Much Retro style but not too much. Plenty of amenities and a great location. Super easy stay. Open, airy rooms without an open floor plan so were not on top of each other. Again they did a great job of keeping the retro vibe but not making it kitschy.

We felt right at home and so did our dog. The house was clean, beds were comfortable and we appreciated the washer and dryer. The neighborhood is great for long walks. Quiet and peaceful. We did have a few items that were reported to be fixed. The house was located close enough to a grocery store, Air 20 minutes from MI Adventure and quick drive to the beaches and downtown area.

We loved this mid century modern house. The kitchen and bathroom were newly renovated. The house was well appointed with all the necessary, kitchen tools, plus things you may have forgotten in the bathroom. They even have a storage area in the hallway for dog towels and other necessities. The beds are quite comfortable. and the linens were soft. We were in close proximity to restaurants and the beach. Highly recommend!

we ENJOYED much: ESP mid century vibe, main bath, kitchen, living area, back porch, washer dryer and bonfire. Yet it absolutely needed renovations affecting security which led to 3 vs 5 star review. Owner MUST address back yard sliding door from the back porch to the patio . NO way to lock securely at that back entrance by kids bedroom which left us, your guests, vulnerable to break in. That back porch slider also was filled with bugs and dirt and the slider glass doors rigged and held in place by duct tape where bugs and dirt accumulate into the track of the doors caused difficulty to open/close & looked gross. The porch floor was also buckling up so we could not sit at the kitchen bar counter w/stools -maybe water leaking from dishwasher?/ so the entire back porch floor and sliding doors need to be gutted and renovated BEFORE you allow more guests to stay there.
Other doors: master bedroom closet doors struggle to open also the built in drawers . That room doorhad to be forced closed. The middle bedroom by bathroom was stuffy and hot with no way to cool it other than leave the door open while sleeping which meant no privacy. The yard needed attention when we arrived -dog poop in yard, webs, bugs in front door and car port -it could be an an amazing 5 star stay once fix back porch and back sliding doors and remove rusted and broken iron deck furniture. The kid bedroom need different headboards so that they can be combined into one large bed when all guests are adult.

Always Summit worked out well for the out-of-town family visiting for our grandsons 2nd birthday! We had 5 adults and 1 fur baby staying for an extended weekend and we were very comfortable. Our host responded quickly with any question that we had, which weren’t many! The house was stocked with everything needed for our stay; plenty of linens, kitchenware, spices and some condiments in the fridge! Restaurants and shopping are very convenient to this property, we found some new favorites that we will visit again! We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.

The house was comfortable, nicely decorated and had a well fitted-out kitchen. We enjoyed the many thoughtful amenities: laundry detergent, many coffees and teas, several throws and a dog blanket to name a few.

Stayed w my husband and two teens girls, one of which is a first year student at GVSU. It was family weekend on campus but my daughter wanted to get away from the crowds so we spent the weekend here w the dogs. Not only are dogs welcome but the hospitality towards them was appreciated! Blankets for couches, extra bowls, towels , pooper scoopers.
We also appreciated the “oops I forgot it” drawer in the bathroom :)
We didn’t have much planned other than exploring the coast, so it was a good location at a fair price.would recommend !

Our goal for this short trip was to visit the Lake Michigan coast with our daughter who lives in Michigan temporarily. This place was more than we needed, but it allowed the three of us to really relax after day trips. The living room was comfortable, the sun room was pleasant and the patio was relaxing. The beds were also comfortable and even though we did not eat in, the kitchen was very nice. I also liked to overall appearance of the house with it’s mid-century esthetic.

The home has several updates and was very clean and comfortable. The property manager was very communicative and timely with responses. We appreciated the little extras in the kitchen and bathroom that other VRBO's don't provide. The only recommendation would be to replace the sliding door which is beyond end of life and not the easiest to open/close. Having said that, it would not detract us from staying here again or sway us from a 5 star review.

We all loved our stay. The ac went out right before we were scheduled to arrive and Brenda made sure it was fixed and running properly before we arrived -- which was so appreciated since it was in the 90s for our entire stay! And as others have mentioned the kitchen truly does have everything. Highly recommend for a chill quiet time away from home especially if you have dogs. And if you don't have dogs and are concerned that this is a "dog" house cleanliness wise there were no traces of previous dogs. Enjoy.

Property had plenty of space for the kids to enjoy (two 2yo's). Kids enjoyed a couple of the snacks Brenda graciously left for our stay. Brenda was very helpful in providing a couple pack-n-plays and a highchair which cut down a lot on the amount of things to pack. The kids loved playing with the activity center. Fireplace outside was relaxing. Overall, positive experience.

This was off the beaten path and a bit further than we usually stay when we visit Grand Haven, but it was perfect for us. It was very comfortable with everything we needed and then some. I don't think I thought once, "hmm, I wish they had that". I was pleased with everything and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

A wonderful home in a safe neighborhood. My teenagers enjoyed all the small details (aka snacks) the home offered. We had a lovely stay and will definitely rent again!
