Lovely hotel, very well appointed and good service. Few minor niggles - lighting and pavement between hotel and pool building could be better and the food was very salty. Only minor though and really enjoyed my stay.

Me and the Mrs had a great 1 night stay here, a lovely modern Hotel all decked out with amazing Christmas decorations. We drank at the bar and had our tea in Wlifred's Restaurant where the food was outstanding, my wife is a fussy eater but the food was cooked to perfection. All of the staff we spoke to we're friendly and helpful and we honestly couldn't find a fault with this Hotel. It was amazing!!!

We stayed for four days to celebrate our Anniversary. Having stayed there before, the hotel was as magnificent as we remembered . Breakfast was amazing, the room was very spacious, food was delicious in all 3 restaurants and drinks were fabulous. Highly recommended if you wish luxurious accomodation in the middle of green fields.

Absolutely excellent from start to finish. All staff exemplary, throughout the resort. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was beautiful with a gorgeous view of the lake, comfortable, very clean Woodland spa, breathtaking. Wilfred's restaurant was delicious.

Overall crow wood hotel is very good, clean rooms and hotel, friendly staff and we had a lovely breakfast. The only thing that let it down was that the bathroom we had was not the same as in the one in the hotel website picture! We did not have a bath and also no glass splash screen but a shower curtain instead, very disappointed 😒

The Crow Wood is fantastic. I have stayed several times. The staff are very helpful. The rooms are a good size, well presented, very comfortable and clean. The dining in the main restaurant is varied with good service. The gym facilities are excellent. I would recommend staying here.

Stayed for a wedding. Room Was spacious, very clean. Bed and pillows super comfy! Temple spa toiletries supplies, breakfast choice was great and very tasty. Got asked for is on check in which we hadn’t got, (had to show passport pic on phone) would have been better to notify us of this at the online check in. Also, £100 is pre authorised on card during check in and refunded on check out. Wasn’t too happy about the card only- cash isn’t accepted anywhere on site. Would happily stay again

It was a nice hotel and service is generally very good. Felt like northern hospitality. Like how they don't charge service charge as standard on things like restaurant service. Rooms are quite spacious but views could be better. No mini fridge and no slippers as standard which I found surprising for a 5* hotel. Disappointed Bertams restaurant was closed when we visited so only had 2 options available. The setting is secluded which is very nice. Breakfast was OK...pretty standard but not remarkable as a lot of extras cost money. All in all 4 star as nothing was disappointing...but I expected more from a 5* hotel. 5* to me means the place would knock my socks off and delight me. But it was a decent effort.

The staff were excellent m. However, the leisure facilities particularly the sauna was far too small and very crowded. I never got a chance to use it. Which was a shame as that was one of the main reasons why we booked the hotel.

We stayed here for one night and were very impressed. We made use of the Leisure Centre. Make sure you book The Spa if you want to use their facilities. The Lakeside Bar area was very nice with a vast selection of spirits including alcohol free cocktails and bottled beer/cider. We went to the “Allo Allo” dining experience which was fab. We had a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed, then woke up and had a buffet Full English breakfast which also had a croissants gluten free muffins fruit and yoghurt. We would highly recommend this place.

we had a ver nice 3 night stay, we weren't in the hotel a lot of the time as we had a family funeral. I used the gym, well equipped and good equipment. We had breakfast all very good and we weren't rushed from the table which was really nice. Every member of staff we spoke to was really pleasant, helpful and polite. Rooms were cleaned every day and they are a good size. I would stay in this hotel again.

The rooms are amazing, the desk staff are also amazing but the restaurant and bar staff could do with some extra training. I stayed in the hotel for a total of 10 nights, going to the breakfast every morning. Each morning the hostess at the breakfast would ask us the same robotic questions, including if we’d eaten there before. They should recognize guests that are there for a longer stay and say welcome back. Also not sure why you have to show your room card for every single round of drinks. Again some of the staff are just robotic. It doesn’t make you feel welcome. Overall a really amazing hotel, just wish some of the staff would pay a little more attention to their guests.
