Good and Bad. Location ok. Room clean and comfortable. BUT, the hotel has an (unresolved) serious problem with ventilation: every morning I was woken with the smell of breakfast cooking at 6.30 am in a room on the 9th floor (in fact the whole of the 9th floor stank of sausages and bacon - even thought the kitchen is on the G/1st level). Complained a couple of times - but told that waking to breakfast smells is a good thing!!!

Nice please close to a lot of attractions. It was a bit too crowded. There is remodeling on the front, does not seem to effect operations. Crew was super nice. Breakfast - super crowded - was not bad, but the crew could barely keep up.

The hotel is not bad as a room but the breakfast and elevator are a nightmare. The breakfast room is very narrow. You are in a race to find a table. The breakfast is mediocre. You have to wait in an incredible queue for everything. You have to wait 20 minutes for the elevator. The reception is not polite. The good thing is. It is close to everywhere. The beds are very comfortable.

Great hotel in a great location. Not far from attractions and also train/metro stations if you wanted to go further afield.
Would recommend this hotel to others

Good location and good value, although breakfast area was too small for size of hotel. The breakfast was ok given it was included in room rate, you wouldn't have paid extra.

The staff was very nice and gave me a new room because my old room smelled of mould. The hotel is very much in need of renovation, but it is clean. It is well situated, about 15 minutes walk to Times square. The worst part is the breakfast room. There was always a line of people waiting (10-15 persons crammed between the tables), overcrowded so you could hardly get to the food, and no tables. The room is many times too small for this big hotel! We had to wait for 10-20 minutes to try to grab a seat or we would have to carry our breakfast and eat it in our room. This was very frustrating and the room was always overflowing with people whenever we tried to come for breakfast. We tried to come for breakfast on different times, it was always overcrowded. However the food was good. I would not stay at this hotel again.

Staff was super friendly and it was clean. The breakfast unfortunately wasn't good and the breakfast area is small but could have been the fact everyone down at the same time. The elevators were very slow in the morning so that made it difficult to get to the lobby. Overall it was a quiet area, staff was great and the beds were comfy. I would recommend.

It was very loud and not enough space for seating at breakfast

Staff was friendly and rooms were clean. Rooms were small but sufficient. Breakfast was okay and the area was very crowded. Very close to the pier, walkable distance.

Booked a double room with extra floor space, but room was still very small. Air-conditioning was really noisy. Breakfast was a joke so busy and poor selection of food.

All the staffs with the helpful and great communication. When we need help they all helped as quickly as possible.
Location was great. Parking advantage with the garage which you have an agreement is perfect and good prices.
Just for breakfast there wasn’t any choices for cold sandwich ( fresh bacons, vegetables) but it’s not so important.
Thanx for everything

The experience went without any complications. The agents were very courteous and helpful. We had a good stay.

The basement is for cheap nights … like their deals and it was really stinky and old.

Hotel was NOT what it was suppose to be! Very expensive and does NOT have what is advertised! Pool Closed, Bar closed, No dining, No breakfast Was excited to stay there. What a let down! Don't waste your money like we did!

Good hotel- great view of the Edge from out of our window. Property cleaned daily. Wonderful convenient location- walking distance to the river, Broadway shows, Times Square, the Edge and subway. Useful to have breakfast provided but it is very busy so patience required. Good restaurants nearby. Friendly staff. Recommend if you’re looking for a good hotel in a convenient location at a reasonable price.

The property itself was.. okay. The area was.. okay. It's Hell's Kitchen. If you're expecting glitz and glamor, this isn't the area. There were highlights. The local bagel shop was amazing though crowded. Still worth the walk even though it was half a mile away. The hotel breakfast? Meh.. it was food. That's about as kind as I can be about it. But SUPER crowded. Actually, the whole place seemed crowded. There was a line at the desk every time I walked by.
The big disappointment was finding out when I got there that I was booked for 9 nights when I was leaving in 2. Admittedly, that was my fault for not going through Travelocity more carefully. I will say, Travelocity did a great job trying to get it straightened out but.. since there was a 'no refund' in place from Holiday Inn, it was the most expensive hotel I didn't stay in for a week. That kinda tainted the experience quite a bit but I appreciate Travelocity's efforts very much.

The room we were in - 216 - there was constant noise from the fridge and i would say from the pipes...kept me up every night...and the fact you could not really regulate the AC was not great.

Everythign was great. Nice room, Clean! The only BIG downside was the very limited space for brekafast which resulted in long queues. Unacceptable for this type of hotel!

The room is way too small. I paid for a city view but the window was so dirty that it was really hard view trough it.
They are not prepare for a breakfast buffet so you gotta fight the for the food, besides the breakfast area it's very small.
The employees are nice and helpful and the premises are clean in general. Even when it is an old building, it is well maintained.

Location is fairly close to Times Square and Midtown but at the end of the day something closer is better. For the price it is a great option. Room very small.

Our door did not lock properly. The elevator takes forever and the breakfast you wait so long to get food and there is no seating available.. you should cater for the amount of rooms you have and 2 elevators definitely not enough.!

Arrived at the hotel and was able to walk in despite the fire alarm going off and the rest of the guests being evacuated. No staff communicated anything to us to tell us what was going on, so waited outside with luggage and other guests until after fire brigade attended briefly then able to go back in - which wasnt announced by staff to guests. Only heard from another guest and due to the smell in the area, that it was a microwave catching fire. Disappointing no communication.
We were given a ground floor room, next to the prep area for the breakfast area, which smelt badly all night due to the fire. Found the room to be very small for 2 adults and 2 children, no space to move! Room also very noisy due to location next to kitchen/foyer/breakfast area. Requested a room move the next day which luckily they arranged to a room on a higher floor, still very small but quieter.
Disappointing breakfast area as very small for the amount of rooms and guests the hotel caters for. We felt sorry for the staff in the breakfast area as the guests were rude, pushy, demanding to them with no thought for other guests.
Positive points are that location is good as easy to get to the main sights and transport, beds comfy (but small for 2) and when there wasn't a squeeze to get breakfast; the choice was fresh and good. The staff on the desk were very accommodating and friendly when we needed them.

Decently kept up property and close to Times Square. TV didn’t work the whole time, said they’d send someone twice but no one came. Free breakfast is what you’d expect for free, but the area is jam packed and all the food is picked thru quickly. Rooms are in good shape and clean but seemed like they didn’t have enough people working. No room to eat as they have limited tables and outdoor area is under construction.

No complaint….it was close to almost everything and we learn how to take subway 🚊 and it was a blast and cheap.

Very good location especially if you are taking a cruise the next day. Room is ok. Gym is small. Staff is very nice. Safe area. The included breakfast buffet is very very crowded. Long wait for elevators. All around a good experience but not wow.
