The service was fast and friendly but I liked how it was before the pandemic, there was more choices and better variety
The guy at the reception was kind of grumpy when asked for something, the bellboy was awesome and went out of his way to help

The hotel is well located and breakfast is a plus and it was very good.
The only thing It caught my attention was the facade of the hotel from the outside. It needs some upgrade.

I like the room lay out and the beds are very comfortable.
The room smelled bad when we entered and there’s not hot water for showering.

Staff was excellent. We needed items for flight back to USA printed. Both our covid results and attenuation forms. They helped with both. The breakfast was excellent.

The breakfast was OK
The confirmation email from the hotel stated that our room had a spa bath. On arrival in the evening the room were were allocated a room without a spa bath. We went down to reception and was greeted by some pretty rude staff. One of which said ‘they wouldn’t understand’ and walked away (We speak Spanish so did understand). After some back and forth we were moved to a room with a spa bath although the tap didn’t work, we went down to reception and again met with a rude response, this time the lady on reception laughed at us after stating the tap didn’t work. We were told to fill the bath up using the shower! On top of all of this there was no hot water and the restaurant was closed at 19:30/20:00 despite a sign in the room saying it was open until 22:00

The bed was comfortable, The room was clean.
There was no water in the room. The restaurant, which they advertise is open 24/7, was NOT open, not when I arrived and not at 6:00 the next morning. There was a problem with the lock on the first room they put me. It wasn't very secure. The room number is on the key you get, so if someone steals your key or you lose it, whoever has it knows what room it's to.

Fabulous location, exceptionally clean, good air-conditioning, comfortable bed. I slept very well there.
Their page on Booking.com says their restaurant is open 24 hours a day. It was not open when I got there at 8 p.m. and did not open again until 7 a.m. I had to leave the hotel without breakfast at 6 a.m. THE ROOM KEYS ARE MARKED WITH THE ROOM NUMBER! If I had lost the key, whoever found it would know what room the key was for. I did not get my wakeup call. Fortunately, I used my phone's alarm as backup. There was only one electrical in the entire room, and that was in the bathroom. What if I had needed to use a laptop that needed charging?! I had to be given a second room because, in the first room, the metal hardware in door jamb came completely loose when I opened the door, and I could not close the door again. There wasn't a plastic cup in the bathroom or a bottle of water in the room. That's important in Guayaquil because you cannot drink the water from the tap. Having said all this, I would still stay there again.
