This is our second time staying here and it was a perfect again! Clean, beautiful views, lots of linens, well stocked kitchen, the ice maker and rocking chairs on the deck were our favorites! The guest contact Heather is so sweet and responds so quickly. We will be back!

We returned to Jonesport this year for a vacation 20 years after our first visit and it was everything we remembered. Our choice of this property for our vacation this year was everything we had hoped: a beautiful, quiet haven with all the basic comforts of home and a view that can’t be beat. Some amazing hikes and some tranquil mornings on the deck enjoying the gardens and sunrises were exactly what we needed.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in mid-June; the property was beautiful (as my husband describes it, "this place is magical"); all of the flowers were in bloom and my husband, being a birdwatcher, loved all of the different species of birds that he was able to spot here....we even saw a bald eagle flying over the water! We purchased a bag of sugar so that we could fill up the hummingbird feeder and that was amazing to see them come to feed....we left the sugar in the cabinet, so that the next guests could keep the feeder filled for these little guys! We had a wonderful stay and hope to be back some day!

Booked this as a surprise get away ling weekend for my wife and I. Pictures do the view no justice. We did explore some of downeast maine but would have been content to just sit and watch the ocean from the back porch. Will definitely come back. Tranquility at its finest.

This cottage was the perfect get away! Definitely the best location for a relaxing quiet sort of vacation. The sunrises are spectacular!

At first I was nervous because the cottage is on a main road. However, when you pull in, it is a wonderfully hidden away with a glorious view of the ocean! The cottage is cozy and comfortable, it is slightly dated but it is clean. But the porch and the sweet, well manicured yard is what makes this home stand out! There is a stairway down to the rocks and when the tide is out you can walk along the rocks to a sandbar and walk out to a small island. However, if you were looking for a place to relax and enjoy your family, it is fantastic! The weather wasn't perfect while we were there, but we took a quick trip to Beales Island and found some nice hiking trails. We brought our dog and the yard is fenced in which made us feel very safe. There were plenty of puzzles and games for the foggy rainy day. We would definitely return to this cottage!

This place was amazing. If you are looking for a quintessential Maine vacation, off the beaten path, with great views, this is the place for you. It is located on a small cliff overlooking the bay. Direct access to the water. We kayaked and fished which was fun. You can walk out to an island right in front of the place during low tide. Jonesport is a small town, mainly focussed on lobstering and fishing. Beautiful views, fresh lobster roles around. There is also a sandy beach about 0.5 miles away which is free and worth relaxing on. The owners of the place were super hospitable and helpful. Highly highly recommend. 5 stars.

My sister and stayed up here for a few days with my dog and it was great. They had everything we needed to enjoy our time, the beds were super comfortable and the views were fantastic! We enjoyed watching the lobster boats in the early morning, watching the seal come hangout on the rocks once they left, and going off to see some of the lighthouses. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your lovely house with us!

Beds were comfortable, the place has all the amenities anyone would need. Only downside if you have a larger family (5 or 6) and you all want to take a shower at the same time, they you run out of hot water, but that doesn't impact the overall rating. Great place to stay.

Such a beautiful home right on the ocean. Couldn’t have been happier with our stay.
