pretty good overall, but the alarm that went off every time the door opened near me was awful.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. We were in the area hunting and was using the hotel as a base camp and resting station. It was great. There was a small issue with the TV. But I let the front desk know and they offered to put us in a different room but the problem wasn't big enough for us to move rooms.

Well, it was a warm shower with a bed and blankets. No fluff. A little pricey, but it is Taos. We were able to park outside the front door each time we left. Breakfast was coffee/tea, cereal, fruit, yogurt and waffles.
Upon walking into our room, the lights were on and the toilet "sanitized" cover was askew, so maybe someone took one look at the room, used the bathroom and said no thanks! There was hair on the bed and no remote or local channels to watch, once I figured out there was a button on the TV to turn it on. Our door was a little rickety, but had that security arm to hold it when we were inside. When we came down the stairs the next morning, there was an open can of beer on the stairs.
But like I said, no frills. if you need a shower and a place to rest your head, this is your hotel.

I am disappointed with the hotel, I will not be staying there again. I could write a list of bad issues if I had the time. One good thing was an employee who could see for himself the problems did his best to make the stay better.

Not good. Not only was I charged by hotels.com for the stay but super8 also charged me. So that is over 300$ for 1 night. Super 8 has said they will refund me but it’s 7 days later and I am still waiting. Additionally I checked this morning and it appears that they charged again instead of refunding me the original.

It was a higher price than usual for a Super 8, and the check in staff was great. The room was adequate, but floor was dirty. There also wasn’t an elevator, and I am having trouble with stairs. At breakfast, the guy was late putting it out, and rude to guests. And the ice machine didn’t work. Very disappointing.

This hotel was very dirty, smelled like pot in the hallways. The electric was out part of the time and I was first denied my room that I had pre booked through Expedia Beware this one

It was just a typical “motel”. A place to rest our head without comfort. Would have rather slept in my vehicle. It felt about the same, uncomfortable. I won’t ever stay here again. I do give it to the staff for making the lobby look presentable even though the rooms aren’t that great. The floors upstairs creaked real bad. You could hear the people walking on the second floor as if they could fall through at any time.
They also charged our card even though we had paid in full on ‘Expedia’. The funds were back into our account the following day after we checked out. That kind of put a damper on our trip, because we went with limited funds and we didn’t know how long it would take for the money to be put back into our bank account. we were left extra limited all weekend. We paid $313 on Expedia then had the card hold $230.
In all honesty, it’s cheaper just to book through the hotel. We paid almost $100 more booking through ‘Expedia’

There was NO problem with cleanliness. The staff at the reception was always super helpful and putting up with our many questions. The breakfast bar was full of variety.
Our only small issue was that the room was ice cold when we arrived BUT THANKFULLY we were able to turn off the air conditioner and from then on we were just right. We had a pleasant stay and would choose it again if we came to Taos again.

First off, I told myself I would NEVER stay at another Super8, anywhere in the USA. BUT, choices were limited when I was booking in March for an August event, which was sold out. So I knew I would have to bite the bullet and stay again at a Super8. That said, We arrived about 15 minutes before the 3pm check-in. The lobby was full of people. That is because they wanted an EXTRA $35 for early check-in. I was already paying $168 for this place. So we waited with the rest. Then once I was checking in at the 300pm time, not all our rooms were available. UGH. Glad I did not pay extra. Once in our rooms, they were missing smoke detectors, coffee pots, or even cups/mugs. There is no literature about facility safety or even WiFi info. The sheets are EXTREMELY thin and there was no mattress cover/protector. I knew this because the thin sheets crept up off the corners of the mattress, which was stained. I would post pictures but there does not seem to be that function. On a positive note, the shower panels were nice and new, and the towels, while not large, were very plush. Shocker. The staff was patient with all the chaos, but not budging on the early check-in. Breakfast was minimal, grab-and-go high-carb items, as expected in lower-end establishments. I wish Wyndham would invest a little money in this segment of their line-up. NOW I will for sure NEVER stay at another Super8. Best of luck.

No closet, room was extremely small. Motel was very noisy. We were awakened at 5:00 am by people yelling and singing in the hall, lots of banging of doors and thumping around on the floors. Also the price was outrageous for what it was, I feel as though we were being gouged due to the concert that was in town.
