We stayed 2 nights at Les Pinsons des Rives. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by our host Laura. There is a small cafe bistro on the main floor which closes early at 9 pm and the hotel is very quiet after that. Also, there lots of restaurants all walkable near the Inn. A breakfast is offered in the mornings at a very reasonable price and well worth the selection that is offered. The room we stayed in was cozy and comfortable with a view of the river. We highly recommend the Inn. You are made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive.

This is a great location in the center of town and on the St. Lawrence River. In the evening it has a true pub atmosphere with regulars locals who welcome guests. This might be the single best feature. There are tapas available. For alternate dining, there are restaurants of many different types within walking distance, including ones offering elegant French cuisine. We are already planning to return in 2024.

Lovely welcoming, homely and comfortable place to stay. Friendly welcome from the owner Laura. Beautiful view of the Malbaie and St Lawrence rivers from the room. Lovely indoor terrace with a view. Good, healthy breakfast. Also ate in the evening, tapas-style dishes which were very good.

Friendly clean quiet inn , it is like staying with family . Healthy light breakfast is available . If you don’t like hotels this a nice change . On main road beside the ocean . Shower , toilet and TV very convenient. Beautiful walks or biking on ocean trail .

Very nice stay. Friendly staff, comfy bed, on-site parking and separate entrance from the bistro. We stayed in a room with river view, but didn’t benefit much from the view. In stead, there’s a small sun room in the back with one table and two chair. I enjoyed my river view there earlier morning. Love it! Located on the street with several good restaurants walking distance. However, didn’t get in any of them without reservations in advance. So we drove to Belles et Bum next to Macdonald. Very tasty food with reasonable price. Overall, we enjoyed very much our stay. Just little reminder to the housekeeping, there’s half bottle Perrier left from previous guest in our fridge. You know…

Charming older house with very comfy beds, coffee-maker in the room, nice products. Hotel has a small bar for drinks & tapas, breakfast (cold) is offered for a surplus charge. Small shower/toilet room (I'm guessing it used to be the closet), but sufficient for short-term stays. Altogether a nice stay, but if you don't like older houses with creaky, uneven wooden floors, this place isn't for you.

We had a really great stay, our room was clean and comfortable and we appreciated being met by the owner who gave us some tips on where to go for dinner. The location was great and there’s nothing in particular that could have improved our stay. It’s just a shame that the inside of the café and board games weren’t accessible because of Covid regulations!

The accommodation is exactly as described. The bed is super comfy. The atmosphere of the house is lively and bohemian, seems that there is always something cool to be done. As we were leaving really early to go hiking, they prepared a breakfast-box for us which was lovely. Totally recommend it.

Finding a place in this area is not difficult but finding one which makes you feel so welcomed may not be as easy. Here you become an instant friend of the family. The owners immediately took to our dog and care for him while we visite Quatre Vents garden. Stay here and you will not be disappointed.
