Welcome to the Retro Getaway in the heart of downtown Columbus! This historic home is just 1 block away from High Street in the iconic bustling Short North and sleeps up to 12 people. Explore the shops and eateries downtown, and then step into a unique 2-bedroom home and oasis.

The Space:
The Retro Getaway is a historic and spacious 4-bedroom, 1-bath unit designed for a unique stay. Our home is a two story unit just steps away from High Street with off-street parking, and includes a WFH area. Designed by a Columbus College of Art & Design alum, our home celebrates its history as a former funeral home, with some fun tropical twists. 1 large bedroom on the main floor, and 3 more bedrooms, living room, and kitchen on the 2nd floor.

Guest Access:
Guests will have full exclusive access to the front unit of the property. The yard and parking space is shared with our neighbors in the apartment in the back of the building.

The Neighborhood:
This property is in the Short North (a highly desirable area near downtown), conveniently located near many attractions and great restaurants. The Short North is a great walkable neighborhood with over 50 bars and restaurants along the High Street corridor. We are surrounded by beautifully restored historic homes, and great city parks such as Goodale Park!

Getting Around:
Uber and Lyft are quick in this area. Lime and Byrd scooters are another great option. There is a bus system with a stop close by.

Other Things to Note:
Guests must provide a valid driver’s license or ID and sign our Rental Agreement after booking to receive arrival instructions. Parties & unauthorized gatherings are strictly prohibited, and hosts reserve the right to withhold arrival instructions of confirmed reservations from guests with negative or low reviews, are under 25 years old and/or live closer than 100 miles from the home at the host's discretion in an effort to ensure the safety and security of our community, (impacted guests will be notified shortly after booking, and a full refund will be provided if the guest cancels the reservation in a timely manner).

PET FEES: Guests are required to disclose how many pets will enter the home. A one-time fee will be required based on the length of stay for the following amounts:

$35 (Less than 5 nights)
$50 (5 - 30 nights)
$100 (30+ nights prorated daily, or $75 for each additional full month booked)
