It wasn’t too crowded. The continental breakfast was perfect. Love the staff, so friendly and welcoming.
The only thing I can say is that the pool could have used more coverage from the sun. Other than that, perfect!

The Posada Luna/Sol Hotel is BEAUTIFUL! The entire hotel, for me, functioned as a WORK OF ART! The Mexican folk-decor is just so lovely, with the walls the yellow-orange-brown Indian or Mexican spices, and wonderful ceramic wall tiles place all over the hallways and even on the stairs; bougainvillea climbing one wall, coconut and fan palms; a lovely swimming pool, murals...and a delicious poolside breakfast each morning! Ricardo, the owner/manager is friendly, accessible, healthful, and interesting! He also runs a Wilderness Outfitting operation right from the hotel, 7 months a year. This hotel, by itself, brought me to great joy on several separate occasions when I needed the boost!
It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator in the room.
It took me some time to figure out a way to make my trip work, logistically. The hotel is about a mile from the "happening" downtown area where the cafes, etc are, that I wanted to go to. I had intended to walk each morning along the Malecon, the waterfront walking path; and back to the hotel, maybe even twice a day. But the heat prevented any long walks except fairly early in the morning. However, UBER, which I had not previously used and which a fellow hotel guest recommended to me when I shared my logistical plight with him, was a WONDER! I told one of my UBER drivers who picked me up from a downtown location on a hot afternoon and had me back at the hotel in 10 minutes: UBER saves lives! It is true!
Ps; There are no actual food stores close to the hotel (a convenience store, OXXO, is fairly close, with limited food choices.) I was getting mild stomach discomfort from a couple of restaurants. UBER also helped in that regard. I found a terrific open-air produce market in the downtown area, and was able to eat safely, my last night. Had I stayed longer, UBER might have helped me to get other kinds of food, as well.

Breakfast, Location and privacy of yard and swimming pool area.
Aged facilities in bathrooms, toilet was not functioning properly.

Staff was friendly. The breakfast was good, with options for cereal and freshly-made eggs and ham, beans, tortillas. The coffee was good. The service was good. Overall, charming.
Whoever they hired to photograph the hotel knows how to sell -- the appearance of the facility and our room was not up to the standard visualized. Our room was upstairs, but there was no offer to help bring up luggage. Couldn't put toilet paper in the toilet due to fragile plumbing, per a note in the bathroom. To air the room overnight we needed to keep the window open, but car exhaust drifted in from the street. Ugh. The AC worked well but was too loud to leave on while sleeping.

This was a lovely spot and I wish we had know about it when we went through La Paz the first time. It was very nicely appointed and the breakfast was great. We really liked all the decor and the pool area and patio were so nice!

Wi fi electric sockets. Not all worked for my hair dryer

The full breakfast was wonderful. Also, it was nice to have beach towels available from the front desk. Noise was a problem our first night with music blaring nearby until 4 am. However, the second night it was quiet. Restaurants and the Malecon are within walking distance. La Paz has everything you could need. I loved the art work on the walls at this hotel.
Neighborhood noise the first night. The walls are not insulated very well.

Rooms comfortable, spacious, and immaculately clean. Nice breakfast. Pleasant outdoor spaces. Very quiet.
Slightly grubby pool. Location a bit far from center of town. Would be great if you had a car - there’s lots of parking and it’s near the main road. Not ideal if you don’t.

The location was perfect for me because it was near my dentist & an easy walk. The bed & bedding was very comfortable and the staff was great.
The communal kitchen & facilities had only a working microwave & property needs updating for the price.
