This was the worst vacation experience I’ve had in the last 20 years. Your North building (apartments) have a significant sanitation issue, and possibly a sewer management issue as well. The density of insects (ants, flies, cockroaches, beetles, etc) in the room was unacceptable. And your staff don’t seem to care AT ALL, which is perhaps the greatest source of disappointed. If you’re over capacity, and truly unable to accommodate a guest, then offer them a refund. I did find a suitable room elsewhere, and when they heard about my terrible experience at Playa Esperanza, they offered me a free upgrade. They clearly understood the importance of good service, and they have earned all of my future business. I hope for your sake that your management take some steps in the right direction for the health and safety of your guests.

Overall a hotel thats cutting corners, to make money on the smallest of things. It’s far from the exquisite relaxing hotel we stayed at pre covid. That cared for and provided good service to the guests.
Pros
Lovely location right on the beach. The beach stretches for miles. Plenty of sun loungers in and around the hotel pools and gardens. Hotel gardens are well maintained. Small supermarket on site that stocks most things.
Cons
Reception staff are not the friendliest. Everything feels to much trouble. Limited choice of food which is not always restocked. It is very much like a scrum to get food, with everyone pushing and leaning over you. Loud music constantly around the pool area during the day. Restaurant is like a food factory! Feed the guests, pack as many in as you can and let them leave as quickly as possible. Plates are removed from under you as you take the last mouthful. The four poster sun beds have now all been moved to the pool. Sunbathing here is like a hot house! There used to be some in the gardens giving the option for a sheltered location. The redesign of the restaurant removing the comfortable chairs, table cloths and fabric napkins has cheapened the dining experience. It now feels and looks like an upmarket cafe.
very noisy far from a relaxing dining experience it was. We waited 10 mins for soup to be refilled. After room clean it smelt like an old damp cloth. Nothing is coMplimentary not even a glass of water.

Location on the beach is excellent, views are beautiful and parking is free but that’s about it. Overall, it wasn’t good value for what we paid. We expected more from a four star hotel, for example a welcome bottle of water in the room instead of having to buy it at their supermarket, better food and more attentive customer service. Also we found it strange to have to pay a deposit for beach towels, it sends the message that you don’t trust your customer. We came away from this hotel feeling disappointed for how much we paid for and their approach. You can’t beat the location on Playa de Muro so if you really want to stay there be prepared for mass tourism both in the resort and on the back street. You can definitely find more charming four star resorts elsewhere and at half the price.

Very nice resort, nice rooms and nice location ( we were in Suite area ) some things were not opended yet ( bars / sundbeds etc whick were sad ) and the food was only average in the buffet. Lunch restaurent was good. Strange in my opinion that you have to pay for using the hotels Tennis and Padel courts ( 15 Euro per hour )

This is a lovely hotel in a wonderful location. As British tourists, we were very much in the minority, which we liked (Wir sind Europäer). The hotel has a very nice family-friendly atmosphere and (as we stayed in early September) there were lots of pre-school children around. The hotel was clean, the staff were delightful and the food, varied and plentiful.
Our only complaint would be with the two sittings arrangement at dinner. Each sitting was just 90 minutes long and so everyone arrived for dinner at the earliest opportunity, creating chaos in the areas where the buffet was being served. It wasn't the relaxing, laid-back experience that we had hoped for.
Towards the end of our holiday, the hotel changed the dining arrangement and allowed people to eat when they liked. The result was so much more enjoyable as people took their time and didn't feel under pressure. Perhaps earlier on in our holiday, the hotel was just too full and too busy to cope.
We would love to return to Muro one day but we will need to save our pocket-money. This was one of the most expensive hotels we have visited, but probably the best.

The cleaning staff and thin white lady at the dining room were feiendly kind and nice and helpful. The front desk(except the very young woman with pony tail) folks always looked too busy on their computers to talk or help But when you phoned down to ask they were helpful. Be aware you need to put up money to use towels and an iron (not one in the room) you DO get the money back upon return. Overall really good. Will stay there again.

Location for our cycling activity. Being refused entry to the restaurant for wearing shorts when females were allowed to wear shorts. I thought this type of sexist behaviour had been eradicated years ago

I was staying at the hotel for the Mallorca 312 cycle event. Lovely hotel, nice staff, efficient, great position on beach, had a cold buffet on offer for night time arrivals. Some areas of the hotel were a little tired. Mostly an excellent hotel and excellent value for money.

Dining staff really friendly and helpful however front desk not as much. Didn't tell us coffee facilities before breakfast was available only handed us a paper in Spanish assuming we can read. We only found out on last day. Otherwise very pleasant stay even though as off season nothing open around the hotel. Good variety of food in buffet .

