Litt under standard enn det jeg hadde forventet/er vandt med. Dårlig frokost. Ok lokasjon mtp. beliggenhet.

Very cool and interesting hotel but when we went to check in they told us hotels.com booked wrong room and we didn’t have room. They eventually said they could give us a different room but was very stressful and confusing when felt it shouldn’t have been

Parking was a nightmare. Breakfast terrible & staff were not helpful

The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the high beamed ceiling, the very UK decor, and the balcony overlooking the street where the Easter parade passed by. A message sent us offered to organize the transfer to and from the property, but our message accepting that offer was ignored. That was just as well since the prices quoted were higher than what we experienced. Instead of 20 euro from the airport, the Malta Transfer van got us within a block of the property for five euro. When we were ready to return the staff arranged a taxi for us that cost 11.25 euro.

You can't get a better location than paulos, right in the centre of Valletta and waking distance to everything.
The rooms are a little worse for wear (bathroom window wouldn't shut and the door handle kept coming off) but all manageable and the rooms were very clean and spacious. Breakfast was fine.
Biggest issue for us is that the room itself would not lock and this was not fixed for our entire stay. Luckily we had no real valuables with us and the building felt quite safe, but this was not ideal. The communication about it was limited and slow. Eventually the owners simply said it wasn't fixable because a company was closed. No effort to fix through different means (we suggested the physical lock that was also on the door) or provide us an alternative safe space. At one point the door did lock itself whilst we were out, we were not told but had luckily taken the key with us anyway.
This didn't ruin our stay but did cause a bit of anxiety and unnecessary stress on the holiday. I imagine if wouldn't be the case if you were there at any time other than Christmas as hopefully the lock company would be open.

Loved the room and the quirkiness. The room was really clean. Only issue was confusion getting in - the instructions we had emailed were different from the reality of getting in. But apart from that it was great!

Very relaxed staff, a simple but decent enough breakfast. Building is made of heavy stone and though our room was narrow, it felt bigger with super tall ceilings. Simple but quaint styling. Location is close to the Gozo ferry ‘lift’ which take you from Portside up to the old city - if you take this ferry look out for the ‘lift’ pass they provide you as this gets you up there free.

It definitely is a boutique hotel, extremely beautiful (amazing furniture and attention to details), premium location, extremely friendly and accommodating hotel staff, very good breakfast!
My only pieces of developmental feedback would be about the window blinds, which do not have black outs, and the steps between 1st and 3rd level, which can be hazardous , as some are not levelled and with significant dips.

Checkout time is extremely early at 10:30am. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived at check in 1:30pm. The room is extremely cold if you are there in winter and the heater only does so much. There’s no slippers available and the floor was freezing. We needed to leave our bags after checkout and had to come back at their convenience since the desk it not always open. Better off spending your money somewhere else. I only say this because a room this expensive should have higher expectations and service.

It is a great hotel in Valletta. Room has decent space considering the old town, and very close to the main street and attractions. Wifi was good. Only thing I see a bit unconformable was shower. It could be the old structure of the room with only curtain. Other than that, overall great.

Wonderful! The staff is so lovely and amazing. Rooms are so beautiful, spacious, and grand. Comes with little kitchen, beautiful bathroom, and soft bed. In a great location to everything and a market nearby. We booked a return taxi with shuttle malta at the airport and they were 30 mins late, staff kept checking on us to see if the taxi was coming and used their phone to call twice to see what was going on. I am grateful for the staff as the shuttle would have never come. I will come stay here again and advise all coming to do the same!

The hotel is very pretty and has nice decoration and location but the rest was awful. Wifi didn´t work and the mattress and pillows were hard.
The worst part was the customer service: as we checked in, the young Italian woman working in the reception had problems with and made comments about our nationality (?!) and the way we had booked the room (through hotels.com) as the hotel gets the money from booking sites months late. Why are they advertising their hotel on several booking sites then if they don't want customers through these sites..?
I´ve travelled a lot and never before made feel so unwelcomed to a hotel. We were two over 30-year-old females with manners so I can´t think we provoked this rudeness in any way, except for our mere presence.

Fantastic. Spotlessly clean. Maria was so helpful and friendly. Wonderful view over the harbour from the private terrace. Breakfast and snacks available. Property lovingly restored over 2 years.
