Great location not far from the park entrance. Great amenities.

Lighting in the room is terrible!! And no counter in the bathroom to put your makeup on or set a curling iron down anywhere.
In town for a wedding and couldn’t see to put makeup on. Had to do my hair sitting on the floor near a plug in for the curling iron. No magnification mirror.
Would not be a good place for a bride or bridal party to get ready!!

The check-in staff was accommodating, welcoming, and made sure our check-in was flawless. This hotel is in great proximity to key sights around within Yosemite and had plenty of amenities on site to keep the family busy.

We traveled with another couple and arrived early at 2pm. The other couples room was ready and they checked in. We were told we’d get a text and our room would be ready soon. At 330 I checked back and told it still was not ready. We would receive a text. At 530, still no text I checked back and told our room was finally ready.

Our stay was amazing! We love everything about the place. I did wish we had a microwave in the room. We had expensive leftovers that we couldn't heat up. That was the only disappointing thing I would say.

Before booking and arriving, I had several phone calls as well as email contacts with the property. I was NOT told the truth about what the "cottage" was. We got there and it was basically a hotel room with two beds that was located away from the main lodge. I am handicapped and this place was in no way ADA compliant. To top that off, there is a soft spot in the floor that we were afraid to walk on, no handrails in the bathroom, paint is peeling. They did offer to move us to a 2 bedroom cottage, though both bedrooms are upstairs and I can't climb stairs. The next offer was a one bedroom with a sleeper sofa. What!!! The only redeeming thing about this place was our server at breakfast, a young man named Byron. They should make him manager or at least put him in charge of training people on customer service and courtesy. I'd hire that young man in a heartbeat. He almost made up for the rest of the awful stay.

Huge, luxury, resort styled hotel. Family and couple friendly, not for solo traveler. Great for Dining and shops open by 10pm.

Pool area and hot tub was enjoyable! Decent food at restaurant. Convenient to south entrance of Yosemite. WiFi was problematic—no decent network.

Pros - family friendly amenities including a game room (though several of the machines were broken), well-maintained grounds, and close to the park entrance (about an hour’s drive to the main sights).
But, they need to train their staff better for $400/night. We arrived at 2pm and were told that check in wasn’t until 4 but they would prioritize our room and text when it was ready. By 4:15 we still didn’t get a text - so much for the priority. It wasn’t until our entire family unpacked that we realized the AC wasn’t kicking on. During a heat wave, this should be checked with every room turnover. We were assigned a new room without an apology, and after packing up our stuff we entered a room that smelled like an ashtray. When we called down to the front desk, the response was “this is a non smoking hotel”, as if we were liars. They ended up sending up a young employee and his first reaction was “whoa someone’s definitely been smoking in here.” Again no apology from the front desk, just handed us a new key. We later asked to talk to a manager and she offered us breakfast vouchers, but it soured our first day.
We requested housekeeping and they never came - called the front desk and again no apology. They also told us if we want anything more than trash removal we need to specify, which is odd for a so-called 4 star hotel.
Overall they have the ingredients of a lovely hotel, but need to improve service.

Ideally located just a few miles from Yosemite's south entrance. Rooms were nicely appointed and spacious. We liked the choice of amenities too, from 2 looks, archery, fire pits, and live piano music in the lobby during the evening. Jackalope Restaurant had good food for both breakfast and dinner. We did not try Embers since it was only open on the weekends and we already had reservations elsewhere. All the staff were friendly and helpful. My only small complaint is the magnifier make up mirror mounted on the wall was obviously mounted by a very tall person. It needs to be at least a foot lower.

This was our first family vacation and we were not disappointed at all. My husband and I were very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. I would have given them 5 starts but the only down fall was the alcohol. For the price they charge, the drinks ordered should not taste more like juice.

This hotel is beautiful! The staff is really friendly, accommodating. & helpful. Everyone smiled and greeted us. The room was really clean, spacious and comfortable. The hotel has a wonderful restaurant. There are numerous walking paths with stunning views. We will definitely be back!

Property is in a beautiful location very quit and literally in the woods! It is about 1hour and a 15 min from the Yosemite village and about 15 min from the park entrance. It has a nice swimming pool for the summer months. Employees were not very welcoming and there was a feeling that they had to force themselves to smile and talk. We went early September and only one restaurant was opened. I believe they should state it in their description as there are not a lot of food options in the area. The food and the service is very good in Jackallope’s restaurant. Many Tesla fast chargers in the facility. The resort is old and we found ants in the room when we came and even more when we left! Toiletries and soaps are the worse so bring yours! Also bring toilet paper as the one they provide is only for scrubbing! If you are particular with sleeping and attached to your pillow, bring it with you, hotel’s are very cheap quality!! A/C was old, very noisy, forcing a lot of air, during night one moment we were cold and the next sweating , making very hard to sleep well! Ask for a single room without a connecting door, first night next room visitors were talking till late and it was like we were all together in the room, NO insulation at all! Finally the bath tub does not have a removable shower head which in my opinion it is unacceptable in year 2024. Unfortunately there are not many resorts like that in the area but certain small improvements need it to justify the cost of the stay!

Great place with an outstanding staff. Everyone is super friendly and committed to the guests.

Wonderful hotel conveniently located 5 minutes from the park entrance. Food options are varied but expensive. The pool area is excellent, but there are many families staying here so not good if you want a quieter experience (at least in August when we stayed).

Perfect location for visiting Yosemite. Friendly staff, helpful and accommodating, clean rooms and newly remodeled. Comfy bedding, coffee machine with daily coffee refills. Nice game room for kids. Nice pool area.
Food was the only huge disappointment. Extremely expensive (they take advantage of the fact that you don’t have an alternative unless you travel to the next town which is quite a drive away), but the worst is not the high price, it’s that portion sizes and quality are really really really bad, the absolute worst is the breakfast buffet, only topped by 120$ for three small pizzas and three drinks (soft drink, a wine and a beer) that were simple frozen industrial ready pizzas served on paper plates and drinks including wine in plastic glasses - an absolute disgrace and waste of money served in an ambience with strong chlorine smell.
