Pictures were deceiving… We arrived, and the overall appearance of the home did not look as it did in photos. The house was not a level of clean we expected. It seemed spot cleaned and certainly not dusted or professionally cleaned. Carpet was visibly soiled. We found a roach under one bed. We could not use the patio furniture because it was heavily soiled/stained. We had to buy our own dish sponge. The master door knob was faulty and required a second person to let you out from the outside. Inadequate silverwear/glasswear as if stocked with leftover utensils and glasses at random. Expected K-pods or at least filters that fit the coffee maker- not provided. Hot tub not clean with a ring of dirt around the sides. We attempted to enjoy the fire pit at night and eat outside but were met with tons of roaches scurrying everywhere. It was not a pleasant stay.

The barbecue, pool table and air conditioning were great! We enjoyed the hot tub every night

Everything was bad experience, especially the grill in patio was the worst condition; never cleaned for long time, unable to use it.

It was a very pleasant experience for our family of 6 (2 adults, 2 young age kids, 3 and 6 and 2 elderly in 70s)
We stayed two nights for our Joshua Tree NP visit, the location was great, the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The host communicated every single detail prior to our trip and followed up right after. Easy check in and check out. The beds were comfortable. We slept in all three rooms and were happy about the quality of the bedding.
We loved pretty much everything the property had to offer. The garage was converted to a game room and kids had plenty of fun after hikes in the park. The hottub is properly located -- relaxing in the hot water meanwhile looking up at the stars, perfect!
Talking about looking up at the stars -- we were hoping that we could enjoy the dark sky from the backyard, however apparently the town of JT was too bright so we ended up going back to the park to get the dark sky treatment. It's not the host's fault obviously.
Again we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to come back if we visit JTNP again! Thanks for hosting us!

We had an amazing long weekend at the perfectly appointed Boho Haus. The decor and style was hip, cool and lovely with lots of natural light throughout. Clean with a big, well appointed kitchen. Communication was A+ from beginning to end. Beds and pillows were very comfortable, which is very important to us.
Unfortunately, our weekend was cold and rainy but thankfully we had the GAME room to keep us entertained as well as a nice newer TV and large kitchen table for games and puzzles. Kitchen had all you need although I did communicate with Host that some items in the kitchen could use an update and to provide hand towels or paper towels. We would definitely return again.

This is an older home that has been updated with nice appliances, kitchen cabinetry and countertops. So on the surface the kitchen is lovely. The pots and pans looked like they came from a garage sale, complete with scraped teflon coating. The kitchen table top was in very poor condition perhaps a good will find? There were holes in the walls, bathroom cabinets coming off the hinges, stained carpet. The dryer was missing the door handle, how are you supposed to use that?? The hot tub was wonderful with a beautiful starry night. It was adequate for our one night stay, with clean sheets and towels, just had to make do with the limited pans for dinner.

We enjoyed our stay! It was nicely located to restaurants (highly recommend Joshua Tree Coffee and Sky High Pie), shops.

We loved the house and location. Great space and lovely decor. I left a message for the owner while there about getting more kitchen towels and wine glasses (there were only 3 but there were four of us), but we never heard back. It was really ok considering it was Super Bowl weekend, I get it. The shower door in the master isn't the correct size, so water sprays out onto the floor. Its a bummer that they only way to get out to the back is through the back bedroom which is a bummer for whoever stays in that room. Overall, we liked the place. Thank you

The Boho Haus was a great place to stay for our Joshua Tree trip. Excellent location near entrance to park and up on the hill so the backyard view was more private. Backyard patio, fire pit and jacuzzi were all enjoyable places to hang out. The house was clean and stocked with plenty of towels/soap/coffee/tea. If you are planning on cooking a detailed meal, the kitchen could have used more baking pans/bowls, etc. and wine glasses would be nice. The game room was an added surprise for us and supplied well. We would definitely return. Thanks!

Lovely property. Great hot tub. Easy access in and out with electronic lock. Bedrooms are spacious. Smart TV worked great. Smart refrigerator is great, we could play our music through it for the house. We really appreciated having a pool table and arcade game for the kids and the car charging for the adults! Easy location to get to town and National Park. We had a lovely, no fuss, 2 day get away!

A couple of my friends and I decided to get together to visit Joshua Tree National Park and stargaze. We across Grant's property and instantly knew that was the one! Super close to the park and very modern looking! Had a terrific weekend and would definitely come back to visit again and spend the weekend at Grant's.

Overall, this was a great place to stay for our family for one night at Joshua tree national park. The location was very close to the park entrance, and the owner had great communication. I did wish the kitchen was a little more stocked with things like baking pans and wine glasses, but we were able to make do. There were a few things that were damaged (like broken cornhole boards) compared to what we saw on the listing, but I assume they had very recently happened, and the owner said they were going to address them. Nothing was major that impacted our stay, and the house was very clean. Overall everything was great and I’d recommend staying here for a trip to JTNP. The pack n play was great for us to have for a baby in our group, so thank you!! we did not realize the “den” was also the garage. We initially thought the baby could sleep in there, but because it’s not climate controlled we had to find another place to put him, but it all worked out.

6 of my friends decided to stay in Joshua Tree for some next level star gazing. The property is located just a few minutes from the national park entrance and also the main road coming in and out of JT. The grounds were spacious and gave us plenty of outside seating options! We enjoyed sitting on the patio and taking in the amazing sunsets! Thanks for providing your home as a nice weekend respite!

We (2 couples) stayed in this house for 1 night while traveling through various southern California cities on vacation. We selected the house due to its proximity to Joshua Tree National Park. It is a very short drive to the Joshua Tree visitor center as well as the west entrance to the park. We checked in at 4 pm and left almost immediately to start off for a sunset hike. We returned back and had a very comfortable night's rest in the house before checking out in the AM. The owner had great communication and has a home manual which answers pretty much any question you could have. We followed some of his dining and hike suggestions which were all great.
The house is in a neighbor which is a little eclectic as you'd expect in Joshua Tree. We were visiting from Virginia and my impression was that many of the Joshua Tree lodging options were camping or motels. I was delighted to find this cute little house as an alternative and it was clean, quiet and perfect for our needs.

After a day of hiking, we checked in after dark. We found a light switch in the kitchen and was delighted by the decor. The kitchen is clean, nice, modern and provided for everything we needed to cook meals and clean afterwards. The backyard is large and has ample of seating area to hang out. We relaxed in the hot tub under the stars. The garage was a nice surprise. It was converted to a play room with a ping pong and pool tables. Also, with seating area to hang out. The beds were very comfortable. The bedding and pillow were very cozy and provided a good night's rest. During the day, the light throughout the house was bright and provided a good cheer upon our departure.
