The special touches they did with things to make us feel welcome and at home and helped us find where we were going. They had towels folded like various animals it brought a smile to my face I had never seen this and loved it.
Bathroom could have been cleanser there was quite a bit of random hair. The fridge was extremely noisy and I had to unplug it to sleep

The room was clean, and the beds were comfortable. We were in an accessible room, the bathroom having a roll in shower, and grab bars. Decorating the bathroom were a towel elephant, rabbits, and fancy fan, which the housekeeper had made:
Breakfast was great! There were eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal juices and milk. The breakfast room even had books to read and board games for guests to play.
A shuttle, which ran on a regular daily schedule, took us to and from the Mayo Clinic for appointments.
They had an outlet on one side for plugging in an electrical cord to heat our car’s engine while it was extremely cold outside.
The hotel has a coin-operated washer and dryer for guests. They sell small boxes (for one load) at the front desk.
To get to the parking place with an outlet to plug in the car’s engine heater, we had to walk down an incline with patches of ice and snow. My husband’s knees don’t work well, and it was hard for him to get up and down the incline.
Our room was close to the front desk—and the hotel laundry. We could hear the washers and dryers running on the other side of the wall. It wasn’t loud, nor running constantly.

The breakfast was terrific, and it was warm and they had waffles and eggs and bacon and cereal and donut balls they had everything you wanted and they were fresh. It was very clean coffee was good the coffee was available all day long with hot cocoa and tea. I had to check out but had another Appointmekeepnt & they let me keep my suitcase in the office until I was done and my ride came. I was able to watch TV while I waited in the breakfast area.
The one thing that was difficult was the shuttle that comes to Econo Lodge between Mayo Clinic and St Mary's Hospital period he was very different he made you feel very uncomfortable and he seemed very argumentative. I was waiting for the bus I got there at7:30 in the morning it was supposed to leave at 7:40 and then while I was waiting another lady came in and she was taking the same bus to Mayo and it never arrived so he called and I heard him talking to him and the desk person said yeah I thought I saw you earlier and he had come parked waited and left and he said you got in the car he said I waited for till7:40 to pick you up and that was the true and the lady told him that too that we were here at that time and there was no bus here no bus left. Luckily he came back.

I liked the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The staff was very friendly. It was a nice quite room with parking readily
available. I will definitely be staying here again. as the location was perfect.
How high up the heater/air conditioning unit was on the wall. Made it difficult to get the room heated up. This is one thing that will not detour me from staying here again.

The continental breakfast was better than the norm, which was a plus! It is about a 7 minute ride to the Mayo Clinic. The price per night was decent, especially when comparing to similar hotels. I liked having the fridge and microwave available in the room, especially when staying for multiple days. Loved that there is a light sheet that goes on top of the comforter, felt much more sanitary. The towel animals were so cute!!
The beds are very firm, making it difficult to get comfortable. The room could use small fixes, like the sink needs to be unclogged, air conditioner wouldn’t stay on consistently, can’t type in numbers in on tv. The staff was nice, but more often than not had an “away from the desk” sign up.

The beds/pillows were very comfortable, and breakfast was good.
The TV kept pixelating and the front desk said they were still replacing tv's. The lower channels were known to do this but we weren't on a lower channel. It finally went away

I stay here everytime I have an appointment at Mayo Clinic. The shuttle bus makes it so convenient to get to the clinic. I also appreciate the hot breakfast and continual supply of coffee. The staff is always very helpful and friendly.
