Casa Eden is a very well equipped villa, with a large swimming pool and sea view, it includes 6 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms (including 4 en suite), large living spaces inside (2 living rooms, 1 dining room and a large games room), and outside (several terraces, pergola, lawn around the swimming pool, pétanque court).
It is located, quietly, on a hill, in a fenced plot of 1 hectare. 60 km from Faro airport , in an authentic region and less saturated in summer than the rest of the Algarve, 8 km from the beaches (15 minutes, no traffic, parking available ), and 15 km from Tavira and Vila Real de Santo Antonio, 2 charming and lively towns.

· Bike (mainly road, I don't really know the mountain bike options): Be careful, it goes downhill to go and the sea, therefore, it goes uphill to get home. Between the two, there are beautiful landscapes of orange orchards in particular. The further you get from the sea, the more it goes up and down, with beautiful views of semi-desert landscapes. Bike rental: Turfortes (Monte Gordo 14 km) they can drop off and pick up bikes.
· PR1 VSR Boa Vista hiking circuit, which passes next to the house:
· Longest “cross-border zip line “ in Europe: Alcoutim (48 km). “Zero Limit”

· Craft market. Vila Nova de Cacela (5 km) , 3rd Sunday of the month (the most important in the region)
· Ecological products from the farm (it also has a restaurant, quite original) Quinta Da Fornalha (11 km), honey, jams…

· Pezinhos na Areia (Praia Verde, 7 km): “hut” on the beach. A little expensive but well located. So for information.
· Casa Velha ( Cacela Velha , 7 km). Excellent regional cuisine (I love their razor clam rice). Book absolutely in season
· Fábrica do Costa (Praia da Fábrica). Nice place to eat grilled fish. We haven't been there recently.
· Casa de Pasto Fernanda e Campinas: closest to the house (2km), popular restaurant much appreciated by locals
· Restaurant Noelia (13 km, Cabanas de Tavira ) creative regional cuisine,
· There are also many restaurants to discover in Tavira and Vila Real Santo Antonio (list to be created)
Further expeditions (with the highway, it's quite fast)
· Silves : (100km) beautiful medieval town (8th century castle, cathedral, with Gothic interiors and 13th century vaults).
· Village Ferragudo (100 km), (we recommend the fish restaurant: Borda do Cais ) to pair with a walk on the cliff (spectacular views) and rest on the beautiful beach: Praia dos Caneiros (off season, saturated in summer)
- Praia da Falésia (70km ), considered in 2024 as the most beautiful beach in the world by Traveller's Choice
· Lagos (130 km), charming town, boat trips along the high karst cliffs
· Monchique (125km): charming spa town located on the largest mountain in the Algarve
· Fortress of Sagres (150 km), tip of Portugal, cradle of Portuguese navigators. Spectacular views, spot for surfers

· The municipal market of Vila Real de Santo António: open every morning, except Sunday. Very good fish.
· Supermarkets : Intermarché (10 km), Pingo Doce (10 km, Portuguese), Continente Modelo (16 km, Portuguese), among others, along the national road 125

· Tap water is not treated (comes from drilling in the land), it is recommended to buy bottles of water for consumption.
· Swimming pool : don't forget to pull the cover out when not in use. It limits evaporation (water is a rare commodity in the region) and it keeps the water at the right temperature.
· Air conditioning : remember to open the windows in the morning before it gets too hot then close them, as well as the blinds, during the day. The house stays cool and turning on the air conditioning is not necessary.
· Toilet paper: The house is equipped with a mini-purification plant, in order to recover water for watering. Preferably choose “ecological” toilet papers
· Do not throw anything other than paper in the toilet to avoid incidents that could spoil your stay
