House is a nice new reno but is minimally maintained, broken lamp and drapes. Washer was broken on arrival (property manager reimbursed for laundromat). Communication was poor during checkin but quick, polite, and fast during the stay. Overall accurate description!

Honestly, this place was pretty terrible despite our low expectations.
The Wi-Fi information was completely wrong and we were unable to connect to the internet (I can’t use my American phone at all in Canada without Wi-Fi)
We had laundry to do but the washing machine was incredibly smelly from a full load of laundry that had been left in there (soaking wet). It must’ve been like that awhile because it was very moldy on the inside.
We tried to grill but there were no grilling utensils and the grates were unusably dirty with no way to clean them.
We tried to cook using the oven but the smoke detector went off right away (not from the food, the oven wasn’t clean enough). I couldn’t turn it off because it’s physically unreachable
There was NO WAY to contact the host when we had issues — no number was provided. Thankfully one person in our party had a phone that worked without Wi-Fi so I was able to call the property manager that I had booked with but despite leaving FOUR messages with my name, alternate number and request for urgent help — my calls were never returned.
The owner is renovating the basement of the place and turning it into another rental so he has parts blocked off/covered by curtains but it felt like we could be accessed by one of these “off limits areas” at any time even if we locked the front door.
Driveway is Insanely narrow
Signs warn that cleaners will go through waste when we leave, take pictures and fine us if we do not recycl…

The owners are in the process of fixing an older property which is attached to the rear of a small furniture store. The space is nicer inside than it looks outside. The bedrooms are pleasant, and the bathroom has a jacuzzi tub (we did not try the tub). There are some issues with restocking, maintenance, and furniture condition, however. The coffee table wobbles horribly and needs to be taken apart and glued, and part of the couch has a dishpan sized depression in it. The shower handle comes off when you try to adjust the temperature (needs a set screw to replace a missing one). The oven is quite dirty, despite instructions from the host that one is to use foil to keep the oven clean (no foil was provided). We could not find a coffeepot despite the host assuring us there was one…it turned up in the laundry area, apparently placed there due to a cracked carafe. There are pots and pans, but minimal kitchen items otherwise. If you plan to fix meals, you will need to bring your own supplies, as other than pots and pans the cupboards are pretty bare. Bring your own hand soap, there is none in the bathroom, nor is there laundry detergent. Clear bags that are supposed to be for recycling are not there. There are steep stairs up from the front door and also down from the kitchen to the laundry area. For us it meant keeping a close eye on a toddler who could have easily taken a bad fall. There is a driveway but it's narrow with fence on one side and brick wall on the other.

The area is close to the attractions. The house is clean. They encourage us to recycle but the proper bags were not provided. Garbage disposal were unclear. Overall it is good, a home away from home.

Had a wonderful time with the family. Lots to do in Niagara Falls. Rental home was walking distance from the Falls. Home was clean and Kitchen well equipped. Comfy beds. Only downside was that it only had 1 bathroom, but still recommend.
