Terrace.Wifi was very good. I was offered the choice of two rooms and chose one on the terrace. The aircon heating kept it warm enough. To find Riad Malak either walk along Rue Bab Aissi about 150 m where you can turn a very sharp left and it is on your left at the next turn or walk to end of Lahdim Sq and go right and follow the lane about 100 m until you find it in your right at a turn.
Breakfast was disappointing as I advised I did not like eggs and asked for extra yoghurt but only got a tiny one. I would normally eat four. The pancake was of reasonable size. Sugar was added to my tea so was too sweet instead of letting me add my own. TV in lounge does not work as a tv.

Staff was amazing and location too. Definitely i will go back

Great location in old quarter . close to market & sites.
Lots of stairs. parking is in a nearby square outside the gate & although there are attendants there our car was sideswiped on the side mirror while parked there . Receipt for 2 days parking was 2 leaves placed on the dashboard!

The staff was good.
Nice terrace
-The breakfast poor (not real orange juice, etc)
-the bathroom really bad maintained
-the bedroom was smelling bad (something humid was in the bedroom)
-really bad value for money
-prices in general crazy (10 euro for a laundry in the washing machine? Even in Europe or US it will cost you less) .
-no host responsibility, booking a place in the medina is really uncomfortable because no one taxi wants to approach the medina area, and it's difficult to find the place.

Location: in middle of old town(Medina) close to shops
Breakfast was a disaster, lack of staff communication. Note says breakfast served at 9am yet they did not start preparing it till after 9, I asked for a cup of coffee she was on her phone said I am working on it then kept on browsing. OJ was not fresh. They kept on bringing breakfast piece by piece no tray coffee tasted awful…. Lack of customer service

Kind, friendly and accommodating. Many thanks for your hospitality.

Delicious breakfast, Kindest staff, perfect location. The place is simple and very clean, located in the heart of the medina. Cozy terrace.

We had a great stay and a very warm welcome. They gave us a delicious tea and cooked a fantastic traditional food for dinner. We definetely recommend it!

Great roof terrace (for sunset and breakfast). The location is good, once you manage to find it. Good WiFi
The location on the booking.com map is wrong. I had to pay a local guide to show me the way. The breakfast was average for Moroccan standards.

Please Guys, if you need a day off from traveling or just want to relax, this is the place to be. incredible views from the terrace and beautiful top floor rooms. the staff was incredibly friendly and the breakfast traditional and delicious. I would not only come back, but also stay longer. it was a wonderful experience. We also recommend the restaurant directly opposite!
I don't have high standards myself when I travel so I have nothing to say. some people might find the bathroom a bit too small. but one must never forget it is and remains an old riad and is not a superclass hotel

The riad is well located near Lahdim square, the room was very clean, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff are very helpful and available anytime, thank you Fatima for the delicious breakfast and Mohamed is a skillful musician, he played guitar for us very well.
Thank you.

Friendly staff, good location. The terrace would be great when it's not cold and raining :-).
Overall would recommend.
Very thin walls. We had a very noisy neighbour (not the riad's fault) who, when not clearing his throat, snored or talked on his phone very loudly, and smoked, which infested our room!!. Nasty smell from bathroom.

We booked last minute and arrived last very late and yet, the staff was really kind and helpful. We got a spacious room with a comfy double bed and private bathroom, that was a great deal. The internet connection was and stable. The morning breakfast right from the pan was also lovely. Thank you for an amazing stay, we will be back.

Good location. Mohammed was very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and newly renovated. Great reading light.
Bad smell from the bathroom. The small outdoor window had no view but took in the noise from below.

A good place to stay, clean, spacious, very hot shower water, friendly staff, good breakfast.
There is no separation between shower and the rest of the bathroom, that makes all the floor wet

Amazing Location and Rooftop, really nice people!
A big hug to Mohammed and Fatima!
Strongly recommend!
Thanks a lot for everything!

Muhammad and Fatima were really nice hosts. Muhammad told us tales about Meknes history and entertained us with his guitar. Fatima cooked a great breakfast! I would really recommend this Hotel, just a few minutes away from the main square, gate and museums.

great and helpfull staff (also a musicians), good breakfast, great view of the city. Also at the reception they gave us a heater so we were not cold.
bit older towels, bathroom could use tiny restoration.

The Riad has great location inside the Medina, with a lovely terrace overseeing the area where I enjoyed the panoramic views for both sunrise and sunset in Meknes. The staff here are super friendly and helpful, really making you comfortable like being at home and never hesitated to share tips about the region. the room is spacious, clean, well equipped with nice hot shower. I’d recommend it to anyone traveling to Meknes for more than a day trip!

It is a place located quite centrally, not so far from gare and in the middle of medina. The rooftop view is amazing during sunset and to listen azaan all day long. I stayed one night and it was a comfortable stay.

Great location. Breakfast was good. Room a weird shape but worked. Only downside was the lumpy weird bed.

lovely staff, great rooftop room and the guitar was a bonus

The staff were exceptionally kind, friendly, and helpful. I asked for a recommendation of a driver to Volubilis and the driver they provided was very nice and reliable. Location was great. Room was very quiet and comfortable.
Some simple improvements could be made to the room, like adding coat hooks or coat hangers and fixing the toilet seat. Breakfast started at 9 and it would have been nice to have the option to start earlier.

The breakfast was one of the more serious and bountiful hotel breakfasts I've had in a long time.
The staff got me a good deal on a day trip by private car to the Roman ruins at Volubilis nearby.

Beautiful and old example of a traditional Dar. The windows of the room are to the inside of the building but there is a fan in the room. the beds are a bit hard but it is a nice experience of a traditional bedroom. wooden doors and a lovely scent of cedar wood. those interested in traditional house will be satisfied.
the bathroom is a bit old looking, but it is a part of experience. all you need is a hot shower anyway :)

One of us was very sick and Mohammed has helped us a lot with getting medicin and support. It was awesome and we are so thankful for that!

They were nice after the initial mess
Changed Riad's, when I get there I have a guy across the street waiting for me telling me there was a change in the riad. I ask for confirmation trough Booking chat, I get around half hour of excuses and convincing that it was all legit. Finally I get a promisse that I will get a confirmation trough the Booking's chat. I got it, it was all legit, the guy turned out to be very nice, but it isnt exactly what you want to be met with after hours & hours of travel

Amazing view from the terrace one of the highest points in the city and the location is great
Tap on the shower was unstable

Very friendly Mohammed welcomed us, he even played some guitar and sang.
The rooftop terrace is great, when the heat is less, its nice to stay there and watch lots of storks flying by. Also the call for prayer is awesome when u sit on the rooftop.
The breakfast is typically moroccan, with different kinds of bread with honey and some baked eggs, fresh orange juice and nice mint tea.
As with lots of places in Morocco, I'm not a fan of the shower/toilet being so close to eachother. But everything was very clean, so that's a plus :-)

The location is great. Breakfast starts at 9am, so if you want to catch an early bus or train you won’t be able to have it.
We had no bin in our room and the air condition was leaking water, it dropped a lot, we almost filled 2 bottles of water with it. When we got back from our day the whole floor was wet including my backpack. When I went down to see someone for that in the evening no one was there. There was also no pillow case or linen to cover yourself or use as a blanket, therefore I used the towel as a bed cover.

Mohammed and his sister was extremly friendly, and halpfull. The breakfast was delicious, the panorama and the location perfect. Lot of tanks to host us ❤❤. We really recommend for everyone to stay there!!
