Wonderful space to unwind and relax in nature. Close to so many enjoyable places. The hosts thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Would highly recommend to family and friends. We took in a concert at Mountain Winery in Saratoga and it was the perfect retreat for a memorable weekend.

This was THE most enjoyable vacation rental we have ever experienced. They really had thought about everything! There are so many things that we always pack of our own, but at this property we could literally have just brought our clothes and hygiene stuff and we would have been OK. Will DEFINITELY go back again.

This property is a lovely retreat under the redwoods. It is well outfitted for families and cooking together, with laundry. Beds are comfortable. Be prepared to learn some technology and make fires in wood stove for heat.

We loved staying in this beautiful house nestled in a dizzying skyline of redwoods..The chef's kitchen was ideal for us and on one occasion, when we had trouble figuring out the TV volume, the owner got back to me within a minute. (The surround sound will make you feel like you're in a movie theatre). We also loved the copper bath, the fire pit outside and driving around the local area. The local town, Boulder Creek felt like a movie set and the supermarkets sell high end organic produce and great wines. We will return!

What a lovely home this was! They provided a great explanation of how to use the wood burning stove with pictures included! Unfortunately it was raining during the few days we were there but we were able to use the little axe throwing set out back the day of check out! It is a cool plastic set so no worries about anyone getting hurt! They were very responsive to any messages sent. Definitely recommend this spot to anyone!

We came to Felton as a vendor in the Santa Cruz Sol festival music weekend. We always look for a house to rent in the area as it’s best when we get to stay together. This house was perfect. Very comfortable and fun. We enjoyed it very much!

We loved the cabin and surrounding redwoods. Even on a rainy couple of nights, the cabin fireplace was so cozy and comfortable and close to great nature hiking at Castle Rock and Big Basin parks. The hosts were super responsive and gave some great food recommendations too. Fully recommend!

Lovingly decorated, roomy cabin with fully equipped kitchen, lots of beautifully landscaped outdoor space, and clear, helpful house instructions. There was a glitch from vrbo in the description but the hosts worked diligently to fix it with prompt responses and great communication. We loved the soaking bathtub and the amazing views of the trees all around. We greatly appreciated that we could bring our dog. We were only there two nights but it would be very comfortable for a longer stay. The hosts seem to have put a lot of thoughtfulness into making this a wonderful place to enjoy.

We come every year to participate in the Santa Cruz Mountain Sol Fest in Felton. This year we had to bring our dog so we found The Redwood House. It is so charming and spacious for the 5 of us. Although it is tucked away, getting there was easy. It’s very quiet and we all slept so well. I would definitely stay here again!

I’ve stayed at many VRBOs and this was my best experience. They thought of every detail. The landscaping and surrounding redwoods are breathtaking.

Our stay here was excellent. We loved that it was pet friendly along with a gate so dogs couldn’t go downstairs. Everything was clean and fresh. The yard was completely fenced in, easy access side gate and large gate. Had no issues finding property. Only 25 minutes from Santa Cruz board walk. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was very enjoyable as we were looking for a quiet pet-friendly location in the redwoods. The property is almost fully fenced so our dogs could go outside with supervision without concern that they would run off. The house is beautifully decorated with a zen-like vibe. The king bed (only one used) was super comfortable. We truly enjoyed our retreat at this home and hope to return again.

Once behind the property gates we felt like we were in our own private section of the redwood forest. A very special location. All the amenities were available. We were here during a warm spell so it was a little uncomfortable on the main level without ceiling fans or air conditioning. However the basement level with 3 of the 4 bedrooms was much cooler.

San Francisco native, never spent time in boulder Creek. Nice place with bit of hippie vibe. The home was set up nice inside and out.
Stairs leading down stairs could have used a hand rail. Trouble with cell phone reception.
My son and girlfriend enjoyed using the fire pit at night. Would definitely recommend.

A very peaceful and quiet stay, the trees were so tall it was unreal! The hosts were very quick and helpful with any questions we had. The enclosed property was very spacious and along with being pet friendly for them to roam. The fire pit was the deciding factor for us choosing this site. Thank you so much for allowing us in your home and we will definitely be back in the future(:
