Hotels.com didn't state on the website just how LGBT+ this hotel is. Not a problem, but some indication would have been nice...
Room was incredibly small. I own a caravan & that is substantially bigger than the room we were given,
Window was a single glazed sash window. Unfortunately, there was a massive storm on the weekend we stayed & the amount of wind going through gaps in the window frame was incredible. Ended up stuffing the gaps up with toilet paper, but the wind noise was still there.
There were earplugs in the room, but this is not really a solution...
All in all, it was a bit of a disappointment. We will not be returning.

If you’re looking for an LGBTQ+ stay in Brighton then Legends is a great place. Right on the sea front and only a 5-10 min walk to most the attractions and good restaurants.
The room (we had a king size) was great, light and airy and cleaned daily. Breakfast was worth the £10pp
The acts in the evening was a great addition
Be aware though that at a weekend the noise from the bar and downstairs club can be heard in the rooms, they do provide ear plugs for you in the room but if you are noise sensitive it might be a problem.
All in all I would recommend Legends if you’re wanting an lgbtq+ stay in Brighton

This is my regular choice hotel and it never disappoints.
Lovely sunny rooms, clean and comfortable.

Great location, friendly staff, nice clean room, comfy bed.
Parking can be a bit hard, had to drive round to find a parking place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Legends. We splurged a bit and got a room with view of the ocean, and it was well worth it. Coffee in the morning looking out the window at the ocean and people walking and running with their dogs was a perfect start to our days. The entertainment in the lobby was also fabulous. There’s a great pub around the corner, the Camelford Arms, and St James Street with its shops, bakeries, restaurants, etc. is only one block away.

I was disappointed with my stay at Legends Brighton. The pictures on the website were misleading, as my room was significantly smaller than expected. While my friends had better rooms for a similar price, I felt my choice didn’t justify the cost. The location and sea view were nice, but overall, it didn’t meet my expectations. I spoke with staff who offered to switch my room for one night, but I would have to return to my original room due to availability, which was inconvenient.

Clean room, welcoming staff, sunny terrace overlooking the pier and sea. The cabaret in the foyer area went on until late, so it was noisy at night (even on the second floor) and although the hotel thoughtfully provides foam earplugs, I’d suggest you bring your own wax ones for extra silence!

Very friendly stuff, very clean

Strongly suggest the hotel needs to change those old windows in the room to stop wind and noise from outside

I just wanted to highlight the Receptionist "Lizz" who was a delight and instantly made us feel welcome, the staff were all fantastic and i can honestly say i would happily go back.
Is it perfect "of course not" but it fits Brighton and is perfectly located, i will go again.

I stayed at this hotel for a short solo trip. The room was small and cozy. It was perfect for a 2 night stay. The only thing I would say was that at night it was a little cold due to the draft coming through the window and it was a little noisy in the morning due to the seagulls flying around. However, I would definitely recommend this hotel affordable and cheerful. The hotel always has a bar and club downstairs with good entertainment!

Very good all round, great location. Room slightly small....

Room was compact but well equipped. Sea view was nice. Well, noise was the inevitable companion.

For the 'Tiny' Double room was excellent.

Very pleasant stay and friendly staff and extremely clean rooms

Very good stay at legends, the staff were excellent the only slight drawback was how hot the room was meaning we had to have the window open and it was extremely noisy outside. Luckily the hotel did supply earplugs.

I've stayed at Legends several times. The price is great, the staff are friendly, and it's comfortable.

Very noisy the room as was in the front of some heating or ventilation from the roof. Hot no air conditioned , very noisy as previously said barely could fall asleep

Great location, highly recommend getting a sea view room. Room and bathroom nice and clean and modern in comparison to other seaside hotels in the UK. Staff were friendly. Only downside is it was noisy at night. There is a main road outside the hotel and there is a pub/bar within the hotel which means people are hanging out outside the hotel into the small hours of the morning. You can close the window and wear hotel provided earplugs but something to note nonetheless. Overall a nice seaside hotel.

I really enjoyed staying at Legends hotel, but for twodistinctions:
1. The coffe, at breakfast, had an auro of coffee about it and was more like coloured water ->which, on a happier note, motivated me to seek breakfast in other of the many outlets in Brighton.
2. I was denied a shower on my day of departure (19/6) by the fact that I was not given a bath-towel after room-service the previous day. (I was out all day) THAT was a BIG disappointment and marred an otherwise nice stay.
I was fortunate enough to share the excellent entertainment that was on during my stay (14-19/6).
I was well met by the security staff who were very friendly and welcoming.
I would gladly recommend Legends hotel but would also point out that obvious need to ensure a bath-towel. Seriously, what were you thinking?

Upgraded this time around the a large sea view room :) . Food and service was lovely as always. Only moan I would have is , you now have to book breakfast in advance to get at £10 . On the day without booking is £13. Little annoying as sometimes you don’t know know if you fancy breakfast where your staying until you wake up

Laida (sorry, not sure how to spell her name) on Reception was fun and welcoming. Easy to purchase parking through hotel, much easier than doing it on the phone app! Room was clean, nicely stocked and a great size. The only improvement would be to have a movable shower head instead of the fixed one, to make it easier to shower without getting one's hair wet. Location fantastic, I paddled every day in the sea! Thanks, Legends, I'll be back.

Excellent front desk staff asking if I have any preference for my room, this kind of service not happen always

I stayed for 1 night, it was well priced and clean. To check in you have to walk thru a bar/restaurant to get to reception. The place didn’t have AC but understandable with the price. My window had a crack in it and sink is super compact. The bathroom light is to pull a string cord & I have OCD so saw it was sort of dirty I didn’t want to touch it. That being said for the price it was a very nice room. Location is also everything and it’s right across from Bright Beach House (Soho house) and walking distance to the pier!

Lovely stay as always……clean room, sea view, nice shower and friendly staff.

Bit quirky. Lots of different size rooms. Not all boxy and boring. Lovely room with a sea view.

I had an amazing stay at Legends hotel. Brilliant staff who are helpful and friendly. A beautiful location on the sea front as well overlooking the pier

Had a couple of nights stay. The hotel is well situated right on the beach front. The staff are very friendly and we had a great stay. Our room was tiny which would have been an issue if we had stayed longer (the room was higher than it was wide!) There is entertainment during the evenings which we had access to, and the noise didnt carry up to the room although our room faced the sea (had an awesome view) so we could hear the revelers enjoying the night on the patio. We would definitely think of staying here again.

Staff not very helpful and vey noisy at night
