The hotel looks newly remodeled. Very clean. The pool and hot tub is a nice size and very clean.
The continental breakfast was very good. A lot of good healthy choices. That area was spotless as well. The staff is very friendly. The mattress and pillows were comfortable. They have a shuttle to get to Mayo Clinic and surrounding if staying for that.

Breakfast was good
The room next door was soooo loud. The heat was very loud when it turned on. Had to move rooms since Netflix would not work.
3.0 / 5.0
good food and cleanliness
good service
lock for door was poor --not consistently working. Many trips to lobby to get help when key card didn't work. Once fixed, it didn't maintain accessibility.
wood panel under TV in bedroom had fallen off
needed lightbulb in kitchen area
garbage left under the sink in kitchen area when we arrived
not enough lotion for 3 guests in the Suite
not daily servicing with linens for 3 guests for 3 days
it was a busy weekend of basketball tournament families but often the lobby was left with messy floor and tables---lobby pleasant and inviting but we often had to clean up a table top & get a stop without chips on the floor.

Very nice room, everything was clean and new!
Other guests hanging out in the parking lot late at night and early morning smoking marijuana.

The rooms were gorgeous and had everything I needed. The pool was also wonderful. I appreciated not being in the heart of downtown, but right along some of the main arteries, in order to get to the places I needed to go, all around the outskirts of the city.
A tiny concern is the construction that was going on when I was there, but I understand that is likely not in the hotel’s control, and even if it is, that’s probably something that is necessary. It only made arriving and parking a little confusing, but then I figured it out.
However, something else I noticed that was a bit bothersome was that the TV didn’t always play what I wanted it to; I tried playing HBO Max (free to guests) and it wouldn’t play (perhaps because HBO Max just merged and became somewhat of a new platform, named Max). I did get Showtime (also free to guests) to play on my first night there, but then, when I tried playing it the next night, it wouldn’t play at all. There were also some TV channels that I could click on, but then nothing would play — no video or audio. It was as if those channels were blocked or something; if so, that would be confusing, because they appeared on the TV guide. Only a small inconvenience, though.