Really lovely hotel in a great location. 3 great pools and only steps from the beach, what more could you ask for. There was more than enough sun loungers dotted around, I particularly liked lying under a palm tree.
Breakfast was really good and dinner had a different theme each night and seemed to cover all the bases for different diets.
The spa facilities and gym were great.
Would be perfect for families with a good variety of things to keep littke folk entertained. The animation team work really hard as do all of the staff who were all very polite and friendly.
Will definitely go back

The beach was beautiful. The staff were all nice. The buffet was adequate. A pass to the spa was included which had nice waiter features, sauna and steam room. There is limited parking at the hotel so we had to park at the beach. There is a fee to use the in room safe and a 15 euro deposit is required for use of beach towels. Overall it was a good value.

Great hotel and the service was excellent. Great location for the Mallorca 312 sportive. Food and service was generally excellent. We had a sea view which was amazing particularly to wake up to the sunrise and gentle waves breaking on the beach. Only bad points were the people in the next door room who’s alarm went off 3 nights on the run at 1.20 am?! The sound came in from the balcony so had to close the windows and the air conditioning was not on so the room was very warm. Also they do an early breakfast between midnight and 7 but nothing between 7 and 8 am which is odd since 8 am is quite late for breakfast to start. Both minor points and we would stay again without hesitation.

The price is a pretty good value considering breakfast and dinner were included! We also enjoyed the pool and spa area. However, some things were not as ideal. For instance, the shower did not appear clean and there was hair. Not a big deal to me and others may be very put off by that.... but, I do know the general expectation is not to your hotel in that condition. Also, we were double charged at the front desk although we previously paid online. Once we disputed it, we were offered our refund, but the transaction was not cancelled on the credit card. Once again - not a huge deal to us, but it may have happened to others. Lastly, this was mid-April so it was not quite as hot and humid as it is in the summer and our room was HOT. The AC was not blowing out cool air so we had to sleep with the window open. There are a ton of options for food at dinner and breakfast, but boy do they pack things up at 2130 on the dot. As with any buffet - some food is good, and some is not so good. Overall, still a great value. The staff members were very friendly and more than helpful and the overall presentation of the hotel is very nice.

Been to the Playa Esperanza many times. The staff are very friendly and a lot of them remembered us from the previous visits and spent time talking to us.
Located right on the beach and great for walking either way and across the road is Parc Naturel de Albufera.
Mainly Germans and Spanish in the hotel but I have no problem with this as they will quite happily chat to you.
We visit in early or late season and have been coming here for the last 16 years and have stayed about 14 times and will be returning again.

Very nice hotel, it looks fairly new and is overall very clean. I had booked a room with partial sea view and they gave me a nice room at the 5th floor with sunrise view as I requested. The hotel is right at the beach which also is spotless. The hotel does not have a private beach but the beach is right in front of the hotel, so mostly you will find hotel guests there.
The beds and umbrellas are private owned and do need to be rented. I just got a towel from a shop and used that. Towels are for rent as well but deposit of EUR 15,- was a bit over the top for me.
Rooms are clean, and balconies are large enough to sit for two persons. Dinner might be a bit weird as they have "shifts" and you cannot change the shift plus you always have to sit at the same table every night of your stay. I can understand that it might be easier to manage but it is not very flexible. Food overall was varied and enough available, I do found a lot of dishes to be quite salty to the taste. Quality of the food was good and staff very friendly.
The surrounding area has one street which has a couple of bars and restaurants, and a lot of souvenir shops and Spar supermarkets. It was end of season so not much life there going on during the day and night, but even in peak season, little variety and not much of a nightlife going on. So if you are looking for fancy bars and clubs, this is not the place to be, but for a nice and relaxing holiday definitely a nice hotel.

Definitely the food in the main restaurant was exceptional in quality and variation. Unfortunately I can't say the same for the Luna pool bar and restaurant. The cost was excessive and the quality was lacking.
My only other negative was the beds were on the soft side. Other than that I found the hotel to be exceptionally high quality and the staff superb . A very enjoyable holiday.

We spent a very enjoyable week here in July 2017, with a fantastic view of the sea and the pool from our balcony. The bedroom was spotlessly clean, and the mattresses super-comfy. The food was excellent, and we really enjoyed being able to spend time in the indoor spa pool and jacuzzi (at no extra cost) when we had had enough sunshine for the day.
It seemed to us that virtually everyone else was German speaking, so if you are sociable and like to have the odd chat with people around the pool or in the hotel environs you won't be able to unless you speak German!

Good selection of food for both breakfast & dinner. Spacious room with balcony and comfortable bed. You do need to maneuver around the bathroom door to get to the toilet but other than that the bathroom was well equipped. I was there early June so no problem getting a sun lounger + shade for the day. Great for a rest & relaxation holiday
