Third stay here. Clean, charming, and friendly. Perfect after a week in STJ to get dinner and gas and head to STT in the morning. Rented the Oceanside unit this time so we wouldn’t have to schlep our suitcases up the myriad of steps to the other units. Wish the Oceanside units had balconies or better Oceanside seating.

Wonderful spot with great views. Check in was amazing with plenty of recommendations for dining options within walking distance. I had a small room with outdoor bathroom, which was fine for a solo traveler. I am enjoyed sitting on the pool deck and looking at tbe view. This is not a resort with a million amenities but a quiet peaceful retreat.

Best place to stay at on St Thomas! Our room was super adorable and clean! Very cozy and RIGHT on the waterfront. With the bonus of a pool on property. We absolutely loved our stay and will be staying there again soon.

We appreciated that Eddie and Candy were open to questions we had, whether they were about transportation, ideas of what to check out, etc. The property is clean, quiet and home to several friendly cats, who we loved. Great views. Oh, we also absolutely loved the Ponche Kuba in the mornings with coffee. Hope we can return again sometime.

A quaint, quiet little spot that felt more like a home than hotel. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. I loved the little selection of books to read, the hot morning coffee, the free use of beach towels and equiment, the pool....and the 🐓 roosters. We stayed during tropical storm Ernesto and Candy & Eddie were so calm that we were never worried for our safety. We truly appreciated that they let us extend our checkout time when our flight home was delayed by the storm. I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

So I didn’t love the Frenchtown area. Olga’s as clean for certain but certainly outdated in a lot of ways that matter. I could hear every word my neighbors said on their balconies in the morning and overall it was just a little too outdated and up close and personal for our taste. The Oceania restaurant is excellent though. The staff at Olga’s was also very good. I just didn’t love the property itself.

The owners of Olga's fancy demonstrated great hospitality and flexibility providing accommodations during Hurricane Eduardo. Frequent text messages prior to our stay made clear what to expect during challenging weather. Fresh brewed coffee and tea, mini-fridge and AC. Generator backup greatly appreciated! Look forward to staying again and exploring further the historical Frenchtown area of St. John. Thank you Candy and Eddie!

Quaint place and lock gate at night for security. If lots of luggage, ask for building across street (1 level) as there is a lot of stairs at the main complex. Nice pool & plenty of lounge space around pool. Down side is only provides coffee and water in morning down by check in office. They help set up transportation whether it’s to local areas or to the airport.

Close to airport. Location is quiet and beautiful. Rooms nicely decorated and spacious. Hosts are super nice, courteous and friendly. If electricity goes out there is backup energy available. Services are not affected. Lovely place.

I stayed at this property twice in a 3 week span and I adore this place so much. They are so cool and gracious, and the rooms and beds are so comfy. First time we got room 8.5 (iykyk). Outdoor bathroom and shower was incredible. Second time was room 12- nice view, quiet, super-comfy bed. I highly recommend this place. Its especially lovely on your way into or out of STT, since it is convenient (but not walkable) to the airport. Yoy CAN walk to a bunch of great nearby restaurants in Frenchtown- the Twisted Cork and Oceana were our faves. Stay here. Really!! Recommend

It’s up on a hill with a beautiful view of sailboats and the sea. There were wonderful bird and frog sounds. We could also see rainstorms slowly come in from the balcony. Nice pool, great friendly staff. Spotless room and bathroom with a great shower. We are coming back for sure!

I would recommend staying at Olga's Fancy to anyone looking to stay in the Frenchtown area of St. Thomas. The view from our room was the best of our trip and we really enjoyed relaxing in the pool area with the (free) morning coffee. Other perks include a very nice next-door restaurant named Oceana and a location that is a walkable distance to other restaurants. The staff is very friendly and will help you setup a taxi or answer any questions you may have. Keep in mind the location does not have a beach in the immediate area if that's important to you.

Olga's fancy offers an absolutely spectacular view. It is secluded, but close to everything. The rooms are modern with beds that give the illusion of sleeping on a cloud. The pool was the perfect temperature day and night. The owners are helpful and kind. Enjoying my coffee every morning on the Lanai would be hard to beat. I wish I was still there ..... By this was lovely. Really clean without a doubt, with a twist of old Frenchtown and history, up high in the bluffs overlooking the harbor. Nice brease. Loved the place. Will return for sure. More later then.

If you are used to staying in hotels, then book a hotel. But, you don’t know what you’re missing. This is an intimate boutique hotel with coffee in the morning, conversation with guests and staff throughout the day and resident cats 24/7. I found the location to be convenient for accessing the university, Frenchtown, as well as the tourism centers. Plus, it abuts one of the finest restaurants on the island, Oceania, amazing food, cocktails, and wonderful views. So do yourself a favor, stay at a boutique hotel that feels like an old school B&B (before the “Air”) where the proprietress is there to talk, tell stories & listen to your experiences. You won’t regret it.

The owners were very nice and helpful. They recommended food options and we ended up eating at the restaurant on the water. The room was very clean and we had a beautiful view of the water. The only reason, I did not give five stars for the condition of the property, is due to the bed, it was really soft. However, I would definitely recommend this property and we would stay there again.

It was everything we wanted. Such a cute little boutique hotel. Our room was super cute with fun art and furniture (good AC too!). The pool was pretty much empty every time we went, I'm not sure why, it was an amazing pool, it felt very private. Beautiful views of Charlotte Amalie. At night, the lights of the city are so pretty. The grounds were so green and lush! It was mango season, we got all we could eat. A big bonus for me was friendly kitties, felt like home. There were lots of lizards and quite a few chickens (not in the hotel but in the space around it). Pontoon planes take off and land really close, very fun to watch from our ocean view balcony. There was a little fridge in the room, perfect for leftovers and a six pack. Great location. Restaurants and a corner store within a 5-10 minute walk. We rented a car and everything was 30 minutes away. Parking was very easy. They also offered everything you might need. Sunscreen, snorkels, coolers, bug spray, towels AND fresh coffee in the morning. The proprietors were so helpful. 11/10. Would stay again no question. If you have a car and want to explore the island instead of a resort, this is the spot.

Just left Olga’s this morning. Great job guys! Clean rooms, beautiful view, awesome pool, quiet location (except the rooster, lol)! Eddie was great, gave us some good local dining options. The mango tree is ripe right now, they were delicious. Great coffee every morning. We wanted an island paradise for our 25th anniversary and we found it at Olga’s Fancy. So pleased with our stay!

The property owners are so kind, friendly and personable. I’ll be back as I travel through St Thomas a lot! Wish I’d known about this place sooner! It’s a gorgeous location and although simple, is clean and inviting.

Felt like staying at a family home rather than a hotel. Comfortable and homey, with quality coffee every morning. Enjoyed talking with the owners, as well as fuzz therapy with the hotel cat staff. Lovely views and easy access to everywhere. There are stairs, a lot of them, but won't bother you so long as your legs work and you're not weak.
