Just a half of a block from Magazine Street, a 6 mile stretch of boutique shops, art galleries, antique stores, great restaurants, bars and any essentials one would need, this Fabulous studio-style apartment was just restored and has its own private entrance through the front porch of the house.
The space
Inside you will find, hi-end furnishings and finishes, a queen size Tempurpedic bed, 42" smart TV with cable, independent AC/Heat controls, cute kitchenette with microwave, keurig coffee maker, electric kettle and French press, sleek private bathroom, luxurious sheets and towels, desk to work at with storage drawers for clothes, and cafe table with seating for two to enjoy your morning coffee and paper.

Other things to note
Many Mardi Gras parades pass within just few blocks of the house. You can hear the bands in the beginning of the parade, grab your go-cup and catch a fabulous show. Note: These parades shut the streets down and getting around outside of the neighborhood could be difficult.

I was attending a conference in the CBD and wanted to stay off site and see what this neighborhood was like and use public transportation to commute. The property was perfect. Super clean, had everything I needed for a 5 night stay and Gino was great. The neighborhood was safe and I was able to use either the magazine street bus or the st Charles streetcar. There was a grocery store around the corner and tons of restaurants. Overall could not have asked for a better experience.

We liked the location, easily walkable to many restaurants and bars. Used the trolley to get to the French Quarter. Didn't need to worry about driving.

We were in town for graduation ceremonies at Tulane. Our location was convenient to all activities; transportation and Uber cars were easy to arrange. The Garden District was perfect for us, quiet and out of the way of downtown with plenty of good restaurants within a few blocks walking. Great place to stay in New Orleans.

Our stay was amazing. The room was quaint and clean. It’s an easy walk to St Charles to catch the streetcar (a day pass is only $3) to the quarter. We were able to park on Friday and didn’t drive until our checkout time on Monday morning without using Uber. Very convenient for the parades on Magazine St. Gino is a fantastic host.

Our stay was great. Parking was just steps away on the street in front of the gate, or off on the side street. It's a large room with its own attached bathroom. Entry and exit were easy. Quiet and plenty of room to reorganize your belongings.

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend before Mardi Gras. It was a perfect location to see uptown parades. It's in a beautiful area close to many restaurants and bars. We liked being able to get away from the craziness of the French quarter but we're still close enough to walk, take transit or uber for a reasonable price to get there.
The host was great to check up on us and even left us some Mardi Gras goody bags for thos special occasion.

We loved the property! Everything about it was classic New Orleans for an authentic atmosphere! Had everything we needed ❤️

We had a great time at this lovely vintage home. Great area to walk to restaurants and parades.
Our only issue would be the home doesn’t have the numerical address on the house like all the others and the only photo online of the exterior was of the general area and not the home.
Thankfully someone happened to come outside and gave us the information we needed to get to the property door. Other than that we had a wonderful stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The room is spacious with lovely decor. Despite being a room off of a residence, it felt very private and quiet. The location is fantastic, just one block off from Magazine St. Lots of great shopping and restaurants within easy walking distance, and it's quick to walk up and catch a cable car stop for travel to either side of town. We would definitely stay here again for future trips to New Orleans.
