Great historical castle with wonderful staff and excellent food

Great experience staying in historic home. Very clean very comfortable very authentic. Loved the location. Toured lots of castles all within 20 minutes to an hour from Noizy
We had two wonderful dinners at the chateau and then climbed the stairs to bed. Will recommend to all our friends and will come back.
Staff was fantastic!

A superb chateau that brings to life the elegance and richness of its past. The staff were professional and welcoming and always offering to meet your needs and requests. The breakfasts were of excellent assortment and quality. It also had a fine dining restaurant with superb ambiance and food.

It was a cool chateau.
They did not give me the room I paid for.

Amboise) ausreichend Restaurants.

One member of our party was given a completely different room than they had booked, and had to fight with the manager for recompense. Unacceptable.

We liked our bedroom very much and the view and the staff were lovely. They were always very helpful, especially Agata. The grounds are beautiful and well taken care of and the restaurant very good and fairly priced for the quality.
The pool appears to be a little murky, but it was hard to tell if this was because the water was dirty, which it didn’t appear to be or the color the pool is painted. I also would have left to know the prices of some things before hand since they aren’t printed everywhere, for instants, if you should choose to have a drink by the pool or a coffee, but everything was reasonably priced for the hotel, and the restaurant went out of their way to make us both vegetarian meals which were very good

Breakfast good with excellent choice and service
We thought the 45 euro dinner was ok but not special.

Service very good. Very welcoming. Surroundings beautiful.
Restaurant a bit disappointing. Food a bit uninspired. I chose garlic lamb chops. Overcooked and couldn't detect any garlic.

There was a very wide variety of foods available for breakfast which also included some cooked items like eggs and bacon. There were choices of fruit, cheeses, breads, and hams.

The staff was helpful, educated and kind. The castle is well maintained inside and the rooms are OK, nothing really special to say, for being a 5-star stay you would maybe expect a more up-to-date decor and more amenities. The big plus is that the surroundings are beautiful with well maintained gardens and there is a well-maintained climatized pool.
For being a 5 stars hotel there are many things to improve:
-No water is offered for guests at the entrance and no clear indication of where courtesy toilets are.
-The minibar is paid...shocking (it should be offered) - but at least the tap water inside was offered. We appreciated the Nespresso machine and 4 capsules thou, again, nothing special for a 5 stars.
-There were no laundry bags.
-Only one hand soap was offered.
Lets talk about the restaurant now:
I would call it a "tourist trap", let me explain:
There is nothing near by, you might be hungry and tired and then this is the place to go, that's the catch!
We ordered 2 menu plaisir for dinner, 49 EUR each. We received basically IKEA food in more than "small gourmet" portions... a joke really.... No love on the kitchen, nothing special, no decor on plates - the food totally average - you would expect much much more for a 5 stars chateau and specially for that price. In all honesty, we felt robbed.
We were very sorry to see how such a beautiful experience in a nice Chateau could be ruined by a mediocre dinner.
That being said, just please avoid the restaurant at all costs, you've been warned.

Beautiful Chateau staff excellent couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely comfortable and clean room. Breakfast lots of choice . Gardens and pool very relaxing. We loved our stay.
The only small negative the restaurant food was over priced and not that good.

EV Chargers are there and just worked without hassle. The historic building and garden is nicely maintained and really feels like a historic castle. Room spacious. Bed comfy. Breakfast was good
The restaurant for dinner was underwhelming. Waitress was not very competent, poured the white wine before the ice bucket had any chance to cool it down. Courses were okish at best. Desert was really not worth it. I’d stay there and eat somewhere else

Nice-looking château with a lot of history. We had an amazing morning run at the neighbouring vineyard. It was easy to find parking and we were able to charge our Tesla at their Porsche Destination Charger.
Felt a bit worn-down, and the bathtub did not feel completely clean. The restaurant experience was a bit awkward in a dining hall with a lot of empty chairs. By first impression the restaurant came across as quite ambitious, but the food and service did not really meet our expectations. And not really vegetarian-friendly either.

Dinner pretty averaged the service pretty poor

Location is absolutely peaceful. You won't hear any sound at night apart from birds. Great ambience of an old chateau. Staff is amazing, especially Sophie - she goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable! Danke Sophie!!
They say it's a specific weekend when we came, that all the nearest restaurants (not many available at all) were closed. So if you (like us) forget to make a reservation in the chateau for dinner, no chance to eat. Also, without a car it's a bit difficult to reach (don't rely on taxi- they're not reliable))

gorgeous setting, beautiful palace, very friendly and helpful staff, unique experience

Breakfast very limited for the price.
Decor very dated - no shower, bath only. Long walk to bedroom and no lifts. Mini bar had champagne only (in the Vouvray region...??!!). No choice of places to eat so tied to hotel restaurant - which had no atmosphere.. Wines on the list weren't available.

Beautiful castle nested in a cute village next to la Loire. There’s a lot to do and discover. The staff was incredible. Fantastic breakfast and service. We got some amazing recommendations by the team from the best wine in the region to great restaurants. truly one of our best trip with my other half. Thanks again to the staff!!

The hotel staffs are very helpful, breakfast was good, and the room that we booked with winter discount was as expected and shown in the photos. I can recommend this place
Nothing really
