This contemporary, yet cozy and elegant looking bungalow is located just blocks south of the heart of Broadripple! It’s also conveniently located 17 minutes away from the liveliness of downtown, Massachusetts Avenue, Lucas Oil Stadium, and the Indianapolis Convention Center. The Indianapolis airport is roughly 22 minutes away, depending on traffic.
This house is a wonderful place for families coming to town, individuals here for business or conventions, or just people wanting to have a place to visit fiends or host a get-together! It has unique touches in every room and a very warm feeling throughout.
Guests have access to the entire house and the backyard! The only area in the backyard that is shared with the neighbor is the basketball court. But if you plan on having a little event/get together in the backyard, let me know and I can tell our neighbors so you’ll have full access to the court!
I’m available for texting, calling, or in person if you need me!
The neighborhood is wonderful! Great safe place to walk around and enjoy yourself and the scenery. Large grocery store and delicious restaurants less than a block away! Including the famous Jazz Kitchen. Also enjoy some of the laid back bars in the area! Amazing atmosphere right down the street!
Street parking right in front of the house! Don’t worry about transportation with the recently built Redline bus system which picks you up less than half a block down the street. Hop on it for just $1.75 and take it up north to Broadripple or south to Mass Ave and Downtown! If you didn't feel like bringing a vehicle, you could use Uber and the Redline to get everywhere you need!
The pet fee shown is only for one pet for two nights. After that the pet fee increases for the amount of pets and how many nights you are staying! Just so you know!

- Quiet hours are from 11pm to 8am
- If the smell of weed in the house occurs when our cleaners come to clean, a $200 FINE will be charged immediately.

We had a great time visiting for the Olympic swim trials and this house was the perfect fit for us! The owner was responsive and very nice! I would definitely stay here again! A very safe area for families!

Stayed 2 nights for a wedding. The house was clean and easy to access. Very convenient and spacious for our family of 6. Be aware that the road is set up in a way that you need to drive in heading south on College Ave. Not a big deal just something to be aware of

What a great neighborhood and place! Will be back.

I loved the location. The neighborhood is really awesome with great restaurants. The Fresh Market was awesome too - just at the end of the block.
The house is old. I feel that might be the reason for some of the cleanliness comments on past reviews.
There were guests on the other side of the duplex, but we never heard them. I don’t think they heard us either.
The beds were also very comfy!
We had a small issue and the host was very responsive. We will stay again (if we are ever in the area again).

House was as described, very cozy and owner was accommodating and communication was excellent. Loved the neighborhood as well!

They advertise it as a house and strategically take pictures to where you can’t see that it is a shared duplex. Which is misleading. They wait until the day before your visit to hit you with the fact that it is a duplex, and a slew of rules to abide by. If you are traveling with kids, this is not a kid friendly property as we were afraid for them to make any noise due to the ridiculous amount of money we’d have to pay if there was a noise complaint.
They also say that there is a neighbor next door, but we found out that the neighbor is also a BnB guest. He came over because he too was afraid to get a noise complaint because they told them we were the neighbors as well.
The house was dirty when we arrived. The dish rack had water build up on it, the shower looked like it had mud in it, the upstairs bathroom door handle gets stuck and you can’t get out of it, the bathtub itself chips, so you can’t give your child a bath in it…there were cobwebs/spiderwebs under the bed in the basement… I found that out when I put it down for our kids to sleep on.
The only positives about this place was the size of our part of the duplex, the convenient location, communication between Luke and myself, and the backyard.

The property had everything we needed for our Christmas trip. When we walked in, there was even a small Christmas tree! What a lovely detail😊. We traveled to Indianapolis often since we have family there, we will definitely stay over again.

We had 9 people stay here for the weekend. The house is located in a great neighborhood and the neighbors were very friendly, ( I actually had to borrow a cup of flour lol). We walked to the local bar/restuarant down the street. The only thing I would have changed would have been the cleanliness of the back yard. There are alot of trees which provides great shade but it also leaves a mess on the furniture out there. Maybe think of putting a plastic covering over it so it can be easily removed. Also there was not enough wash clothes available for all 9 of us. Otherwise we had a great stay.

We loved the proximity to the State Fairgrounds (where we had a competition) and Fresh Market. Our property managers were very responsive to our needs.

The property owner was very responsive. Property is 'as listed' and accurate. Small touches made the stay easier - bus line, walking distance to restaurant(s), grocery, etc.

Safe neighborhood. Can walk to restaurants & bars. Convenient to a lot of things in Indy. Had everything we needed including a kerig coffee bar. Loved the backyard with a fire pit. Would stay again

Though the building was older, it offered everything needed for a comfortable stay. The coffee bar was a huge plus! Would book again. :)

Great historic home. Very clean and plenty of room for a family of 4. Comfy beds and safe neighborhood. Strong incense odor throughout the house that might be pleasant for some but was too much for us. Just needed to unplug all the air fresheners and we were good. Would stay again!

This is a very old house, so I understand that the fixtures and electrical are dated and I'm not including that in this review. The hosts did provide power strips in every bedroom and the living room, so that was a plus. The home is in good shape and has some nice touches as well. However, 2 of the 3 bedrooms had only beds and small nightstands in them. Where do people put their belongings? We had issues with both toilets - the owner got one fixed the first day and the other was fixed a few days later. I was literally TRAPPED in the main bedroom for 30 minutes the first morning because the doorknob was broken. I finally got out by using a butter knife to move the bolt piece. The doorknob was also fixed the first day. The backyard and patio furniture in the backyard were not usable, so putting that in the description of amenities seems a bit misleading. The chairs and patio swing were stained and/or broken. The lawn was in desperate need of mowing. The kitchen had plates, bowls and glasses for use, but limited silverware which was actually "child size" - so that was very frustrating. Thank goodness I brought my own cookware - the ones provided were so scratched up and old, I doubt any of our meals would have turned out very well had I used them. The neighborhood is lovely and there was plenty of parking available.

