Insgesamt sehr schöner, angenehmer Aufenthalt.

Kurz zusammengefasst, ist die Unterkunft, die Lage und das drumherum wirklich gut. Wir hatten eine Standard-Villa mit (zufällig) direktem Meerblick und nettem Balkon. Direkter Strandzugang (Liegestühle am Strand 18€, aber nicht notwendig da man am Pool liegen kann). Strandrestaurant direkt anbei, dort kann man für 16€ pP auch ganz gut frühstücken. Schön ist die Umgebung, ruhiges Dorf, einige Lokale und Bars, fußläufig auch mindestens 4-5 sehr gute Restaurants, hier kann man sich jeweils auf die Bewertungen ganz gut verlassen. Aktuelle Info: Den Pool teilt sich die Unterkunft grundsätzlich mit einem weiteren Hotel, dass etwas oberhalb gelegen ist. Dieses Hotel wird aber derzeit renoviert, also waren Liegen am Pool ausreichend verfügbar (eventuell relevant für Reiseplanung noch 2024).

Wir waren sehr zufrieden, zur Info vielleicht nur: Die Zugänge (Zimmer, Pool) sind eigentlich nicht barrierefrei (wir mussten den Kinderwagen mehrfach tragen), das stellte für uns auch kein großes Problem dar. Ich selbst habe es in der Vorrecherche aber nicht herausgelesen.

Perfect spot with everything you need to enjoy your vacation

It is an amazing place for vacation. Closed territory with a beach, swimming pool, bar, pizzeria and hotel restaurant. The staff was very friendly and attentive. One of the best experiencesa we had.

The hotel was nice with lovely view at the ocean.

I enjoyed walking distance for the breakfast and mainly the view at the ocean from the restaurant. I paid for sea view, which applied little bit as first you see the concerted building first and then in the distance the sea view. The ocean was the best.

I did not like the fact that booking. com, which I have used many times, has provided me with information, were not correct. I booked taxi from/to the airport and the driver dropped me of at the end of the resort that due to some construction he was not able to stop by the reception. I arrived at 01:00 on Friday morning and left by the end of the resort to walk to find the reception. The contact number for the property at booking.com information was incorrect so no one answered my 5 calls about 1am(24/7-reception). I tried to use google and I found different number, which worked and very kind gentleman Roberto from the reception came to pick me up with his electric car, so I didn't have to walk from the end of the resort to the reception in the rain. Also, it showed me that the way the driver drove he passed the reception, where he could have just drop me off. After this experience I cancelled the taxi, which I pre-booked, but I lost my money and there is no compensation at all. Also, this is my second booking, where I stayed since complaining about my status on my rewards as these bookings passed and my reward scheme is still not updated yet. I stayed at two expensive hotels already and I had taxi booked that is 3 bookings together and for level 3 I was missing just 2 stamps and they gave me just one, why?!- I would like to raise complaint about it. Taxi never again via Booking. com!

Super chilled

We loved the location and apartments had stunning views. The beach was great.

We had to pay for sun beds every day at the beach as there were none left by the pool. The fact that people reserved their beds early - queuing to get in and then leaving their towels for hours was ridiculous. There should be a policy of no reserving to make it fair.

Nice property but a bit expensive

The main thing was the stunning location. Nice pool area and hotel is right on the beach. The 2 hotel restaurants were good. Mlini and Srebreno are nice places to walk in the evening with restaurants and a few bars. The water taxi to Dubrovnik was a great thing to try.

The area is a bit expensive.. value for money is not always there. Self catering facilities were limited in the villa.

We had breakfast once in the hotel - was hectic and busy, but may have just been unfortunate with time!

Lovely stay in the villas with beautiful views of Mlini bay

We stayed in one of the bungalows and the views were phenomenal. Loved waking up to the sound of lapping waves. The room was cozy with a separate kitchen/living space and the terrace was fantastic for a night cap. Beds were comfortable and the AC worked well.

It would be good to know that the check in and address as at Hotel Astarea - otherwise the taxis and GPS don’t know where to take you.

