We didn't get to do much my great-granddaughters appendix busted. Had to take her to the hospital and then two of us got sick with diarrhea. But the overall stay was beautiful

Having seen the 3 star average in the ratings for this property I almost didn't book it. What a gigantic mistake that would have been. We loved our stay in this aging but clean and comfortable house. The beds were comfortable. The refrigerator looked new and worked fine and we had no problems with the TV and Roku. We loved the funky restaurant booth which was a perfect place to enjoy breakfast. There is tons of room in the house. We enjoyed roasting hot dogs and making s'mores on the fire pit. The crown jewel of this property is the pool. It is amazing! The pool itself is big and well maintained. The water was clear and free of debris. The pool area has a shelter that gave us shade when sitting outside the pool. There is a pool house that has a working sink and toilet (no treks to the house to go to the bathroom!!). We spent more time enjoying the pool than sightseeing. I would rent this house again just to have the use of the pool. I found this property as a whole to be clean, comfortable, and fun. It definitely earned these five stars.

The house was big enough for all 9 of us, but needs lots of work.

Plenty of room... Beds needed to have mattress's felt like sleeping on a box springs. Some were better than others. Hot tub was not in working order. Overall it was enjoyable place to stay!!

We read some reviews the week before we arrived and all talked about the refrigerators not working and having to throw out their food. My husband contacted Vacasa to ask about the refrigerator and was told that they had replaced the kitchen fridge with a new one. When we arrived this was not true. The old fridge was warm and smelled. My husband contacted Vacasa and they told us they would bring us 2 mini fridges the next day, which they did. However, the kitchen was not usable if you can't store food in the fridge. The mini fridges were only good for drinks and milk for my grandson.
The beds, pillows, blankets and decor are from the 70's. The pool was nice, but we had to rent chairs to sit on by the pool. The chairs there were either broken or very uncomfortable. The stone slabs are uneven and dangerous without shoes. The deck has splinters. The hot tub is broken and there was only one pool stick for the pool table.
The owners of this home really need to update to make it worth the stay. The photos on the website are from many years ago and do not represent the condition of the home as it is today.

Refrigerator did not work. No updates since it was built.

When we first arrived, the code provided for the door was incorrect and we spent some time on hold before being provided a new code to. After that everything continued to go down hill. There were two refrigerators in the house - neither of them worked. The fridge in the mudroom was broken (it was hotter in the fridge than in the house) so we put all our groceries in the kitchen fridge. There was no ice/water line to the fridge to make ice so I filled the one ice tray provided and hoped for the best. The next morning, we found out that the fridge in the kitchen didn't work either. All of our meat went brown overnight due to the broken fridge. We had to toss all our groceries and shove everything into the semi working freezer which couldn't get cold enough to make ice - but could at least keep the new meat fresh.
There were 2 televisions available but only 1 worked (a hard situation with multiple kids). All of the furniture was incredibly worn out & uncomfortable. All of the dishes, glassware & kitchen supplies were mismatched and looked like they had been supplied with various yard sales. We were informed after booking that the hot tub which was available at the time of booking was no longer available, this is understandable - but the room it was located in also had a pool table with broken pool cues making it pretty difficult to enjoy that feature as well
Renter beware - the pool is great and that all this place truly has to offer.

There are 2 refrigerators and neither worked. We had to throw out hundreds of dollars in food because everything in the freezer melted and the refrigerator was barely above warm not keeping anything cold, only one TV worked, the other the Roku just had the wheel of death spinning and there was no remote for it. There were no working pool sticks for the pool table, just 4 halves that nOne of them screwed together. The pool was nice but no way to turn the outside lights on so as soon as it got dark you had to get out. The house needs some updates but it’s a pretty cool house. It is , however, overpriced for the houses condition.

Great place for many guests to spread out and relax. We spent our whole time in the pool and eating out. Bring coolers as the fridge/freezer wasn’t keeping things ice cold.
3.0 / 5.0
Dated, air conditioning didn’t cool off house for a day, wrong code to get in and took 15 minutes to get a hold of some to help. Very low water pressure. Saw bugs and had bites.
4.0 / 5.0
Spacious, pretty views, nice kitchen and master suite. Needs more parking and maintenance. Another bath in downstairs bedroom area would be nice.
