Welcome to Grayson Grove! This 30 acre property is a hidden gem just outside of Sherman. Tx. If you want seclusion and comfort but easy access to all of the amenities of a modern city this is an ideal place for you! This newly remodeled home has 4 bedrooms, 31/2 bathrooms. You can easily accommodate 9-10 people with a large open concept kitchen/tv. There is a stocked fishing pond and a playground hidden in the woods with amazing walking trails. As well as a hot tub to relax and enjoy the stars.

At first glance, this place is aesthetically pleasing to the eye that is all undone as soon as your open the front door. Once inside, you'll first notice the mold/mildew smell particularly if you're sensitive to it. As you walk around, you'll notice cobwebs, spiders, bugs and a real lack of any preparatory cleaning for your visit. Once upstairs, you'll really start to notice the smell of mold/mildew and see that a previous guest had destroyed a side table mounted next to the bed. As disappointing as this was the first few hours, we swept inside and out and cleaned the best we could to make it more comfortable and as enjoyable as we could for our family get together. The host said there was a BBQ set up. However, there were no available tools to use it and it was filthy. The house in general wasn't well equipped and anything that was left behind for guests was either dirty or old (not even a new sponge to use). Bed time was the worst as we noticed one of the beds was broken, no coincidence the same room that had the wall mounted table ripped off. All beds except master had dirt in the sheets. Some of us ended up sleeping in our cars for comfort and decided that one night was more than enough. I asked the host for a refund so we could go somewhere else which she declined. Despite sending pictures of everything, she stood by her housekeeper and offered no real adequate solution. She blamed us for breaking bed. Terrible experience and ruined reunion!

Our trip was double booked (not sure how that happened) and we were greeted by the other guest as we were trying to open the door. Lets just say it could of ended ugly. So here we were late at night stranded all 5 of us plus a dog!! But we were able to get a hold of the host and after a night in a hotel we got a knew place at no cost. Not sure how this happened but in the future i will communicate with the host sooner cause it was a bit scary and very inconvenant. This is why im giving low rating cause i never saw the property.

We had another great experience at Hidden Country Oasis! The place is absolutely gorgeous!! Kitchen is well equipped (even with lots of spices, oils, etc.). Beds are comfy & home is very spacious! This is our second time staying here & the whole family loved it!! Our grandkids (ages 3, 6, & 10) had a blast fishing in the pond - yes, we caught a bunch of fish (with our own fishing rods) & going for hikes on the property. We made s'mores every night and built a huge bonfire in the fire pit. The front of the house (where the fire pit & pond are located) faces West & the sunsets are incredible!! Thanks again for such a great stay!! :)

Three generations of our family stayed here so that we could spend some quality time together. The house has stunning views of a lake with lots of acreage that includes a hidden playground our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed. The house is beautifully decorated, spacious and very clean. Amanda was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay.

Simply stated, you will not find a better host. Amanda was communicative, friendly, and accommodating. The property is gorgeous - there’s a fire pit with comfortable chairs overlooking a serene pond with a willow tree. We loved spending our evenings watching the sunset there. Between the hot tub out back and downstairs fireplace, there was always a perfect place to warm up after exploring outside. Great, large kitchen where you can still interact with family while cooking meals. It was a wonderful stay - we will definitely be back!

The property was lovely and quiet. The living area was very nice. Other than the master bedroom, however, the other bedrooms were mis-represented. The lights did not function upstairs in bedrooms; window shades would not go up; in all other bedrooms inadequate bedside tables and lamps. Too much tech to figure out...multiple remotes for lights, shades, fans, etc. without good instructions. Toilet in master would not flush unless we opened top and did it manually. Bar not stocked with shaker that worked as we were told it was. Sprinklers went off every morning and night, and we were soaked when sitting by fire pit one evening. Not necessary! Ice maker not working. Just had bags of ice in freezer. Thermostat for heat/AC very complicated. Dead crickets under master sink, not swept behind furniture, towels put up while still damp before we arrived. Short recap: I think this is a lovely property and we had a very good time. It seems that it has been turned over to a manager/housekeeper without adequate supervision, however, and has not been kept up well. Main complaint: the owner/host would not respond to my many texts and voicemails so we were unable to ask questions or get help with things. With better oversight, this would be a wonderful place to stay!

This house is so awesome!! We had an incredible time with our 3 grandchildren, ages 3-10. The house is very well equipped with everything you need - All of the kitchenware is top notch!! & plasticware for the kids!! :) Bedding was wonderful!! Bath towels smelled so good!! The home is gorgeously decorated & very clean! The pond is just a few yards from the front door & well stocked. Our grandkids caught lots of fish & had a blast! The fire pit has 6 really nice chairs and we were able to sit outside and watch the kids fish & run around the property. We also took hikes on the property which was a lot of fun & played shuffleboard, which was a huge hit! In the mornings, we watched geese roam across the property & in the evenings, blue herons fish in the pond. We cooked all meals at the home...there's a Walmart & Albertson's just a short drive away. This was a vacation we will all remember - Thank you!! We will definitely be back!! :)

This property was idyllic. It was off the beaten path and provided privacy and also a calming peace to our stay. We loved everything about this home. It is modern and beautiful and has plenty of space for a small group or family gathering. We were truly wowed! The scenery of the surrounding property was so lovely and restful with a pond and babbling fountain just steps away. Don’t walk, run to book this property if you have need of a stay in North Texas. A true gem! Thanks to Amanda for caring for our guests and for her prompt communication also!!
