Just a night away in the New Forest for my birthday. Lovely little quirky pub. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with decent amenities (tea, coffee, fluffy towels, nice toiletries, decent TV). We had booked to go out for dinner but if we come again we will try the pub menu as it smelled delicious. Only a couple of tiny gripes… one was that hair dryer cable was a little short for a plug point near a mirror in our room, and the other was that someone needs to Sharpie some numbers on the keypad to get into the car park as they were all faded off and it took us a few attempts to get the gate to open. Otherwise we’d happily stay again as the pub and Lymington are lovely.

A lovely stay with a friend. Hotel staff were friendly and attentive. We found our room, the furthest point of the hotel up 3 flights of spiral stairs. It was clean and comfortable however due to a water leak along the corridor, the room smelt damp. Comfy bed and pilllows, had a good nights sleep! We also enjoyed a wonderful meal in the restaurant. Visitors should however be given better directions to the carpark which is around the back. Thanks for a lovely stay

The staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately our window didn’t shut property and it was a very noisy room as it was on the road and we had loud noises which started at 6am. So wasn’t a restful stay. The room did look tired and needs a lick of paint. We wouldn’t stay again

Excellent location on the High Street, lovely pub with good drinks choice. The room was very comfortable, spacious, clean! Coffee machine, hairdryer, bathrobes etc! Added bonus parking available! Stayed Saturday night!

Great location, lots to do, staff really friendly and helpful.
Due to age of pub, rooms are a little tired, but reflected in the price.
Would certainty return.

Very nice family room, an older hotel so full of character. Location was perfect for us right in the middle of Lymington high street. Would recommend

We stayed here for 1 night to go to The Elderflower restaurant. The actual pub is a bit tired but our room was £108.00 and really lovely, with an extra large bathroom. Tea and coffee facilities. Staff were really helpful. I would recommend without hesitation.

Lovely place- easy parking, beautiful room, central location with hotel and local dining options around. Friendly helpful staff.

Too many issues to note here, poor quality rooms, terrible service in the bar and restaurant, unhelpful staff and very noisy location. Overpriced and not worth the money. Would not stay here again.

The room was nicely decorated and comfortable. The pub is central and a great location for seeing Lymington.

Characterful old Inn located on the Main Street in Lymington. Ideally situated for the shops, market and local amenities. Comfortable rooms but no lift access to upper floors. Good food and service.
Would stay here again.

No biscuits for deluxe room. Coffee maker wasn’t clean and only pods so no coffee. Room was tired and worn and a lot of chipped paintwork which gave it a shabby appearance. This didn’t match up
to the photos on the website. Bed was good Thankyou.
Breakfast was very good - waitress was very polite and professional.
On the positive side we were allowed to do a late check out which was much appreciated.

Second stay at this pub with rooms, excellent both times. Rooms are quirky in a good way and pub is comfortable, decent food and live music. Free secure parking is a bonus, although both times the access code we had was incorrect. Perfect central location to go exploring, lively high street with good shopping, a Saturday market, and plenty of other good places to eat and drink too if desired. Lovely area, will be back.

Can't get my head over where's £120 price tag for my room came from... not worth even £20! Could write 5-6 pages how bad my one night stand was, but don't want to think about it again...

Just a one night stay for our anniversary- which we thoroughly enjoyed. Quirky decor, nice old pub and super-friendly and efficient staff all round. Right in the centre of the shops but no problem with noise etc. Thoroughly recommend

2nd visit and on both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The place was dead after 10 PM (on a Monday night in late October) and the staff made it clear that having a pint wasn't really OK because they wanted to close. That just didn't create a very welcoming atmosphere in an otherwise lovely pub.

It was so clean, and we did inspect !! Had to change one towel but im prrtty sure what was on it was a scrunched up leaf that made it through the washing machine, i dont know ! But everything else was spotless. Bed was very very comfy. It said it took cash for the stay anf that we would have a welcome basket which we were really looking forward to, but neither were true. The staff booking us in was quite rude and rushy. Tv was miles away from bed and not much tea and coffee selection. Its not worth the price whatsoever! We paid 144 for king size. Id say £65 wouldve been a fair price for what we got.

Lovely spot with friendly and accommodating staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
No complaints coming from me!

All in all great stay at the Angel & Blue Pig. The hotel is on the high street and within easy reach of the seaside and has lots of local restaurants and bars to choose from. They have a car park towards the rear of the hotel. The room was spotless and clean, however the shower was poor as water trickled out slowly. The reception staff was very blunt on arrival. I approached the desk to ask what the code was so my partner who was waiting outside at the car park barrier could park, however she was more interested in making me pay there and then rather than letting us into the hotel first.
The pub has a friendly and homely feel downstairs which charming character.

Check in was easy enough,
Nice property, but serving water glasses in the room with a cracked glass isn’t really good enough. Shower door also didn’t close.

Disappointing…. So much potential, but the service needs to improve.

This was our third stay to this hotel. It's very central in Lymington, plus there is parking, first come first served. The rooms are quirky and stylised
. Positives nice bedding, clean room, lovely fluffy large bath towels and toiletries supplied. Tea and coffee in room. Staff friendly when checking in, also we had a drink late evening before bed and the two ladies serving at the bar werelovely and friendly towards us.
Negatives -Unfortunately our room was above the bar (Uriel), we thought being at the back of the hotel it would be quiet....sadly we could still hear the base beat of the music till gone midnight!!!! Not good when you are trying to get to sleep... I also think that a lot of cut backs have been made and for the price breakfast should Really be included, not a cooked ( that should be an extra price) however a continental breakfast with a drink is really a must!!! Unfortunately when checking out the lady in the bar was having difficulty sorting the bills for three men trying to pay, so she advised to leave my key with her, so I couldn't complain about the noise from the previous night. It's such a shame for the negative comments as we had such a fantastic visit last year in April and we also visited in July... I think the management must have changed..
This was to celebrate our Anniversary, thankfully we weren't staying 2 nights, as because of lack of sleep due to the music we were very jaded the next day!!!!!!
