Very convenient, easy access location

Great base to stop off if exploring Donegal. Host was more than accomodating on late arrival and very understanding. House itself was warm and comfortable and good value for money.

Nothing!
Nothing, the view was facing the cemetery and the house was extremely cold. The taps in the bathrooms were not secured well, if you turned them on the whole tap moves around. Directions to the property were atrocious, the post code sent to us took us about five miles away from the property. We had to stop several times to ask for directions.

Kerstin and Marion are very hospitable, kind and good at welcoming. They have established a homely atmosphere.
perhaps more cleaning was better

Comfort level and even luxury at 3+ hotel stars, but affordable because of no heating and fire. Private rooms, free towels and washing.
No hot water in tubs for the vacant time or engaged when the water was present, no fire in fireplaces. Limited public transport availability, after 2 pm you have to take a taxi.

It was an amazing experience...I would never forget these days.
Everything was outstanding.....so supportive.

I've picked some eatible and tasty wild mushrooms in the neighbourhood ;) there is a lot of free supplies, nominally only a continental breakfast is included in the staying rate, but for continuous stayng, if you buy and bring some supplies of your own, you have a possibility to cook Full Irish, Cabbage and Bacon, Irish Stew etc.
No heating in bedrooms while there is hot in bathrooms, but you cannot sleep in a bathroom. No hot water the most part of the day.

Petit-déjeuner très correct. Excellent accueil. Je recommande ce B&B très accueillant.

Nicola the host was very warm, friendly and made a fantastic Irish breakfast.
Having the use of the kitchen made life very easy for us.
Great wifi.
Unfortunately the cleanliness of the room wasn't the best, due to a lot of dead flys around the windows and floor. The bathroom taps didnt work very well and we got stuck in the bathroom due to the door sticking..it was also loud to open or close.
The bed wasnt very comfy due to the plastic undersheet on the mattress.

Although advertised as BnB, and, and we booked whole property, breakfast was NOT available !
Singage to identify property. Three identical bungalows, none with clear and reasonable sized nameplate. Paper name in window of one!
Advertised Breakfast was available ...

It was very easy to find as it was nearly on the through road, so very convenient. The cooking facilities were shared, which had all the pros and cons of a youth hostel.
There was no television. The breakfast was prepared in advance and reheated in the microwave, never very successful.

I liked everything - the owner was lovely, it was right next to a bus stop, the breakfast was delicious, the social areas were clean and comfortable, tea and coffee available all the time, the bedrooms were lovely and the bed so cosy and comfortable. I loved it here and would definitely stay again.

Nothing

Good location, very quiet, lots of rooms, spacious rooms
3.0 / 10.0
Lots of space, big rooms, number of bathrooms.
As per other recent reviews - main problem was the overwhelming feeling that nothing has been deep cleaned in a long time and most of the surfaces are sticky with dirt. Previous guests hair under shower, dirty fridge door, bad smell around it. Extremely hard mattresses, scarce and worn utensils. Very worn sofa in the living room. Pity, as the owner is very nice and communicative, place has definitely a lot of potential.

Breakfast was cooked before we came to the table and was luke warm. Toast was cold.
Facilities in bedroom was very basic. No Tv and we had to share toilet and bathroom

Host was very polite.
The bedroom window did not close properly so there was a draught all night. The breakfast was poor. Frozen waffles were not cooked through. Toast barely toasted.

Breakfast was excellent host could not have done enough for us
having to go downstairs to use shower

Everything was very clean and the price is okay.
Was not clear to us that we had to share bathroom. The communication was not very open on how to check in and what to look for. The view from the house is “special”. I was looking for a bbq, because I thought this was one of the facilities, but couldn’t find one. To be fair i also didn’t ask for it.

Nicola was so friendly and my son loved playing with her grand daughter :) we loved eating with other guests.

Nicola was wonderful. It was nice talking with her while she cooked breakfast. It was also nice to chat with other guests at breakfast. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.
Through Booking.com I had booked bed and breakfast for everyone, however, Nicola informed me when we arrived, there was no breakfast available for those who were staying in the cottage. The cottage was self catering. This should be clearly explained before the booking through booking.com. We were not prepared for this and it was not what we expected.

Nicola, the host, was nice and welcoming. She prepared a good breakfast.
The room was dirty, a lot of dust and spider webs, on the windows was something like curtains but very transparent and no chance to sleep longer than 5am.. the flush toilet didn't work properly, the towels were very, very old, and there was no tv in the room.
There was no sign to get to the location.
To overpriced for the conditions offered, I don't recommend.

lovely facilities. amazing and exceptional variety of seeds and nuts, roomy, wonderful touches like the fridge was filled with food and juice. so thoughtful to provide oat milk (thank you)
Too cold and couldn’t find the thermostat. when I thought I found the thermostat I couldn’t get the heating to come on.
The single bed unfortunately wasn’t comfortable. I’m couldn’t work the TV - wouldn’t switch on.

Our room and also the kitchen were very clean. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Great hospitality at this place. Our host made us feel comfortable from the very first minute. We stayed there for one night to continue our roadtrip the other day. Will come again. :)
WiFi could be a bit stronger, but was OK.