If you ever need an amazing place to stay with a great location and AWESOME hosts, then this is THE place! Luke and Zack were the best hosts we have ever had and we travel ALOT! This will definitely be our go to place for our yearly trips to Indy. Great restaurants are in walking distance ( I highly recommend Twenty Tap. The burgers and Mahi Mahi are excellent!), there is a Fresh Market as well, the neighbors were so nice and helpful, and the neighborhood is clean and safe! If I could give more stars, I would!!

Cute place, loved walks to grocery, meals, and drinks. Comfortable beds, lovely backyard. Would definitely stay again. Old house so quirky set up, back door, outlet situation. But a fun place!

Great stay! Nice older, clean home in quaint neighborhood. Beds were comfortable and clean! Would stay again!
4.0 / 5.0
Well-cared for home and property. Older home. So fewer outlets, quirky light switch locations and back door location. Heavy flow of traffic on street made parking car, and exiting and climbing into car a bit of a challenge. Great neighborhood restaurants within easy walking distance.

The house was in a great location and was very functional. We love older homes and the built-ins are very charming. The house was a very nice size and layout. Our 10 year old loved the air hockey and darts. We could not get the Wii to work for gaming. The kitchen was well equipped and the yard was great, off-street parking was nice. The only drawback was the cleanliness of the property. There is some mildew in the upstairs bath and cobwebs toys and debris under the furniture. Our child rolled a ball under the sofa and it was really unclean. We had to re-wash the dishes in the cupboard to use. Having a small dishwasher would really help, trusting guests to thoroughly wash dishes for the next guests doesn't work, there were bits of dried food on most of the dishes. The platform to the basement and side door springs when you step on it which was concerning. The dressers and night stands had chipped paint and kitchen and bathroom counters and tiles are very dated. The property would be a 5 star rental with a deep clean and some bathroom and kitchen updates.

This was the perfect home base for us while visiting family in Indy. Comfortable, welcoming and charming! The location is great -- a walkable neighborhood with bars, restaurants and a great grocery store less than 5 minutes away. We especially appreciated the fully fenced back yard for our happy dog. We'll be back!

This place was very cute and clean. The location is really good too. Close enough to the Broadripple action but still quiet and we had no problems with parking. It looks small but has 3 bedrooms and a basement so it was plenty of room for the six of us. We would definitely stay there again!

We had a terrific time. The house was charming and it had a fenced in yard so our pups could be outside with us.

Great location, nice older neighborhood. Restaraunts, bars, grocery within walking distance. Well maintained older house in a clean, quiet neighborhood
3.0 / 5.0
The property location is awesome. The place was completely unlocked when we arrived. Nobody had bothered to sweep or blow away the leaves blocking the front walkway. The place hadn’t really been cleaned so the upstairs rugs were full of leaf matter. The upstairs bathroom had somebody’s used razor hanging in the soap scum coated shower caddy. I had to put away somebody else’s dishes in the kitchen before I could even make a snack for us. It could be a nice place if the people who owned it actually checked it out before they rented it.

I rented this house for our adult nephews in from California for their cousin's wedding. They each had their own bedroom and shared the 1.5 bathrooms. It was walkable to a great grocery store and and places to eat and drink. They greatly enjoyed the autonomy of setting their own hours and not bothering anyone when they stayed up late gaming. It was their first experience in a rental 'whole house' and loved it! I think if they had stayed longer they might have made use of the great backyard, but there were lots of family meals elsewhere. Their host was very helpful and the house was everything we needed and more.

This cute little house was perfect for our girl's weekend group. We loved cooking meals together, having several streaming platforms available to watch movies, and a nice bonfire over our weekend away. There were plenty of places nearby to shop and eat although we opted to mainly lounge around the house and backyard to enjoy some much needed downtime! Our host, Luke, was very responsive when we needed anything.

We loved this house! It was conveniently located to all of the different areas in town and had some great restaurants within walking distance! Our kids loved the air hockey table and the basketball goal. It was a great house for our family vacation

We really enjoyed our time in Indy. This house is older but so cute and comfortable. They make excellent use of the space, the game room downstairs was a great bonus. The backyard was inviting and relaxing. The neighborhood is quiet, safe, and family friendly but lively with people walking their dogs or walking to shops and restaurants. Communication with the owner was quick and easy. We loved it and would definitely stay here again. 10/10

My family and I absolutely loved this property! We loved the neighborhood and the grocery store that was literally 3 min. away. It was very easy to get into the city via Uber and we had access to public transportation as well. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

The property was well maintained and within walking distance from some fantastic restaurants and bars. Luke was very fast to respond to any questions. Overall a fantastic experience!

This place is surprising! The backyard is the best! 10/10 would recommend

For those looking to try a VRBO rental, I'd recommend this as long as you don't have too many people. 3 bedrooms, 2 fold outs, 2 bathrooms, small but good kitchen and a REALLY nice neighborhood. Walking distance to a deli grocery, gyro place and several bars.
A bit of a drive from downtown but it very easy to get there. Bus line but we didn't use it.
This was slightly more expensive than a hotel room for our duration but it was completely worth it for the extra privacy and space of a house rental.
Nice backyard, basement and laundry which we also didn't use.
Bottom line: A cute little half cottage that would be excellent for a family gathering. No parties allowed but you have several bars within staggering distance.
If possible, we will rent next year again.

Luke was easy to communicate with, provided helpful info at the house, and is generous in what amenities are included!
