I was pleasantly pleased with the room and for the price it was definitely worth it although a few minor details or cleanliness it didnt affect the overall stay that i had.

The service at Ibis was good the room was fine. We didn’t have a very good nights sleep Friday or Saturday there was a banging on the roof that was caused by the wind which kept us awake both nights. We have reported this to the receptionist she also said others had reported the same.

Convenient for central Brighton

Room was basic but functional. We were up on the 7th floor overlooking the main road and noise wasn’t really an issue. The pod bathroom was a little strange but perfectly functional.
Similar to other reviews thoughts the bed was firm, but not too bad.
Close to the station and the RCP car park reduced cost was really useful.

Great location .. friendly service .. comfortable room, cosy but functional bathroom .. one nighter to attend a concert .. only things missing for me - an iron (which I could probably have asked for) and a safe ..

Very close to train station, which is why I chose to stay here. But there is a bus stop right outside so if you are on the street side, it is quite loud and starts early! When I checked in and went to use the toilet, there was diarrhea on the toilet seat! When I went to use the shower, there was NO water pressure. Have never seen water pressure so poor anywhere, quite frankly. Bed not very comfortable. Breakfast was good. Then I checked out and was charged £7.95 for who knows what since I prepaid for the entire room. Stayed in room 515.

I’ve stayed at the Ibis Brighton many times, the staff are always welcoming, accommodating to our room preferences. The went out of their way to arrange some treats in the room when we stayed over a birthday weekend. It is convenient location for us.

We stayed there for 2 nights. Room was clean and bigger than I expected. Bath room was clean but needed deep clean. Staff are friendly. Breakfast is fine. Check in from 3pm and check out by noon was convenient for us. We left our luggage there after checking out with small fee. Station, cafes and convenient store were near by. It was lovely stay. we will stay there again.

The young lady on reception was especially helpful in finding where we needed to go and went out of her way to provide the information and directions we needed.

My weekend was going amazingly well prior to my arrival at the Ibis Brighton City Centre.
I was in Brighton for a wedding, I was in good spirits and feeling jovial, until I entered your premises. I wasn't greeted, I was welcomed, I was actually berated for being friendly and happy.
First impressions are so important when working in hospitality and front of house staff should always have the emotional maturity to make your guests feel welcome. I didn't deserve the reception I received, I believe Ibis hotel guests deserve better. To add insult to injury shortly after checking in I returned to reception to find Chris complaining about their experiences with customers to a colleague, in ear-shot of other guests. I find these toxic traits very harmful in all areas of life, as an employer I feel sad that this is the best you can offer visitors to Brighton and the Ibis hotel chain.
A hotel stay should be more than just a bed to sleep in. Your team should be making guests feel comfortable, guests should be encouraged to relax and enjoy all of your facilities. I couldn't even join you for breakfast on the Sunday morning after being humiliated during check-in. The spitefulness of your employee ultimately cost you money - 3 x breakfast, 3 x coffee, 3 x orange juice, 3 x water, snacks and candies etc.
It's not always possible to enjoy your job but it is possible to be kind, I wish you staff had been kinder to me.

We stayed at this hotel before an early morning ferry to France from Newhaven. The hotel is in a convenient location for Brighton rail station and met all of our needs.

On arrival staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very clean although there was a mattress topper which had a sheet on, the mattress itself had no protector or sheet which I felt was remiss. Little touches in the room were missing, bearing in mind it wasn’t a cheap stay at over £450 for two nights, but a little pack of biscuits would have been nice and the cheap coffee was poor. There was no safe and a mini fridge would have been good too. It’s in a great location being very close to the station and nice and central which I guess is what you’re paying for.

Entrance, reception, and restaurant area was fine. However the room had an awful smell was very dusty and many stains on the walls and base of the bed which I wouldn’t like to hazard a guess at to what the stains were. Lid on the kettle was broken. Only saving grace was the breakfast, good selection and constantly topped up.

We found the hotel a bit noisy at night and had our first nights' sleep disturbed by a fire alarm. The room was cleaned after the first night, but our tea cups were not cleaned, and the tea bags were not replenished.

Ive travelled to Brighton many times and while I appreciated the close location to the station and the very friendly staff, I couldnt recommend stay here as the beds were so hard uncomfortable it was hard to get any rest. On top of that (which was outside of the hotels control) there were water works ongoing at night. So no rest was achieved that night.

Good stay. Room faced the street so there was a bit of noise but the windows did well to keep the room fairly quiet.

Great reasonably priced hotel near the station very clean and comfortable Staff we met were lovely. The road is noisy till quite late at night but no more than you might expect from somewhere so central. I would definitely stay again.

We had a family room with 2 single beds and a small children’s bed. The mattresses were quite uncomfortable and very flimsy.
The room was very dark and could have been cleaner. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was lovely with great choice for children.

Nice hotel near to Brighton train station, good for a short trip with helpful and attentive staff.
Only downsides were location of plug sockets (nothing near beds), and terrible window blinds - bring an eye mask if you need it to be anywhere close to being dark if facing the road! 😂
