We loved staying here with our adult sons. We all had our own bedroom and bathroom space. There were lovely, well-landscaped outdoor areas to gather and when it was warm, we hung out in the kitchen area. (There are three bedrooms without the one in the kitchen, but this was a beautiful bedroom/ kitchen area as well.) The property is even more lovely than the pictures online, with views of the city and a slice of the ocean from the highest patio. The beds and pillows were comfortable. It was clean and the manager responded immediately and with great kindness when we asked questions. At first I wasn’t sure about the neighborhood, but it is safe and the neighbors were kind. It was located just off the Malecon and the ocean, where it seems everyone—families, couples, tourists come every night to walk in the cool air, sit and visit, exercise, or let kids play in the plaza. There’s even a nearby shop where you can rent a scooter, bike, or roller blades to use along the Malecon. The only negatives would be that there are a lot of keys to keep track of—two locking gates into the property and ones to each of the bedrooms, just important to be clear who has what. Also the kitchen mostly has a toaster oven and also a small plug-in two-burner stove, which we inadvertently damaged, but it wasn’t easy to use. Therefore, we ate out more than we had expected—OK because everything we ate was delicious! Water pressure issues were to be expected in that area. Definitely would stay again!
