Located on 5 acres less than a mile from the absolute center of Door County, our dog friendly home with a fenced yard is perfect for those who want peace and quiet without having to sacrifice all the spectacular restaurants, wineries, beaches, trails and beloved tourist spots our area has to offer. We have two master bedroom suites with king sized beds and en-suite baths in each room. There is a separate entry for the second bedroom from the front porch. Relax in the sunroom enjoying epic sunsets!! The perfect escape for everyone. Our house is less than 10 minutes from both Egg Harbor on Green Bay to the west and Baileys Harbor on Lake Michigan to the east. Kayak rentals and tours, as well as grocery stores, are also less than 10 minutes away.

ARE YOU ON VACATION? Enjoy the outdoors in and around Door County all day, then come back to enjoy all the comfortable amenities, including fire pit, gas grill, board games, smart TVs, air conditioning, and a fully equipped kitchen for preparing meals. A dishwasher and washer and dryer make life on vacation a little easier.

DO YOU LOVE TO BE ACTIVE OUTDOORS? Door County has more miles of shoreline than any other county in America. There are dozens of beaches and five of Wisconsin’s expansive and beautifully maintained state parks where you can swim, hike, bike, fish, or participate in a variety of water sports and other fun outdoor activities. The roads throughout Door County are great for bicycle rides. If your stay coincides with cherry picking (mid-July) or apple picking (fall), you will be in for a treat! Golf is less than 10 minutes away either at Maxwelton Braes in Baileys Harbor or at The Orchards in Egg Harbor. . In the winter months the possibilities are many: Snowshoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and fat tire biking.

Perfect for couples they like to spent their anniversary gateways in a stylish and clean environment! Everything was amazing! Communication with Jean was very easy, she responded quick, and she was very nice! Cottage location is great, secluded and quiet, but very close to everything we needed (10-30 minutes with car to get to other places or other popular towns in Door County). House is excellent! Very clean- spotless, modern, and updated with a lot of amenities that make your stay even more comfortable. I loved beautiful bathroom with fluffy white towels and robes, it made us feel like in 5* hotel! I can’t say any negatives about this charming house! Really, it blows my mind how clean and ideal it is. On top of that, Door County has spectacular lighthouses and places for exploring. Nature is just beautiful, and Chambers Island is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen! Thank you Jean for having us, and hopefully we will come back in summer! Veronika&Roman

What a great stay. Bob (the Landlord) was very responsive to our inquiries and did a great job of helping us enjoy our stay. The house has some great finishes (higher end appliances, fixtures, etc.), and it is clear that he has put a lot of effort in making this a comfortable home. The fenced in yard was so helpful when enjoying the fire pit at night worry-free that we would not lose track of our 2 Bernese Mountain Dogs. He even provided bags to help us keep the yard picked up. There is a wonderfully large lot as part of this property, so if you have a very active pet, you will have ample room to let them burn off some steam. It would also be great to play frisbee, fly kites, etc. Really a great property. The bed was very comfortable. Some small notes. If you are a "sleeper-inner" like us, the house has a lot of windows--and great natural light--but morning comes early, so you might want to bring a sleep mask. Also, there are several electronic lights in the main part of the house (microwave clock, coffee pot clock, routers, a printer, etc.), so we had to cover a lot of them at night to get the house as dark as we would like. All the same, we tend to revisit the homes we like the best, and this one definitely makes the list!

We absolutely loved our stay! What a beautiful home & grounds. Very private, but still only a short drive to the nearby towns. Our doggie loved the fenced in yard and the porch was amazing to open up the windows & watch the sunset. Can’t wait to come back!

A perfect stay for a couples getaway! Quiet, secluded, and on a beautiful property - we loved every minute of our stay, our two dogs included. The house had everything we could have possibly needed. It was incredibly clean and cozy. An ideal location for those that want to be close to the hustle and bustle (a 7 minute drive to downtown Egg Harbor) but also enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

This property is the best we have ever stayed at! It’s beautifully appointed and the owners have thought of everything. The kitchen had everything we needed. The living area was comfortable and the gas fireplace/stove made it so cozy on the cool fall nights. The views from every window were breathtaking! We will be back.

The Cottage is just a few years old and this being our 2nd year in a row. The place is better than new. The owner is putting money back in and made more improvements to a place that was already top notch. Best place for a stay with the dogs.

This is definitely one of the finest properties we have rented. The location is perfect for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of town. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. The sunroom was our favorite place to hangout and unwind. There is a place for a campfire where you can relax while sipping cherry wine.

Pine Side cottage was a little piece of heaven on earth for us. It was a perfect getaway. It's centrally located so all the villages were just a short drive. Most VRBO rentals require you to bring your own linens and cleaning supplies. Not here. Everything was provided. We can't say enough good about it. We no longer need to search for Door County accomodations. When we return we'll definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was PERFECT! Beautiful location with privacy. We loved eating meals on the three-season porch and watching the sunset through the pines. The best-stocked kitchen I've ever seen at a Vrbo - it had EVERYTHING! The bed is super comfy and the bathroom is luxurious. Also, the host was quick to respond to questions. I highly recommend!

Home was beautiful and clean. Loved the sun/ season room. The only flaw I can suggest is maybe having a T.V. in the bedroom. We had our daughter with us. Nice to have if you want to sit and relax after coming back from site seeing / shopping. All and all a wonderful time. Thank you

PineSide Cottage is phenomenal! The property is located easily within a 20-minute drive of most of the towns and activities in Door County (it's slightly longer to the north side if you want to catch the ferry to Washington Island). It is easily accessible by one of the main roads but nestled in a wooded area so you get the true outdoors feel. The cottage is also impeccably clean and has everything you need. Plenty of kitchen supplies, bedding, towels, etc. The check-in/out process was extremely easy and Jean was very easy to get a hold of (though we didn't need to since there was a binder of info with everything we needed to know). We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it!

Fantastic × 3. Quiet clean woodsy view sunsets, lovely place. Great kitchen we made excellent meals, enjoyed wine cards yard games at night and all the state parks by day. Easy access to everywhere but peaceful and quiet when you want it. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough good things about staying here. The house is beautiful and cozy. The property is private and quiet, yet very close to everything. The house was very clean; probably the cleanest rental that we've ever stayed at. Excellent hosts - they have literally thought of everything to make your stay comfortable & convenient. We loved the Pine Side property. Everything was modern and up to date and located in a cozy, wooded area. Easy drive to many activities, restaurants, shops in Door County. We were able to bring our dog too which was a nice plus. Loved watching the sunsets from the 3 season patio too.

Perfect property! This home appears to be new and is perfectly decorated. The layout with the “sun room” creates a nice balance. I can only imagine what this is like when the weather breaks. Thx for the hospitality and hopefully we can find an opening to come back later this summer/fall.

Pineside was a very relaxing retreat; we enjoyed the proximity to all Door County has to offer. We especially enjoyed our hikes in Ridges Sanctuary , seriously not to be missed. The cottage is close to many restaurants... and really enjoyed the Coyote Roadhouse Restaurant and the winery that is just up the street ( the name slips my mind)..... Pineside is a beautiful , updated cottage. Perfect !! We will be back!!

We stayed for the weekend and had a great time. They had everything we needed to grill and cook a few meals and the place was clean and quiet. Cty A north runs right into Peninsula Park's cross country ski trails (novice to advanced) and just a few minutes more to the main park.
