A beautiful hut with great attention to detail the design of the hut and what was provided.

Stunning location. We were blessed with warm dry weather and hardly anyone else on the site so it was extremely peaceful.
No mirror. A mirror especially for shaving is almost essential

The hosts could not have been more helpful! Due to a mix-up of dates; they strived to accommodate us.
The Shepherd's hut was so cosy. I LOVED the smell from all the gorgeous oak.
It was a little bit of an effort to climb onto the bed but wow, it was extremely comfortable. A lovely bed.
There's everything you need for two.
The finish on everything was beautiful - linen curtains and a lovely little bathroom.
It was a lovely, kind and thoughtful touch, to provide some Free from treats (two little chocolate bars and a packet of biscuits) as I'd mentioned my husband (whose birthday it was) is lactose intolerant and I am gluten intolerant.
The hub/games area seemed to have lots in though we only stayed so briefly we didn't need it.
It was wonderful so these are minor things- purely for feedback.
It was really difficult to find the entrance from the main road in the dark late at night. We must have driven past at least half a dozen times! People drive so close behind its hard to slow down adequately to spot the sign and turn at the angle needed! An illuminated sign would be super helpful.
There was no coffee only tea in the hut. Probably some at the hub, but we had some with us. As someone who is AuDHD I struggle with things not being labelled. The two jam jars of tea-bags were not. Perhaps one was decaf. Some Dymo labels on jars and the identical refillable faith-in-nature washing up liquid/hand soap/shower products, would be extremely helpful.
There is some road noise in the hut but it didn't bother us as we are used to that at home!
We only stayed so briefly but it was special.

The big plus of the shepherdess hut is the lovely countryside it is situated in - the whole setting feels very rural! The hut felt new and it was simply and thoughtfully furnished. The shower was good and we appreciated the complementary crisps and water.
There were no towels (not mentioned in any details) and there was no mirror (which my wife would have appreciated as we were attending a function). On arrival the hut seemed clean but there was a dirty tissue in the bathroom and an old water bottle (with water) behind our bed. The bed wasn't the most comfortable.

Not clean, 1 used hand towel only, bedding not clean , owner sent me a message after my stay to say : don’t bring branded vehicle again: it’s my work vehicle
