Mature Couple 4 night stay

Location is excellent being 50mtrs from the main street in Dumfries. Lots of hot water, shower very good. Comfortable apartment. Nice full complimentary basket. Bread & milk was appreciated. Thanks for a lovely stay. Parking was always available if a bit tight sometimes.

The external stairs to the apartment from Dobies Wynd is not suitable for limited mobility people.

Enjoyable but some issues!

Comfortable warm and well equipped. Central location.

Very noisy location. Rough area. Lots of shooting and loud music. Friday and Sat. Found blood on one of the beds!

Exceeded our expectations and would highly recommend x

The apartment was equipped with absolutely everything we needed (and more). Everything inside was spotless and we were surprised with all the ‘essentials’ that were left for us - bread, butter, milk, biscuits, list goes on…. I would not hesitate to recommend this host - don’t be put off by what you see outside because inside was spot on!

Would’ve been easier to get the postcode of the ‘street’ at the back where we had to park as the sat nav took us round in circles and it is all one way. The bunk bed room was a little noisy at night with the hotel directly opposite but that wasn’t an issue for us - might be if you were travelling with children.

Fantastic Apartment

The flat is amazing everyrthing you could possiably want with all the extras toiletrys, coffee,tea buiscuts even bread and milk couldn't believe it also everything on your door step will defo be back Thankyou

Excellent and would recommend.

Immaculate and very high standard of everything from kitchen utensils to toiletries. Even a Nespresso machine with capsules! Milk, bread,biscuits,crisps - never had that before. So central. Easy access for shopping, buses and restaurants and cafes.

Outside area a bit grim but all was forgiven when we got inside!

Very thoughtful hosts. Great central location, spotlessly clean, comfortable modern apartment.

On arrival we were surprised and delighted to find a lovely welcome pack of fresh bread and pint of milk and butter in the fridge. A very thoughtful touch especially as we arrived later than expected and had not been to a shop. The kitchen contained everything you would need from tea bags, condiments, spices to cooking oil, tinfoil etc. the apartment was spotless, very modern and comfortable and beds were extremely comfortable. As check out was 11am and our coach home was not until 3pm, the hosts very kindly let us leave our luggage to collect 2pm. There is a little bit of noise from the shops/pubs outside but located in the middle of the town, it is to be expected. You do have to climb quite a few stairs to get upstairs for entry to the apartment so maybe not suitable for anyone with mobility probs. Would 100% definitely recommend.

Lovely

The apartment was decorated to a high standard with a beautiful kitchen , it had all we needed for a short visit inc, cooking oil, milk bread,butter,tea and coffe and snacks.

The heating was on a timer in the eve and for the end of July, it was not necessary, we turned the thermostat and all the radiators which we could down , but the apartment got very warm, maybe a fan or something similar to allow air flow would be great .

Lovely stay and lovely people who run the place.

The property was lovely. Very modern decor and comfortable. There was a lovely smell in the place. The bathroom was amazing. Kitchen was well equipped. The location was just perfect. Close to all amenities.

I think that the only thing that the property would benefit from is black out blinds or curtains.

I was very happy with everything in the flat,the shower was powerful and clean,was the best accommodation that I have stayed at in years,very up to date accommodation in a central location with everything at your doorstep

Presented very well & very comfortable set up with everything & more than we expected. Bathroom was great, unit well heated & had a good supply of clean linen. A great

Negotiating the stairs wasn’t great for me being older, my daughter had no issue. Wished we could have opened the windows for some fresh air. Suggest perhaps a washer/dryer would be handy for travellers as there aren’t many laundrettes around.

Modern, warm, clean, well equipped flat right in the centre of Dumfries.

Excellent location, right in the centre of Dumfries, next to coffee shops, restaurants. Free parking right next to the property. Shaun gave very clear instructions on where to park and how to collect the keys. Great communication throughout.

The access to the property is rather run down and you have to climb an external staircase to get to the flat. The outside light was broken so it was pretty dark but the owner does plan to have this fixed.
