Property is great, so beautiful and with some magic. Room clean and big
Shower while showering the water got clogged at the point that we have to stop the water so it will not overflow
We were asked to leave our room key, and their main door was kept close all the time, so it feel like we have to report our in and outs at any time.
Pool well it was nasty nasty nasty
It mentioned a posible food service option, that’s not an option.
Overall for the price is ok, but it has lots of potential!

Beautiful room. Very secure. Walking distance to centro.

It's a beautiful property with lots of history.

This place was comfortable, clean, charming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. However, you don't get a key to the front door, and have to knock or call anytime you want in (or out! The latter a real safety hazard). This is true day and night. Fairly weird and uncomfortable, in an otherwise nice place.

Great little gem in the center of Colima, beautiful, big and clean room, nice vintage decor and beautiful garden.
It was quiet and safe, we walked at nigh to the main plaza and we felt safe and rally nice dining options.
Great stay!

The perfect place to stay for a couple of days if you are looking for clean, safe, and comfortable accommodations. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, extra blanket and pillows, small fridge, full length mirror, enough outlets to charge devices, and a very comfortable bed. Bathroom has a nice shower and a separate vanity area. Area is safe to walk and quiet at night. Wish I had stayed longer to spend more time in their beautiful gardens. Highly recommend this property!

Very soulful. Very ambient. A lot of history and a boutique hotel that took you back in time. Beautiful.

the place is on OK, walkable distance from restaurants & parks.

This is my 2nd time at Hacienda del Sol. I was disappointed this time. The room is showing signs of aging, and there was no hot water for morning showers-very disapponting.

recibimos un exelente servicio de parte de las personas que trabajan en el hotel, es una exelente quietud y silencion y comodida y limpieza de sus habitaciones en el hotel, gracias por sus atenciones.

The pictures present a very different property than what was experienced. We were given on small bottle of water for two of us. There was a charge for additional bottles. There is nothing really close although the main square is within walking distance. The bed was fine but after my wife finally succumbed to a cold shower, i alerted the staff and they turned the hot water on. It lasted less than three minutes. There was one fellow on staff who was very pleasant and helpful. Too little too late.

A very nice stay with excellent service. Whatever questions we had, they were answered. A good location not far from the center. Good place to relax in the yard and backyard. Overall a very nice place to stay and clean.

Lovely historical building in the central part of Colima. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fresh homemade breakfast made by Mario for 250 pesos for two people. Room was clean, shower was very refreshing. King size bed was comfy. The furniture was antique and beautiful. Will stay there again.

Love the feeling of the Hacienda , Traditional and Mexican, quiet and beautiful, , my only concern was the upstair Bedroom(tapanko), the stairs were not safe for little kids , had my 6 year old daugther almost falling because of a gap that is located betwen the stairs and the floor

Beautiful old building, very short walk to the central garden in the city. Enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

The hotel is located near the center of down & is an easy walk to the heart of Colima where you can enjoy the many eateries in the Portales.
If you are arriving after 11pm you must call the hotel so they can open the main door to the hotel. This is a little inconvenient however it is a safety precaution they take.

Great location and a really nice room. Jose the manager was very nice and a pleasure to deal with. I would recommend table lamps in the room we had as it was hard to read at night with the wall lamps. Overall a great place to stay.

beautiful clean property. spacious rooms. Only downside is that there is no coffee maker in room. And the hotel doesn't offer any food services

I come to Colima often for business 2 to 6 nights a month. I have stayed at just about every business class hotel in Colima. There are many nice ones. But when I arrived here I knew I had found my new home. No they don't have a great restaurant. Not sure they serve food at all. But they always had my coffee ready and delivered to my door on request. The property is two blocks from the center of Colima where there are a variety of great restaurants and bars and strolling. The parking is very private the room is unique and beautiful. Quiet and secure with great internet and something you rarely find, a great hot shower with excellent pressure. The staff made this Gringo feel right at home.

Nice little place with excellent service. Breakfast was very pleasant and the staff makes you feel at home

This hotel could be so much better. It is well located, has excellent staff........but it is lacking in so many ways. The road in front of the hotel is very busy and so very noisy. There was a small desk with a chair, but that was the only chair in the room; watching TV or having a cocktail had to be done sitting on the bed. The grounds are in need of some flowers and an attention to detail. The breakfast was fine, but there was no option for a warm meal and so it was a simple continental breakfast of fruit and pastry.

Elegant, Delightful, absolutely perfect. A little hard to find but worth the effort~!
The breakfastwas exquisite and the English speaking hostess so very solitious and helpful. Our room and bed was divine.