Very pleased and will be back again next year.

The property was spacious, so very little noise from any of the common areas e.g. pool, restaurant balcony. It was peaceful and easy to walk to Srebreno to go to restaurants, which were all good. Enjoyed immensely.

Great location and views. Convenient for visiting Cavtat or Dubrovnik. I recommend using the ferry.

Great location and views from the hotel / pool. We had the ground floor apartment and you had to stand up to see the view over the hedge, but that also gave us some privacy. The size of the apartment for the 3 of us was great. We didn’t plan to cook as there were restaurants nearby, just warm croissants and make sandwiches, so the kitchen worked, but be aware there is no oven or bbq if you wanted to do more. Cleaning staff were great as was Roberto on reception.

Unfortunately we had unseasonal rain during our visit so the apartment flooded, however signs were that this had happened before. We were moved to another apartment with an amazing sea view. The only other niggle was there was no plug in the sink for washing up. We asked reception and the housekeeper but never got a plug.

It's been the second time we visited Mlini and the second time lived in "Maistra Select Mlini Villas and Apartments". We really liked the hotel and the nature beside it. Also, the hotel staff was really helpful and friendly!

Hotel location was perfect 👌 Also Villa position right by the sea - perfact. Rooms were super clean and spacious.

While the overall experience was satisfactory, there was one aspect that left me feeling disappointed—breakfast. Having seen enticing photos of the breakfast spread online, I arrived with high expectations of a delightful buffet experience. Unfortunately, the reality fell far short of what was portrayed. Upon entering the breakfast area, I was surprised to find that instead of a lavish buffet with an array of options, there was a limited selection of items a la carte. The choices were limited to one, some fruit, and drink like tea to coffee. The discrepancy between the photos and the actual breakfast setup was undeniable. The images I had seen showcased a variety Of beautifully presented hot dishes and pastries, freshly squeezed juices, and an assortment of cereals and yogurts. These photos were misleading, creating an unrealistic expectation that was not met. Moreover, the limited options quickly became repetitive, and the options did not satisfy our hunger. The disparity between the advertised breakfast experience and the reality was a letdown, leaving me feeling misled and dissatisfied. On a positive note, the staff members at Maistra Hotel were friendly and accommodating, and the other aspects of my stay were generally superb. However, the misrepresentation of the breakfast experience significantly impacted my overall impress.

Very good

The staff are incredible and will do more than they need to for their guests. The pool is fantastic and our villa was in a great spot.

The bath situation was not good. My husband ended up getting very badly injured and we needed doctors to attend to him for 3 days.

Have already recommended to friends and very tempted to return.

Our Studio, with large balcony, was in a block of 4 directly facing the sea. Reception Staff and the crew at Restaurants were terrific. We were there during the last week of season which meant it was much quieter than we anticipated but that meant great service, quiet pool and deserted beach....can wade waist deep for some distance in the sea. Good restaurants within 15-minute walk. Ferry to Dubrovnik in one direction and Cavtat in the other takes approx 20 minutes (we preferred the latter as less cruise-touristy).

These comments did not affect our stay in the slightest so please take in the right context. There were only two of us...we felt the studio may have been a bit cramped (despite separate living area and sofa bed) had there been a third adult. Also, kitchenette only had 2 electric plates on the hob (no oven or microwave) although good variety of utensils. Great for simple breakfasts - and a great excuse to try out different restaurants (as we had always intended anyway). 9 night stay - different restaurant each night and no complaints.

What a gem!

Lovely location. Photos give an accurate representation of the apartments and villas.. Accommodation very clean. Great range of restaurants nearby. Good, reasonably priced local bus service to Dubrovnik and Cavtat.

Not really a problem, but it is over 20 minutes walk to the supermarket and a steep walk up the driveway to the main road and bus stop.

Really enjoyable.

Views fabulous and location great. Really good breakfast and restaurant nice too. Staff are lovely.

Bed was too hard. Pool area is too small to cope with the number of guests though you’d be mad to sit around it with everything on offer around Dubrovnik. Mlini beach not great - Srebreno around the coast is way better.
