Schöne Villa in toller Lage

Schön ruhig im Wald gelegen

Schwer zu finden. Die in Booking angegebene Adresse wird von Google Maps nicht erkannt und man muss eine Alternative finden um den Ort zu finden. An unserem Anreisetag war es nach dem Regen recht kalt geworden. Dadurch war das ganze Haus durch die Kühle nicht so gemütlich. Im Zimmer wurde weder im Bad noch im Zimmer der Heizkörper warm

Ok aber für den Preis etwas Besseres erwartet.

Die Lage war sehr gut. Das Hotel war ruhig gelegen mir tollem Ausblick.

Die Gastgeberin erschien uns etwas unfreundlich. Wir waren vom Frühstück enttäuscht. Mitten in der Toskana hätte ich mir toskanische Spezialitäten gewünscht. Die Toskana ist für genialen Schinken, Salami und besten Käse berühmt. Leider gab es sowas nicht. Normale Wurst wie aus jedem Netto Markt Deutschland gab es. Auf dem Zimmer könnte zum Beispiel auch ein Wasserkocher und Tee bzw. Kaffee stehen. Als wir wegen sehr schlechtem Wetter gezwungen waren im Hotel zu bleiben hätten wir wenigstens gern was zu trinken gehabt. Lobenswert wären auch weichere Kissen.

Defitnitely a place to visit and come back. Calmness, great view, good food, nice smell,pure leisure

Wonderful breakfasts, everyone will find something tasty. High quality products. Drinks and food available during rest of the day (check dinner hours). The view from terrace is great. Location is just as described - in a cozy place, among trees, hidden from the noise, but nearby towns and attractions are easily accessible with a car. Nice, helpful owners, available all the time and everything around, including the swimming pool and the garden, is very well kept and clean

I didn't like that we had to go back home. No AC, but ventilator and window shades totally did the work even during heat

A stay in Tuscan paradise

This is a little piece of paradise in a stunning area of Tuscany. What a find. The views are amazing, the villa is very authentic with traditional furniture. Big rooms and common spaces. Lovely modern pool and plenty of spaces to relax on outdoor chairs, benches, even hammocks! So relaxing. Wish I could have stayed for a week!

Superb

The villa is located in a quiet location and provides a swimming pool, two terraces, a small bar, and a parking lot. An ideal place to relax. At the same time, it is not far from traditional Tuscan villages, wineries and restaurants within a few minutes' drive.

Great breakfast, lovely view, great location, our host was really nice and made our stay really great. The pool and view was awesome. We can only recommend this Villa (car would be advisable since it is in this beautiful location a bit outside, however the next village is very near).

the opposite of Italian hospitality and quality of life!

staff very unfriendly, quality of the breakfast is appalling, internet connection not existing, room facility less than basic, room wan never cleaned during our 5 nights stay but only beds made up, no fresh sheets, no fresh towels. The owner is very unpolite and he will not hide it. He will make you feel unwelcome. The way he answers any question sounds like he is telling you off. He has absolutely no manners. On arrival (midnight), instead of allowing us to park in front of the hotel to unload, he sent us to the car park, about 150meter of country road away from the hotel. Bags could not be rolled but had to be carried as the road is unpaved. Breakfast is a collection of the cheapest and scrappiest food they find locally. It is the same day after day, after day. I would not be surprised it is recycled. There is basically no internet. You will be watching at a blank screen on your phone hoping that the signal would magically be received but it won't so we gave up. If you can't even connect to your home page forget about working from there! The room and bathroom were never cleaned, we could tell from the accumulated dust on the floor, the scale accumulated on the sink and shower during the 5 days we were there. They will simply make the bed without changing the sheets for the all week. No air conditioning but just an old floor standing fan to survive the hot Italian nights. Forget about having ice to cool out your boiling drinks as the room has not fridge. They don't provide it. They don't provide anything. Thank you Villa Sant'Uberto, unforgettable stay!

Great view

Country house located in the countryside and near Castellina di Chianti. Stunning view from the terrace. Large swimming pool but cold. We spotted some wildlife. Awesome and huge breakfast served on the terrace. Very clean rooms. I suggest you have dinner in Castellina du Chianti.

Extremely noisy bedroom with no soundproofing. Impression to sleep with the neighbour. Very military organisation with authoritarian manager. Many rules to follow on the area. I had the impression to disturb her anytime. Restaurant nearby closed. Drive to Castellina for better choice.

We had a very comfortable stay here. The rooms were nice and spacious and there was a lot of different places on the property where you were able to sit and relax. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location and views were fantastic!

Beautiful villa in the hills with a spectacular view. We booked a room and got a nice apartment with kitchen. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated.

The bed was a bit bumpy, when one person turned the other one jumped in the night.

Very beautiful, relaxing, nice view.... loved everything about it! The room also smelled really nice upon arrival. Nice big pool. The lady behind the reception was very friendly and nice! Would recommend and go back :)

Big house, including apartments and rooms. We stayed in one of the apartments. Very outdated, everything was fine but do not expect too much of it. Also swimming pool has (typical Italian) fence around it.. location is great and nice view. Cute village with nice restaurants. Car is a must. Lovely host.

Outside patio is not covered. When it rains you have to stay inside (which is not that cosy). Great swimming pool but fence around it. Outdated. Do not expect any luxury.
