It was good value for the money. It's old but clean. I don't understand why people rate it 0 out of 5 stars based on what expecting Scotch they are paying for Busch Light. Will stay there again. Being an older hotel, the rooms are pretty soundproof compared to the new places.

Good location and nice hotel. The staff were friendly. We had an upgraded room with hot tub which was very nice.
The booking.com reservation system was not very good. I made my first reservation then cancelled (easier than trying to modify my original) from 3 nights to 2 nights. However, then my itenerary was entirely cancelled. I tried to call the hotel directly to confirm I had the new reservation, but it was nearly impossible to find the actual hotel number (online searches kept linking to booking.com). The continental breakfast was basically premade toaster pancakes, old dry peanut butter, and bagels with NO hot food. Holiday Inn does a much better job with breakfast and I expected more for an "upscale hotel" such as this one.

Location and swimming pool.
Breakfast was a kids delight. Not so much for adults. Very disappointing for a place with a restaurant they don't use.

The location was perfect for the reason we were there: attended the Northern Lights Music Fest.
It was nice that we had a mini fridge and microwave as well.
No room safe, and not the cleanest, but acceptable.
We noticed that the maid staff either was very young, or they had their kids with them which we thought was unusual. Rooms were left propped open while they cleaned other rooms. Thought that was bad practice if those rooms were occupied, but don't know that for certain.
The onsite restaurant was not open and this should be noted on the website since it is a rather small town and everything else closes down by 11pm except for pizza places.

Very friendly staff.

We loved the jetted tub in the room !
Breakfast was acceptable.
The hotel was quiet.
The staff in charge of breakfast wasn't very welcoming. They were looking at their phones instead of taking care of the customers.

I didn't get to have breakfast. I went down there about 6:20 and the doors were locked. I had to leave for the rest of my journey, so I never got to enjoy breakfast before I left.
The room is so wonderful, the jacuzzi was great!
The fireplace in my room (209) did NOT work at all. I tried the timer (I saw the note by the television) but NOTHING turned that fireplace on :( And as I mentioned above, I didn't get any breakfast or coffee in the morning :(

Loved the pool and great location, very close to town.
The restaurant was closed, and the staff didn't know when it would open.

It was clean and quiet. That is about it.
I should have called to see if the pool and restaurant were open. they were closed. Their info online did not mention that. also, the breakfast was not a breakfast, but a continental breakfast., very disappointed. Also, there was no grab bar in the shower, nor was there any rubber mat in the tub. I felt very unsafe. Also, very cheap soap tiny soap bar would not even lather up.

The staff was friendly.
I was splurging for my bday so I booked a King Executive Suite. The cost with tax & fees was $200.00 per night. Considering it was a weeknight, that seemed kinda pricey, but again, I was splurging. Once I was in the room, I started feeling ripped off. It was dated, toiletries were sparse, the hot tub wouldn't drain. & the balcony door wouldn't lock (you'd think someone wouldve noticed that.) When I told the front desk abt the door, they put me in the other king executive suite. While the balcony door at least locked, it felt like a downgrade. Even more dated, toiletries more sparse & it had a smell. Oh & also, though a restaurant & bar are included as features on the site, they're both closed & have been for some time. The entire experience felt like a complete rip-off. My recommendation is to book somewhere else.

Location and the professionalism of the staff - he was top notch! Well dressed, courteous and just plain polished.
Everything. Cold drafty place, (yes, I got the heater figured out), hot water took a long time to get to my room, like 15 minutes. Outdated everything, and I just felt ripped off. This place may have been grand at one time, but it is currently a money pit for the owners and that shows.

Room was cozy for our single king size and location was great.
Rather a bit pricey for what it was (stayed one night and paid $160)

the breakfast was fabulous well stocked
the rooms are tired but clean. there aren’t many electric plugs for charging. it’s overpriced for the condition. can use some TLC upgrades

The coffee was good. Shower was hot.
Need a greater variety of things to choose from at the breakfast buffet. Maybe not so many prepackaged items. Didn't like the old timey security chains on room doors. Also the bedspreads and bedskirts were kind of cheesy.
