All good. It was great to witness first hand how a well supported team of people with special educational needs can work together to make a successful business and to provide community support through Desmond’s Kitchen.

A fabulous hotel, the contents and "treasures" in all the rooms downstairs was stunning. Full of individuality and very special. Excellent location, walking distance to the centre of Louth. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, nothing was too much bother, and they would all talk to you! Some places we've stayed in we have felt like an interruption in their busy day, but not here. Special mention to Thomas for laying our breakfast out on the big dining room table in the breathtaking library room.
The hotel generally needs a good "tidy up". Some cleaning is required for instance, to the inside window sills, facade could do with a lick of paint. With a bit of TLC it could be stunning.

Quirky hotel with a library and every board game you could want with lovely staff and a delicious breakfast

The stay was an experience. Beautiful old building with loads of character . We stayed in the deluxe double room with the four poster bed . If you are looking for corporate this is not the place for you . The staff were super helpful and chatty . Daniel is such a character. The young chap that runs it Tom was so obliging and very knowledgeable about the Priorys history . All in all well worth going.

Perfect bedding and woke up not only to birdsong, but the best bacon I've had in ages. Beautiful setting, loads of charm, staff absolutely lovely, free parking but short walk to all sorts of wonderful places to eat. Fantastic value, especially as we booked a family room.

Very nice breakfast with plenty of choice. Lovely friendly smart staff catering for our every request
A bit more attention to cleaning the bedroom, it was quite dusty on the bedside tables, kettle, cups and window area.

A warm welcome when we arrived, happy, cheerful and helpful staff. The breakfast was one of the best full English we have ever had, and we have had many!! Well done guys you have got it right and you all certainly warmed our hearts.
The decor was a little tired.

Lovely building, quirky, but clean and fresh room. Ben was a great host, showed us around the building and to our room. We ate dinner there and he was very attentive ensuring we had everything we needed. Chef also came out at dinner and breakfast to chat and ensure the food was to our liking. Wonderful atmosphere, all the staff spoke to us, which was really nice. Definitely will be back on next trip that way.
Nothing to dislike

The hotel was situated within walking distance from Louth city centre. There is a bar and the bar tender Tom specialised in excellent cocktails. We had a Whiskey Sour. Daniel was very friendly and knowledgeable and entertained us during meal times. Ben did an excellent job as meet and greet and Noah provided excellent breakfast and enthusiastic service. The bedroom was very comfortable and clean. We are going back again soon.

Staff were great, special mention to Noah who coped really well when the fire alarm sounded Saturday morning with making sure all the guests were safe and when the all clear was announced he went straight back to getting all of the breakfasts done.
I assume the restaurant was fully booked on both days of our stay as we were not informed of the of Menu's etc, I found a Menu and drinks folder in reception but all it showed was the wine list and drink prices.
