Breakfast area was disgusting and out of everything. Black blown outlets by toaster. Heat and air didn't work on our room. Pool area smelt horrible and hot top water was burning. Not sure we will be back

1st the good. The bathroom was clean and in good condition. 2ed the bad. The room had a musty old smell,that after leaving the window open all day never got any better. The entire building was old and tired. The pool was awful looking, with cracks and chipping paint. That being said the water in the pool was wonderful. I'm a retired pool operator and the chemicals' were spot on in both the pool and hot tub. I swam both days I was there. Our bathtub ran so slow that after a Short shower there was 5 inches of water standing in the tub! The house phone didn't work. I reported all of this and the front desk person who took notes said they were waiting on new phones. Said the pool is slated for a total remodel next year. the girl who was at the front was polite and apologetic

Kind of pricy for what was offered. Breakfast was meh and the sauna was broken. Pool needed to be cleaned. Otherwise it was clean and a decent stay.

Great location for an overnight stay traveling through the UP. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfortable with many updates in place. Quiet, with no noise from HWY 2 traffic.

Hot water had the hydrogen sulfide smell. Bathroom door would not lock and the entry door chain was hanging by a single screw. Bed was nice and comfy, good pillows, clean sheets. Rest of the room was nice and clean.

The building may be old, but it is clean and well maintained. I’m traveling on a motorcycle. There was a chance of rain and the manager let me park under the front portico. In all my years of ridding, I can count on one hand how many times that has happened. Had a minor issue with the television, the manager was right there in 2 minutes and fixed it. I would definitely stay there again.

It is very convenient location for us as we drop off our son or pick him up from Bay College. It is quiet and the pool and hot tub are a nice bonus. The breakfast was good too

We checked in late and the lady at the front desk was so amazing and sweet. Very much needed after a very long drive! The room was clean and a bunch of options at breakfast and that was much needed before a big day of hiking!

Nice accommodations and breakfast room. Staff was attentive, professional and courteous. We enjoyed our stay.

Breakfast: food restocker/helper did an awesome job Front desk: - young guy was great and very nice - young lady was nice as well My only concern is, we've always remembered having housekeeping coming in daily to restock, fix our bed, throw our trash. One day we left late and had our door sign "do not disturb" we thought that since we left late, we would let them know that the room is ready to be cleaned just in case they had passed our room already. We kindly told the young lady at the front desk that "we're just letting you know, our room is ready to be cleaned, fix the bed and all that" she replied with a mild disbelief look "didn't she clean your room yesterday?" looked over to another lady and asked her the same question. The lady answered with an expression with a mild scoff saying "did you need your sheets changed again?" We replied "no, just to fix the bed, take the trash out.... if you can and only if you have the time". She replied "yeah, i have the time" while looking down on the desk. Then we thanked them. It was pretty straightforward, but since we don't know how their housekeeping situation, we thought that we should just let them know so we'll have a clean room when we come back. It just felt like we did something wrong or we were bothering them, and that made the conversation uncomfortable, even though we said it all with a smile and a "sorry to bother you" type of tone.

Staff at front desk was EXTREMELY RUDE when checking in! Pet smell was so strong on top of the spray they tried to hide it with it cased a major asthma attack for me! Would never recommend it!
