The house is a quick Uber ride to The French Quarter. Other pros were a great well stocked kitchen, easy washer dryer access. Bedrooms were roomy and beds were comfortable. Communication was good and quick.
Some cons for our family were not enough seating in the living room area. We had 5 adults. Only seating for 4 and really 3 comfortably. The kitchen island was hard to eat at as its not really made for dining. We would have liked a dresser in the bedrooms. This wasnt a huge deal but would have been nice.
The biggest con for us was the area. We felt a bit uneasy but had no issues at all. The neighbor was very friendly. There is a bar across the street. The area fills up with cars in the grass etc. It can get loud. Again no issues but a few nights had some trouble getting to sleep from noise. It did settle down though. The pool was great. Water was clean and temperature was nice. Wear shoes because the patio gets hot!
Overall we enjoyed our stay. If I could do 4.5 stars I would.

We were in New Orleans for my daughter's 21st birthday and stayed at Blue VooDoo. The house is very clean and spacious. It was wonderful to have so many bedrooms and the pool was great because it was so hot during the day. The only thing I wish we would have been told more about is the location of the property. We didn't have any issues, but it is very clear that the area is a little questionable. On one of our Uber rides the driver asked if we've had any problems with people in the area. He said that there are a few blocks around that house that is known for not always being safe. Again, we did not have any issues, but I believe that is something that needs to mentioned in the description. We were all women staying in an area that I probably would not have booked had we known.

Our group stayed at Blue Voodoo for Jazz Fest, it's a spacious house with all the amenities you'd want, the neighbors are welcoming and the pool/hot tub were great, thank you for the stay!!

Place was just like the pictures. Had the cleaners not been on site we could not have gotten, key pad did not work the whole time, we did get a key. Pool was not operating when we arrived. But, after contacting the owners, a pool guy came and it was fixed. It was noisy at night, bar across the street and neighbors dogs barking and traffic noise, not the place for a light sleeper. Uber rides were around $20.00 each trip to get around town. We were told to not go out in the neighborhood after dark. The place was very nice, updated, but we still totally enjoyed our girls trip!!

The house was truly amazing! Everything we needed and more. Updated, clean, and beautiful.
Pat and Ellie responded back quickly with any concerns we had! The neighbors were very friendly, we were concerned about the lounge across the street but it wasnt loud or distracting at all.

There were a few issues with the property but the landlord was very responsive and sent someone over every time an issue came up and also followed up via email to make sure we didn’t need anything else.
We enjoyed our stay but we definitely wish we had more privacy in the backyard because the fence was sort of short and twice we were asked questions by the next door neighbors (left and back side). My friends and I were all women and something like that makes us feel a bit unsafe. Overall it was pleasant.
