Staff was very courteous and attentive whenever we saw them in the lobby and return/departing from the hotel.
Floors were a bit dusty and things were a bit run down/pieced together. It’s an older hotel from the French colonization days but frayed wiring, dust on floors and mold in the caulk are preventable IMO. Also, the shower drain was awful. Filled up the tub within seconds of turning water on to shower.

Nice lobby with old fashioned elevator, large flower vase at entrance, breakfast buffet with varieties
with the price we paid, compared to other hotels we stayed, room is small, bed is small, red bright curtains made the room spookily bright early in the morning

Drivers were professional and on time

Good location. The room is clean and comfy. The breakfast was fantastic. We really enjoyed the food.
The elevator is a bit slow.

Lovely French Colonial hotel, helpful staff (receptionists spoke English), fabulous buffet breakfast included, spacious rooms with high ceilings and the original 1932 elevator was great fun to ride! Well-priced, located in quieter area of the city and away from the central market area. I asked for a quiet room and was given a corner room near the back of the hotel with 2 sets of windows. It had a bath and shower, cable TV and all the amenities-even a razor with a tube of shaving cream! And lots of hot water! The breakfast room on the lowest floor was beautifully set up with a patio area at one end. The huge buffet breakfast was excellent and also included a cook who cooked eggs for you any way you liked including omelettes. The head waiters even wore black suits! The young waiters and waitresses were VERY keen to learn English so please speak with them-lovely people!!
Small dining room with limited menu. This may improve as tourists return.
Otherwise, we liked everything!

Lovely place with character and history

Quiet location. Staff were responsive, friendly and helpful. Could book many rooms close together since travelling as a large group. There are connecting rooms available. Have bath tubs. Hot water runs without disruption.
Old. Facilities all feel old. From the room door lock, to the toilet, to the cabinets and overall decor, furniture and TV. But some people may like this old school charm.

Charming old french architect. Clean facilities.
Central location.
Breakfast food were just put out and let to go cold until empty! Nothing was done to keep the food warm.

location
tiny room, very small double bed, bathtub had previous tenants’ hair, no bathrobes, no coffee machine at breakfast

The staff is fabulous. Each staff member ensured we enjoyed our stay.
The hotel is undergoing renovation. However, the enjoyment of our stay was hampered by the hotel’s infrastructure. First, we could not open the windows, not even a crack. We could not get any fresh air into the room. Next, the hospitality TV system is an exercise of frustration. We often had to reboot the TV and remote. The mini-fridge sounded like an air compressor. The bathroom sink drain stopper was difficult to operate and the tub drain, when stopped, leaked faster than filling.

I’m happy with the hotel in all aspects: location, staff, breakfast , and most of all is the historical significance of the hotel.

Poor breakfast service.

The breakfast buffet was great.
The hotel is really pretty.
The staff is helpful and friendly.
The room felt a bit humid sometimes.
I'm not sure where in Dalat is most central, but I felt off the beaten path, especially on foot. That might just be how Dalat is.
