This hotel is in the perfect walkable location to the promenade, beaches, restaurants. It has a lot of common spaces that allow sitting outside under beautiful trees. I would definitely stay here again.

Located in an area with quick access to the train, surrounded by nice surprises such a as Nervi Park and Anita Garibaldi’s walk, this is definitely a hidden breakfast was also a good surprise. I would possibly repeat

This is a lovely small hotel with air conditioning and a lift. Parking is on the grounds for free. Breakfast is included. The staff is wonderful. It’s located next door to the local train station so you can travel to the other towns with ease. It’s not noisy even though the train station is close by. The promenade to walk along the Ligurian sea is very close also. It is a gem of a place.

It was a lovely hotel in a great location with a lovely promenade and fishing village close by. The room was very small and the bathroom was even smaller. An obese person would not be able to use the toilet.

Lovely little “old school” hotel in a great location. Our room was small but nice. The balcony was big enough for only one chair but had a good view of the water. The lobby is very pleasant and served good drinks. My husband and I ended up eating our meals at the hotel for various reasons. We enjoyed the meal quite a lot. The food was good and the severs were very friendly and helpful. I have some dietary restrictions and they were happy to accommodate me. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. It turned out to be a most enjoyable time.

Positive is not only the location near the train station, but also the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I had a single room, but the bed was wide enough (not an operating room bed in a hospital). For breakfast you can ask for a good, fresh coffee. Bus tickets and the Genova Carte are available at the reception.

Very short walk to a most impressive seafront walk .. ..!! Which leads to Nervi's pocket-sized harbor with ferry boats running to Portofino. Fabulous location. Great value for money.

We were given a small oddly shaped room with 2 single beds, tiny balcony and window. Bathroom though newly decorated was tiny. When we told them we were disappointed we were offered a change of room if we paid 50 per cent of a new room on top of what we felt was an overpriced room for what we had! He was unhelpful

Hotel is like bed&breakfast type. They don't have enough parking. Bathroom smell like pee always. No fan in bathroom you have to close window after it is sauna. Staff ok not speaking English plus point it is next to train station.

The Esperia is a very comfortable and friendly hotel in a great location near the sea and the Eastern locality of Genoa, yet only 15-20 minutes to the city centre. The staff was super helpful and simpatici. Breakfast was also excellent. I will be back!

This hotel is situated right opposite the station which makes it convenient to travel up and down the coast to visit places like Rapallo, San Margherita and Portofino. You can also get a train to Cinque Terre from here which takes about an hour. Although the hotel is close to the station, you do not hear a great deal of noise from the trains. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the breakfast is very good. The cakes are amazing. All rooms have balconies with sea views, some with better views than others, however the balconies are bigger than they look in the photograph which was a bonus. This is a traditional Italian hotel and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There is a park next door which is beautiful and the promenade is a lovely walk in both directions. One way takes you to the small fishing port of Nervi with bars and restaurants (I can highly recommend Halloween) and the opposite direction takes you to a tiny cove which has a public beach which is beautiful and the water is crystal clear, even if the pebbles are hard to walk and lie on. This is an unspoilt part of Italy and not full of tourists. We went in August so it was busy with locals and Italians on holiday but that just added to the atmosphere and made it very special. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be coming back again.

Excellent location, convenient for local transport, shops, restaurants and sea. Rooms all had balconies. Reception staff went the extra mile to make our stay memorable, nothing too much trouble. Would go back

the staff where so friendly and helpful, and the hotel was perfectly clean. The photos do make it look a bit dingy, but honestly i was surprised at how fresh it felt. We didnt eat at the hotel, so can not speak for the quality of the food. But if your wanting somewhere comfortable to set up base for exploring Nervi and the nearby ports this is perfect. We will most certainly be staying here again.
