This is a annual reunion with local family. The location is perfect, offers many options. The home is neat and clean. We always enjoy our stay.

Comfortable home in a quiet neighborhood away from noisy tourist areas. Plan on driving to do any sight seeing. Bar Harbor is approx an hour away via car due to traffic and speed limits. A ferry runs from a neighboring town for $20 one way.

We couldn't be happier with our stay. The house was just as described and Pamela thought of every detail to make our stay more comfortable. The town is quaint and yet close to enough to outdoor activities and restaurants. Pamela was responsive and accommodating every step of the way. I honestly can't think of one thing I would change.

We had a great family week at this property in Corea ME.
It was clean, comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, great location. The neighborhood is quiet and the deck is a great place to gather for morning coffee and star gazing at night. We traveled up the coast to Machias to visit family, took the ferry to Bangor, went to Acadia for Cadillac Mountain, some hiked others drove, and Schoodic Peninsula. The owner was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Loved the property and the area.

This cottage provided a home base for us to cook a few meals and wash clothing while we explored the Acadia area (one hour away). Beautiful and very remote feeling in Corea. Nothing nearby for our kids to do, but very pleasant to walk along the road near the harbor. We did get a lot of mosquitos in the house as about half the screen frames are bent up at the bottom, and with no AC you need the windows open in summer. I wore bug spray to bed which helped. Also there are no working smoke alarms in the home and no safe second exit in the upstairs kids room. It was hot in that room as those windows could not be opened, they are in poor condition and let the most mosquitoes in. So our kids slept in the dining room downstairs near us instead.

Property is very comfortable and well-stocked. We chose it to avoid the crowds on MDI. It also gave us an excuse to explore the Schoodic Peninsula and a nice coastal drive to Bar Harbor.
Check-in/out was easy and the host provides an extensive binder of hikes, restaurants, etc in the area.

This was my first experience with a VRBO property. The house is old and needs a little work. However, that did not stop us from enjoying our stay. This home is COMFORTABLE. Pam, the owner, was always prompt in responding to requests. She even had some pet supplies we needed for our dogs:). The area is really quant with a really good local (non tourist) feel. Lots of places to walk and see. Not sure we will be back, there is a lot of this beautiful country to see. But, if we do, we will stay at this home again. Thanks, Pam.

Stayed here over Labor Day weekend with my husband, 8 and 3 year old and my father in law and his girlfriend and the house was a perfect fit for us. Very clean and everything in the kitchen we needed to cook two nice meals. The kids loved the bunk beds and kid books. I enjoyed quiet walks around Corea and reading on the deck. We all enjoyed a visit to the Reverse Tidal Falls and exploring the Schoodic Peninsula part of Acadia National Park.
The host immediately responded when we had a problem with the gas fire pit and even had a person over to fix it within the hour on a holiday weekend. Would stay here the next time we’re visiting.

A great choice for the front end of our Maine vacation, wanting to be nearby Acadia but also enjoy some quiet downtime. Our family of five had plenty of space inside and we also enjoyed the large outdoor space (especially at night). Would certainly recommend for those looking to explore the Schoodic side of Acadia as part of their time.

Home was extremely clean and well appointed with extra blankets, towels and full size washer and dryer. (Loved returning home without a bag full of dirty clothes!)
Kitchen was well stocked with plates, pots, utensils etc. This was perfect for our family to prepare breakfast at "home" before heading out for outdoor activities for the day. (We purchased food and supplies outside or Corea). We walked to our Lobster boat tour and ate at local lobster shack that prepared our lobster caught from tour. It was a fun day.
Beds and home furnishings were very comfortable. We enjoyed lounging in TV room and sitting around dining room table playing board games in the evening.
Pam was quick to respond to messages.
We had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Corea. The house was much larger than pictured and offered a great amount of space for gathering. We enjoyed hanging out in the kitchen and on the large deck! The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful to walk. It took us a little over an hour to get to Acadia but the drive was beautiful. Pam was extremely responsive. I highly recommend staying here and would absolutely stay here again!

We loved our stay at Pam’s home. The village of Corea is a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. The large yard, spacious rooms and well-equipped kitchen made it a great place to stay with kids. Highly recommended and we would look forward to returning day.

My 2 grown kids, dog and I loved the scenic location, the wraparound deck with gates to contain the dog, and the big yard in back for our dog to explore. Was worried about not having air conditioning when we got there in the middle of the night, but once all the windows were opened, the ocean breeze came in, and never was hot again. In fact after coming back from hiking all day, after dark, the air was downright cold. We loved being close to the Scoodic peninsula, part of Acadia which was much less busy but very beautiful. The 50 min drive to the rest of the park, was pleasant due to all the beautiful scenery, and good places to eat dinner on the way back.

Corea, ME is a small, quaint fishing village. We ate fresh lobster on the wharf; only 1 min. walk from our rental. 10 min. walk to the ocean. Saw the sunrise from shore. Schoodic Peninsula is only 15 min. drive. Hiking is family friendly. Views throughout park are amazing. Only 1 hour from the main Acadia National Park.

Clean and comfortable with nice deck and yard. Kids especially liked the wiffle ball set, other yard toys, and smores kit. Weather was foggy and wet but we still had a great time. We really enjoyed our time at Schoodic Point - much more impressive than Thunder Hole on Mt Desert Island portion of Acadia. Host was great with instructions and responsive to all questions.

Very nice place to stay. Had everything we needed and more for 4 adults, 2 kids and 2 dogs.
The wrap around deck was wonderful. We could leave the kids and dogs outside after we blocked the entrances.
Very nice!
