Great!

My stay was terrible! The water was turned off. We couldn’t take a bath the first night. The walls are paper thin. We couldn’t hear babies crying across the hall and someone beat on our wall at 9:30pm for no reason. The same person that we heard snore all night the previous night. The beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. The remote didn’t work to the tub. The lighting is terrible and not good to do work. My key card to open the door stopped working twice. I would never stay there again or recommend people stay there.

The Hotel was excellent, the restaurants were crap.
4.6
There was no hot water during our stay. I’m sure this is not normal.
4.6
This was probably the nicest hotel room i have ever stayed in. It was well worth the cost. The added benefits of the stay made my experience so much better. You have to stay there if you are visiting the pyramid Bass Pro Shop!

Everything was excellent. Breakfast was a joke. Brought the whole experience down!

Was not told that you have to purchase a voucher for breakfast although the check in person did tell us the price of breakfast. Had to call the front desk to find something out and the person was very unfriendly and I had my room number wrong and she laughed at me even though my room number had nothing to do with the question. Went to make coffee in the morning and the coffee maker was missing the main part to brew the coffee so had to go out to get coffee. I didn’t know where to go found the coffee but turned out to be part of breakfast when I told the attendant that I did not have a part in my coffee maker she said I had to call the front desk and I thought she was going to take the coffee away from me (not friendly about it at all) this may all seem minor but when you pay $500 a night you want friendly people to talk to not someone who feels like they are doing you a favor for spending money there.

Staff member that checked us in had difficulty understanding English. As well, She didn’t read the note in the computer about putting us close to an elevator, as we have a puppy that required trips outside and we literally had a 1/4 to a 1/3 mile walk to the elevator several times with a puppy that needed to go outside. Otherwise, our valet was very nice and courteous. Overnight desk staff was very nice when the puppy went out at 1:30 AM and again at 7 AM. Only other thing is the only thing wrong was the ability to have room service later in evening- nothing after 9pm or before 11 AM. The hotel is $350 a night, normally hotels of this “caliber” would have more accommodating hours. They have a buffet breakfast for $25, but obviously this precludes people that can’t leave their pets for long periods- room service should be available in the morning. Management should make a change to this.

We enjoyed a great clean stay. Ashley at the front desk was absolutely amazing!

Big Cypress Lodge is an excellent hotel with lovely rooms, lots of nice perks that you don't find at other hotels and most importantly, lovely staff. Ashley in particular went above and beyond whilst we were staying at the hotel and is a massive credit to the hotel. Wouldn't hesitate to stay there again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Big Cypress Lodge. We knew from photos it was nice, but wow! It was gorgeous! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Loved the shower! The sweet lady that checked us in went above and beyond in customer service. Thank you for a wonderful finale to our 30th Anniversary trip! We can’t wait to visit again.

Our single night stay was incredible. The hotel was beautiful and exciting. The food at The Lookout was fantastic and we all left wishing we could have stayed longer.

The entire check-in staff was less than welcoming, our check in person did not understand English, there was later a safety issue we witnessed while on our balcony overlooking the camping section of the store which involved a group of 6-8 stealing merchandise and a hand gun, when we called the front desk to report it, the person either wasn’t listening or didn’t understand English and was not concerned at all!!! We then tried calling the store and couldn’t get to a human for the automated phone system. When we were leaving, there was dog poop in the hallway, we reported it to the front desk staff and to no surprise, there was no care or concern. It’s such a shame for such a wonderful place, amazing rooms, and amenities to be staffed with such lack of caring, unsociable, non-responsive people!!!!

Front deck check in lady was difficult to communicate with. Her foreign accent was difficult to understand. I had to get her to slow her speech down and repeat her sentences.

It felt like we were at a camp in the woods - a very nice camp.

Complex is really amazing and something I have never seen before. Room was very large and comfortable. Decor was really cool .
Only downside was the connecting door between next door. It was not soundproof and we heard everything. Not very private. Would have expected that not to be an issue in this class of hotel.
We also arrived on a Sunday and didn’t realise the restaurant closed at 7pm. There was a bar open after this, but disappointed at the close time. The menu was also limited on the Sunday which was a shame as it really reduced the choices. Food wasn’t spectacular, but shout out to Marcus our server. He was excellent.

