1-night stay to visit friends Would have liked on-site breakfast

The hotel is very clean. Although there were many air fresheners in the hallways that set off my allergies. Front desk staff on arrival was extremely friendly. There was no one at the front desk for our departure.

Rooms were clean and recently renovated. Front desk was so friendly and helpful.

We had a quick stay while visiting collages for our son. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, great location and the staff were so nice! Would definitely stay there again.

Very nice place.

Check in was quick and easy. The room was large and clean. It was easy to get to, right off the highway. We definitely needed more pillows than were available, and they didn't have any extras. We also needed more towels than were provided.

Beautifully remodeled. The lobby and pool area is gorgeous and modern. The rooms are spacious with a large refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker(single cup unfortunately) and sink. The bathroom has nice fixtures and is elegant.

Our first stay, and we are glad we selected Home Towne Studios. The lobby is bright, spacious, and welcoming. The reservation staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby, hallways, and our room were clean and decorated nicely. The full-size fridge in the room was helpful. In an area with nearby places to eat.

The hotel was generally okay, but the overpowering smell of bleach or some other chemical when you enter was very unpleasant and off-putting.
Our room (#104) had a King bed, but unfortunately, the HVAC system wasn’t working. I called the front desk late at night, and while the staff member said maintenance could look at it in the morning, she also offered to move us to another room. However, no King bed rooms were available, and since it was already past midnight and we were exhausted, we decided to stay in the room we had paid for.
The next morning, we reminded the front desk about the HVAC issue, but when we returned for our second night, the problem still wasn’t fixed. The room remained hot and stuffy, making it uncomfortable to sleep.
When I politely raised the issue again during checkout, the front desk staff was dismissive, responding with, ‘But you were offered another room.’ While this was technically true, there were no King rooms available, and her attitude made me feel as if I was being unreasonable for expecting the issue to be resolved. I found this response to be quite rude and unhelpful.

We needed overnight accomodations to rest up for the last leg of our trip. The property was tidy, the lobby and our room were updated and very clean. The hallway had that 'hotel pool ' odor. The pool was closed for repairs. The hallway carpet wasn't clean.

When we got there to check in, we were told they had overbooked and then we were offered a place at the nearby red roof inn. The other hotels in town were all booked so we didn’t have much of a choice for the night. HomeTowne Studios promised us refund for the inconvenience. The red roof inn was terrible! We never got the promised refund from HomeTowne studios. I tried calling but they never answered. I went through Hotels.com and they were able to get us a partial refund, but not what we were told we would be getting. I appreciate Hotels.com trying to fix the problem, but I will not stay in a HomeTowne suites in the future - they clearly don’t keep their word.

We booked a stay way in advance. When we went to check in they gave our room away. The room was paid for in FULL. They did give us a refund. However, i had to drive 30 minutes out of the way to find another hotel that cost double the price. When I called red roof in customer service and explained the situation they told me "check in is at 4 and you didnt check in, in time, so we gave your room away."

This hotel was still being renovated when we stayed but the room were clean and updated. No breakfast.

There are two Red Roof Inns next to each other. This one with the conference center appears to be much nicer. It was a bit confusing upon arrival. The hotel is new and clean, and the service was great. There were some loud people in the hall late at night, and I could hear the hotel staff quickly address the noise issue.

Property was clean and updated. One clerk to do check ins at two properties? Guest’s laughing and screaming in the halls and outdoor area well after midnight.

Excellent moderate accommodations. Extra clean, quiet, super friendly staff. Large refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker.Walking distance to numerous restaurants, grocery stores, dollar stores and coffee shops. Convenient to I-81. Only downside was the indoor pool was being worked on and wasn't open.

Excellent front desk employees. Clean, largely quiet renovated building. Pool was closed. Rooms are clean but very basic. Excellent bedding. WiFi decent. No in-room safe. No elevator to second floor which could have been problematic for disabled individuals. I had a ten day stay and nothing was mentioned about housekeeping frequency on check-in. After the 4th night I had to ask the front desk to have my room refreshed particularly because I had no additional towels. Housekeeping then occurred irregularly until check out.

Great service. The room was clean

The hotel itself is very nice. It is always clean and the staff is great. However, this trip, I could not take a hot shower as the water was like warm at best which was not ideal especially after working a 16 hour nursing shift. Also, there was a leak in our bathroom ceiling which was dripping through the lights. We were offered another room to shower in but again not ideal after working a double shift.

Pool was not open, but didn't expect there to be one. Note that there is no elevator. Otherwise, the stay was wonderful. Taco Bell and Starbucks are a short walk away. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I tried to book my wife in a few days later, but no vacancy. I wish I could find this value everywhere!

Great property. Renovations and room size was wonderful.

Great spot for college drop off. Rooms were clean.

The property is nice, and new, but there is a lot of walking and stairs if you’re staying on the second floor. Very poor layout with stairwells. It’s a very long walk to certain rooms and you can’t use a luggage cart upstairs, so that’s useless. The pool was not open for some reason, and I noticed that the room itself had an ironing board and iron but no plug to plug it in! They were hardly any plugs in the room.
There’s a huge mirror in the room entrance but you can’t get ready there and dry your hair or plug in a curling iron because there is no electrical outlets there! The iron and ironing board in the room are useless because there’s nowhere to plug them in. this room was not well thought out. Also, there is no lighting in the kitchen area.

You can tell there were recent updates done to the property, as the hallways and rooms were freshly painted. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where there isn’t carpeting on the floor in the actual room, as there was vinyl flooring but I’m sure that’s easier to maintain and upkeep.

the staff was great and the room was spacious and clean- the only negative was the AC was bizarrely loud. When it went on and off - it woke me up a couple of times

The hotel and room were clean except for some crumbs and cut fingernails on the floor in the room. Other than that, it was fine! The beds and pillows were comfortable. The staff was pleasant.
2.0 / 5.0
Although the property itself was okay and the room was sufficient, the pool was closed which was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel. We were also awaken at midnight with a fire alarm and had to evacuate the building in the rain... Not an ideal experience.
2.0 / 5.0
The hotel is new or newly renovated so that was nice, but it is a bit bare bones. There was a very bright flood light right outside our window that allowed light in all night. In addition the dispensers in the shower did not work well. Either the body wash was empty or the dispenser did not work, and there was a combo shampoo/conditioner that left me wanting separate conditioner. I usually travel with my own but it was a quick one night stay.
1.0 / 5.0
We stayed only the first of the planned three nights. The room had no window to the outside. The A/C couldn't be turned off, or the temperature was set higher than the dialed in 68 F. The fridge and A/C made a humming noise, which only subsided after midnight. There was no place to set down any toiletry items around the sink, and the shower curtain was so short that the floor got wet when using the shower.

Thr facility and room are clean. No breakfast, but that is okay as there are many options within walking distance.
First night we are awaken by an alarm. This ead not hotel's fault. Someone smoked in the room, although we initialed a statement when we signed un regarding smoking will incur a $150 penalty.

Clean and close to campus

The hotel was newly renovated and comfortable. The only issue I want to add is the fact that they do not keep all entrance doors locked during the day and evening. Which can be a security issue for its customers.

There's no elevator. The property talks abou t how accesible it is but there's no elevator!

Selected this hotel because despite having a kitchenette the price was considerably less than nearby hotels. Our room was great and the staff even helped make my son's first visit from the tooth fairy extra special! Will definitely stay again!
