We enjoyed the home’s outdoor amenities so much - kayaking, sun deck by the lake, grilled and watched tv on the patio in comfy recliners. The fireplace was perfect for the cool nights. The inside is like new and super clean. It was just a short trip to Silver Lake for buggy riding on the dunes, shopping at Grand Haven and hiking at Hoffmaster State Park.

Gorgeous home on a beautiful lake! This house was perfect for me and my husband, our 2 teenage daughters and our mom & dad for our annual week-long summer vacation. We most enjoyed the outdoor space...playing yard games, fishing off the dock, sunning on the tubes, kayaking, watching the Olympics and playing cards on the covered patio and smores at the fire pit. Also enjoyed a few trips to Grand Haven and to Lake Michigan for the most beautiful sunsets. The house was newly renovated, very clean and comfortable with a fully stocked large kitchen. Thom was a most gracious host and always responded quickly via text. Thanks for sharing this gem with us Thom!

We had four adults and four kids stay in this cute house on the lake. The kids woke up every morning to fish and kayak all day. The younger two kids loved the sandy beach area and the adults enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area. Plenty of room on the dock for our 21 foot boat. Would definitely stay here again!

I want to provide a detailed review, so the owner can address things for future renters. Did we have a nice stay overall, absolutely. Were there things that made it less than stellar, absolutely. All things could be resolved, therefore sharing here so it can be addressed.
Property has the potential to be very nice but the overwhelming smell of musty/mildew hits you when you walk in the door. Living room couch is tiny and uncomfortable. Outdoor area is beautiful, but again needs cleaned. So many cobwebs, which I would have thought would have been addressed prior to our stay. Chairs around fire pit are already broken/falling apart. Beach chairs were dirty and not cleaned prior to our stay.
While the kitchen was well appointed with items for cooking, the pantry smelled awful and I believe there were containers with mold growing on the lids.
We were also visited by several ants in the kitchen area as well.
Master bed was quite uncomfortable and again the mildew smell in that closet and all other closets were so strong!
Owner provided a bottle of wine which was nice, but contact with the owner was limited as he too was on vacation on hard to reach.
Location of house is near a rundown park so I wish I would have done more research of the surrounding area before our stay to be more informed.

The property is very nice and the outdoor furniture was comfortable. We had a bit of trouble with the lock on the door but figured it out. It’s close to multiple beaches. There were beach towels which was nice. We had four in our party, which is almost more than the living room supports for watching TV. The grill was pretty dirty so we didn’t use it and we weren’t sure about how the flattop drained grease so we didn’t use that either. I wish there were hangers in the closets. A few things for the owners- the bottom dishwasher rack is missing wheels so tough to get in and out. The indoor soundbar and the oven fan didn’t work. Overall very well maintained and we enjoyed our stay.

The house was very nice and the outside areas were amazing! We didn’t have to leave the whole time we were there and our kids had a blast playing on the beach and in the water!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. The owner really thought everything out. We had everything we needed. The property exceeded our expectations. The outside was fantastic. Plenty space and area to hang out, grill, relax and make s’mores. The sitting areas with the grill was covered and has a tv. So even when it rained we were able to enjoy the outside. There’s even a little beach area - no need to leave and go somewhere else. The only suggestion I have for the owner is to change the time he has set for the sprinkle system. It kind of put a damper on the kids being able to play outside. It came on even during the rain. Otherwise would definitely love to come again next year.

Beautiful and very clean home...million dollar views...family enjoyed fishing, kayaking, firepit, back porch, birds, ducks, possible eagle, and the great grandchild (would visit for the day) loved the little beach making sand castles. Beds were comfortable...except for the pull out couch (would be sufficient for a small child). The family had an exceptional time making lots of memories!

Such a great property! Everything you could possibly want and a great space with plenty of comfortable outdoor seating and TV spaces for football watching. So beautifully redone and a great view of the lake. Look forward to coming back in the summer!

Thoms home was absolutely stunning and perfectly equipped with everything you need for a lake house stay. From perfectly soft (and amazing smelling) sheets, to kitchen cookware, to the kayaks and outdoor setting - this was the best lake house we’ve ever stayed at.
Our kids enjoyed playing in the sand and lake in the backyard, and we were never far from an activity, such as the beautiful Pere Marquette beach, downtown Grand Haven, and of course Michigan Adventure!
It’s clear that Thom poured a lot of love into this place, and we’re so grateful that he shared his home with us. We’ll definitely be back!

family needed a place to stay together for a wedding weekend. From the moment we walked in there was just a feeling of relaxation that affected us all. Plenty of room for our 7 plus all the bags. Amazing kitchen, dock, outdoor space. Close enough to shopping district to get food deliveries.
Very evident that the property owner put a great deal of thought into making this home into a haven.

This house looks even better in person! It has absolutely everything you need for your stay and it looks like a newly built home with a modern lake house feel. Everything was so well put together! Paddle board, kayaks, fishing rods, fire pit and so much outdoor seating. Thom was great at answering questions with very quick response time. We will definitely be staying here again next summer

This house is absolutely beautiful. Everything was brand new and styled perfectly. It had everything you need. We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board. We were even greeted with a nice bottle of wine waiting for us on the counter. We were looking for a relaxing family get away and this was the perfect choice. We will stay here again.
