The views from any of the 5 decks and lower level patios are breathtaking, giving way to utter relaxation. Imagine a cracking campfire under a blanket of twinkling stars only after a day of adventure, good food, or even just a quiet day at home. The back patio, firepit, and gas grill will be at your full disposal.
This vacation retreat is nestled in a secret pocket of Wisconsin, beautiful rolling hills, trout streams, minutes from the Wisconsin River and short drive to the Mississippi River. We are also a full-service Fishing and Hunting Guide. Our guiding business is Bill's Outdoor Network, Captain Bill Ortiz. He does fishing trips on the Mississippi River, Lake Wisconsin, Fox River, Green Bay, and Lake Michigan. Our bow and rifle hunts are also available, please call for more details 608-438-2454.
We are surrounded by nature, the Richland Community Forest is a half mile away which has 400 acres or hiking trails, horseback riding trails and trout stream running through it. There is the Wildcat State Park, Governor Dodge State Park, Blackhawk County Park all have fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, horseback riding, hiking, and cross-country skiing and are all within an hour drive. We are only a hour drive from Madison, Wisconsin Dells, Prairie Du Chien and LaCrosse. The House on the Rock and American Players Theatre are about a 30-minute drive. Our home offers endless opportunities and entertainment. (PLEASE NOTE: ALL WILDLIFE MOUNTS AND DISPLAYS WILL BE REMOVED BEFORE YOUR STAY. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF REDECORATING AND UPGRADING AREAS TO ENHANCE YOUR STAY)
