Easy to find, parking excellent , amazing information pack that told us all we needed to know . The house was very clean, everything we needed was there including a pint of milk and tea/coffee .
3.0
Only a 15 minute walk to the centre. Spacious house. Free parking. Clean and well equipped.
A bit tired and dated decor.Bathroom lights didn’t work but we were provided with torches.

It was all spotless and homely. Very close to the centre. Games for the children and lovely extras like bubble bath and milk in the fridge.
Communication ftom just was brilliant and we were even allowed extra time to pack up.

A very charming house. Roomier than it looked on the outside. Everything was clean and welcoming. The host was ready and able to help when needed.
Not really a *dislike*, but I would have like to know some history of the house. It looked pretty old. The street was cobbled. Such things are an interesting novelty to many visitors.

ideal location for us and great quiet stop over whilst travelling to Scotland
not a criticism, an observation - the sofa arrangement was not overly comfortable for four adults
3.5
We were lucky in that the room was being cleaned up as we arrived so we were able to move in there and then,
Plenty of room for the 4 adults although fitting around a table was a squeeze.
Main bed was uncomfortable for a couple so we had one person on the couch so we werent disturbing each other when moving.

Free car parking on street outside property (permit provided for residential scheme). Quiet neighbourhood. Within few minutes walk of shops and takeaways. Within 10 minutes walk of pub. Well equipped kitchen. Very helpful visitor guide and guidance from property owner before arrival.

Very handy to city centre and castle. Lots of games for the kids. Free wifi. Chocolates and milk were a lovely bonus. Parking permit supplied and easy to use.
Not being able to control heating was a surprise (but host could boost temperature remotely after sending them a message). Single beds wire-strung bases were tired and sagging.

It was very spacious, a whole apartment. It was very clean and perfect

Had everything we needed, very clean and tidy. Bedrooms are really nice and kitchen well equipped.
Small kitchen, disappointing turfed garden.

Great location, plenty of on street parking. Very good communication from the owner. Well presented clean home
Decor a little bit dated but really didn't matter for our purpose. It was spotlessly clean which is much more important
4.5
Lovely and clean and good location.

Quiet area, lots of thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge and welcome chocolates (thank you)😊easy to walk into town. Spacious bedrooms, modern amenities and nice little garden with plants at the back.
Would be a good base to explore the whole area from if you needed a week or so.
Perhaps another brighter light in the living room would be useful.
4.0
Excellent for a stop-over en-route to Scotland. Perfect for four people wiht easy parking and all facilities needed for an over-night stop. Host very helpful.
The beds were not comfortable, impacting on our ability to sleep well.

it suited our needs - we needed a one night stay following a family wedding. The property was clean and we had everything we needed. Emma also kindly left tea and coffee, milk and chocolates which was very kind. Emma has been extremely efficient and answered any queries I had very quickly.
There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout the property and everything about it was very dated and the living room is quite dark. Maybe this was reflected in the price, however.