Charged extra parking, restraint is dirty and overpriced, staff is not professional.

When we first checked in we were told breakfast was included and that it was open in the morning. Unfortunately when I walked my children to breakfast there was a rude staff member that said we needed a ticket but couldn’t tell us where to get one. Finally I went to the front desk and was told it would cost $72 for breakfast that we were told when we checked in was included. We paid it because our children were hungry and we had to get on the road for a long trip. Communication needs to be better for sure they also need signs on where things are because I had to ask multiple times just to figure out where to go. The elevator by the bowling alley was broken, our fridge was leaking, the room was not clean, staff members were less than friendly besides a few. I hope this review will help this company make some changes for future people who are staying here because for what we paid it was 100% a waste of money.

It was a very interesting and fun place to stay.

To say I was disappointed is an understatement. Check in was noisy with the store being right outside and I could barely hear or understand what the clerk was saying. Tried to eat at Wahlburgers restaurant and was told there was an hour wait even though at least 1/3 of the tables were empty. Said they had no servers and suggested we try sitting at the bar. We were ignored for about 30 minutes. Food wasn't that good but was very expensive. $50.00 for a chicken sandwich/burger/one order of fries and 2 soft drinks is excessive to me. Would not stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Love the place! Bass Pro downstairs. Several restaurants inside the building. Beautiful, rustic decor throughout. A museum, spa, gym, and business center conveniently located. Observation deck overlooks the Mississippi River Bridge, which lights up at night. Valet parking was quick, efficient, and polite. Desk staff was friendly and polite. Housekeeping staff asked when i passed them in the hall, if there were anything they could do for me.

Staff were not very friendly for seemingly no reason. I accidentally left something in the room and realized after already back home in another state. I found there’s no way to contact the property directly. I sent a message on their website and received and automated message with a complicated online process to try to get my things back. It was frustrating and confusing so I just gave up. For the price, I expected way more. Not worth it.

Will be going back soon

Amazing atmosphere. Staff friendly but could improve guest services. Overall fantastic stay.

For how pricey this hotel was it was not worth it for my family. They did not have the extra security locks on the doors. The shower handle you couldn’t figure out what was hot or cold it spun in a whole 360 and just keep going. The beds were extremely noisy every time you moved and extremely uncomfortable. The air jets in the tub turned on in the middle of the night. We had to change rooms at mid night. Also the light switches next to the door don’t turn on any lights. So that was fun to try to navigate in the dark with two tired kids. NOT WORTH the MONEY! The experience was nice but not worth the price tag attached!

The duck cabin has a private patio that is super nice to sit on and drink a beer. Bring your own beer because the hotel bar closes at 10pm

Great family stay in Memphis!

Everything was perfect except the staff. The staff wasn't friendly at the check-in. They could have made me feel welcome by saying, Hello with excitement. Staff could have explained more details about the skyrocket or rise of the lodge. We didn't know what time the skyrocket closed. As we approached the lodge to skyrocket around 9:30 pm, the lady security guard said, hey where yall going in a loud rude voice. We felt like we did something wrong. The second worst experience was the next morning I went to get breakfast, and an elderly guy was standing at the door with his hands crossed looking in a mean way. I asked him, could I get two to-go plates to take back to the room. He wasn't polite at all. He said no, because people take too much food back to their room. Now, we just paid 50 dollars for the breakfast buffet- 25 dollars per person. So, I decided to get a refund for the buffet. Then I asked about room service, the hotel receptionist said they stopped a month ago for room service. However, my overall experience at the Cypress Lodge was great. The room was amazing and Wahlburger was delicious. I loved the pro bass shopping. Oh, there was a lady (Janice or Tina) who was a housekeeper. She greeted me on the 3rd floor. I felt like the hotel valued their customers.

The wifi was poor and the water pressure was not good. Also the show head kept coming off

Absolutely amazing. Felt so homey we didn’t want to leave.

Kinda cool. Just no concierge like website said. Basket left had name of previous person in room. We found tons of stuff left from previous occupant in random spots. Valet and shuttle was awesome.

It was a great stay - Jackie in Regiistration was the sweetest - a lady that worked in the upstairs bar I didn’t catch her name but she was very nice as well (a very petite black lady) my grandson LOVED the robes lol
