No problems with this stay. A large hotel. Our room was clean and comfortable but the furniture had signs of wear. Excellent complimentary breakfast and we were well taken care of by the breakfast lady Nicole - so friendly and helpful.

The hotel itself wasn't horrible (just so-so) but the area was sketchy. Lots of not-so-desirable people were hanging outside the front doors, smoking. The front doors are locked 24/7 so I guess they have to do that to keep them from coming inside. The staff were great - very friendly and attenive - but I wouldn't stay there again.

I like that there was security in the hotel at all times walking the hallways, as this is in a rough part of the city. The hotel has been redone, except for the ceiling in the breakfast room, which is pretty badly stained in areas. I would definitely stay there again. The staff are just so friendly and courteous.

My partner and I have been choosing to stay here when coming to Saskatoon on medical trips for a few years now. The rooms are clean and comfy, we enjoy the free breakfast as well as the option of the Ricki’s attached to the hotel. Staff is always friendly and helpful and it’s a great budget friendly stay for 1-2 nights. This time however we noticed there was increased police presence in the area as well as some houseless people that we never usually see around the hotel. There appears to be increased security within the lobby by enforcing use of hotel room keys to get into the main doors. Not to assume that all houseless individuals are violent or drug users, but some of the ones around the hotel definitely did appear to be intoxicated, a couple were fighting in the parking lot and when we returned to the hotel in the evening after supper we had to walk by a group of people clearly drinking and smoking weed in the parking lot (it could be seen/smelled) which is unfortunate. This is not really the hotels fault and more a social/political issue, but it is unlikely we will book here again if we have our children with us. Additionally, the parking situation is a bit sketchy because of the increase in individuals in the parking lot area which did make us feel unsafe for our vehicle. Again this is understandably out of the hotels control however it felt worth mentioning. We are sad because this hotel is conveniently located for most of our needs when we’re in the city.

Very deceiving as the hotel is much larger inside than it looks from the outside. It was clean and comfortable. The only downside was the heater in the room was old and very loud and made it hard to sleep. Good value though and free breakfast was better than most.

Room was clean and mostly comfortable. Couch was very worn. Rooms were supposed to be cleaned on the third day but mine was not. I was checking out the next day so didn't bring it up with front desk, it was too late to have it cleaned. Breakfast was pretty decent, lots of choices and I enjoyed most of it. Ample parking and convenient location. Heard a commotion outside my door at 4am from fellow guests but heard a staff member come to address it almost immediately.
