Prime location - just a 10 minute walk to South Shore and Goosewing Beaches! Magnificent 2 acre private lot perfect for all your outdoor activities including a fire pit!
Large two level deck with tables and chairs as well as built in bench seating and a a gas grill. The decks overlook a huge backyard with lots of room for outdoor games, as well as lots of nooks and crannies for enjoying some privacy.
The "Phinney Pharm" is an old-fashioned farmhouse with a large kitchen with all the amenities and an attached breakfast and sitting room (with 55" television). Along with the kitchen and sitting room, the first floor features a large living room, dining room and television room with a mural of Little Compton's landscape by a local artist.
The second floor has a master bedroom with a private bathroom, as well as 2 bedrooms that share a half-bath. The third floor has one bedroom and a full bathroom.
Besides the beach being just down the street, the Phinney Pharm is just around the corner from Wishingstone Farm stand which has been operating for more than 40 years. They have an incredible assortment of organic and conventional fruits and vegetables as well as pies, breads and quiches from local bakers. Little Compton's other farmstands are less than 10 minutes away by car. Fresh lobsters are available from Sakonnet Lobster Co., a 10 minute drive.
The Little Compton Commons - the center of town - is less than 3 miles. In town you will find Wilbur's General Store which carries pretty much anything you need, a family restaurant -The Commons Lunch, A-1 Pizza, Post Office, Bank and ATM as well as the Community Center and the Brownell Library which always has something going on.
There are also 3 churches right in the Commons for Catholic, Episcopal or Congregational Worship.
The "Pharm" is a 10 minute drive to Sakonnet Point where you can buy fresh lobster or launch your boat or kayak to explore Sakonnet Harbor and view Newport across the river as well as the Sakonnet Lighthouse.
Little Compton is biker's paradise (bicycle), so be sure to bring your bikes!
